Sly movements

What is going on with all these joint meetings?

Do we not have enough committee Volunteers?

Is it possible that some of the Committees members are not following Israel's commands and  therefore he is trying to lessen their effect, by lessening the number of people able to vote against his demands? Could this be another sly ploy by the great one to control the output of these Committees?

Is he sly enough to bring this off?

Are we dumb enough to allow it ?

Extricating oneself from self made lies.

I never wanted to be involved with a reality show. I never wanted to be involved with a reality show that was about Donald Trump's narcissist self, see the 3rd debate,

If I was given a choice, which I wasn't, I would elect to pass on Trumps Reality show.

I have heard enough of the lies that say that all Mexicans are Rapists, that Hillary should be locked up for Criminal behavior, that nowhere are the lies, that are promulgated by D.Trump, are they announced as being lies, unfair and unjust.

So it seems to me that the farther down that Trump falls, the more he lies, the bigger the lies, the more he tries to extricate himself from his self-made entanglements.

He can not.

Just what lies are e talking about? Well, you can bet your bippy that it is not about JTT.But it is.

Here is my short list.

1. That the shooting attempt at the Synagogue did not happen.

2. That the Broadband plan promulgated by Israel is good for the Village.

3. That David Israel does not see enemies at every corner.

4. That the Administration of CVWPB is a friendly place, peopled by friendly people.

5. That the money being raised for the Roads, Clubhouse AC and Lifts for Hasting will not be a raise in our payments.

6. The Administrations plan for Broadband is better than anything that is currently under consideration.

I could go on and on with this list, but suffice it to say that I have touched on the high points.  At least those points that will cost us the most money.

Israel's hurtful atitude

Thinking about David Israel and his attitude, specifically his attitude about what he can do and what he can get away with.

So now I am talking about his attitude concerning his over-riding the will of the Delegate Assembly. We say no and he says Yes. We, the Delegate Assembly say no to his Broadband effort, but he goes on anyway. He wants a Village-wide Broadband even though we have a perfectly good plan for Broadband and it will save us lots of money.

If you listen to him you will hear him knock the Association Broadband says that it cannot work, it is. They, the contractor, will not support this, they are.

His attitude is that he wants to install his idea of a Broadband system that will make him famous. He wants this to be his legacy. Forget the cost to the village. Forget the Village needs.

I don't think he should be allowed to get away with this.

This Election is NOT Rigged.

So, why do you think that the big guns, Ryan and McConnell will not say what they think about Trump? To what I see they want to win the election so badly that they are willing to let the Republican party get behind the lies that Donald Trump keeps promulgating. They seem to want the election so badly that they are willing to allow Trump to say whatever he wants, just so they can get a piece of the election. Even it hurts the country.

It seems to me that backing Trump in all of his wild sayings. In his insisting that the election is rigged, is forgetting about the welfare of this country.

He started with this when it became obvious that he was going to lose. The bigger the loss the louder he yelled rigged.

The Election is not rigged as a matter of fact it cannot be rigged. The election is run as a grass root effort. It is run with the idea that the election is run by controlling it from the bottom. That is to say, the Election is controlled from the bottom up. No rigging possible.

Donald Trump lies.

He has already given up on this election. Now all he can do is lie and hope. He has given up on his chances and is proceeding to cause as much trouble to our Country as he can.

They are at it again!!

The Broadband committee is meeting or has met to interview another Broadband supplier. In the meantime, the local associations broadband keeps trucking along. Working nicely with none of the dire things happening that David Israel has promised. It keeps working nicely and the cost is about $5 per month per unit.

It seems to me that bad mouthing our available broadband that about 60 Associations have set up and are happily using is (with no complaints) should end the discussion.

But it does not, and Israel keeps interviewing prospective suppliers and keeps asking questions as though this was a possibility.

It is not.  

Where does he get off saying that this Broadband that so many Associations are using, and using successfully, will not work?

The price is right, the supplier is big enough (Comcast) to meet and handle any problems that may turn up, So far there have been no problems.

Yom Kippur wishes

Friends,

Tonight, thousands of Jews throughout the World will begin the observance of Yom Kippur, the holiest day in Judaism. Yom Kippur, or the Day of Atonement, is an opportunity for Jews to reflect on the past year, on mistakes they have made, and to ask for forgiveness for those wrongdoings as they look ahead to the new year -- a practice that all jews should learn from.

I wish all those who are observing an easy fast and a day full of meaningful reflections.

G'mar Hatima Tova and may all have health and happiness in the New Year.

Gerald Karpf has passed

Jerry Karpf has passed. His body was found near the lake, near his unit. Jerry was a friend. He was the President of the Presidents club. He has been very active in the Delegate Assembly.

He will be missed.

Talk about doing the right thing. Our President, the President of Wellington A, was wandering about the Property just before and during the Hurricane. He was looking for trouble and he found it. At least he found my bike, left out in the storm and locked to the rack. He asked if he could stow it safely. And once permission was granted he moved it into the laundry room, and at the storms end, he put it back into the rack.

I think that is service above and beyond.

Our Security and bad storms.

So,what has happened with the need for security during a bad storm?  How about the need for Security during the arrival of a Hurricane? Our entrance gates were left wide open during the arrival of Matthew and beyond. Don't we have an agreement about this
occurrence? We should!

Security and Century Village.

So, what is all the hoopla about Century Village and Wi-Fi?The Delegates have turned it down a number of times, at a Formal Delegate Assembly Vote. But Mr.Israel keeps pushing it forward. What is it about No that Dave Israel does not understand? We have voted on this at least 2 times already, maybe 3 times and he still keeps pushing it.

50 or 60 Associations have already gone to the private contract to get the Association it's own Wi-Fi the price is about $5 per unit per month. A lot better than the $30-$40 per month per unit that Israel would have to charge.

If you attend some of the Committee meetings you will hear Israel making up lies as to why the Association Wi-Fi will not work, can not work. But the fact of the matter is that it does work, it is provided by Comcast.

So, what happened at the Hurricane's arrival and the CV security? During the arrival of the Hurricane, the Guard gates at the entrances were empty. The guards went home I guess. Where would we be if the Cops or the Firemen decided to go home due to the arrival of a Florida Hurricane?
This is not good! It is probably not allowed by contract.

Air Condition Dreams

                         Twenty grand,,,, No sweat !

During the contemplations by the Operations Committee, the replacement of  lights for the clubhouse theater, with a price tag of some twenty grand  was another hot topic. I guess some of the performers complained that the burning hot lights  were causing them to sweat profusely, hampering their performances. Some of the gals on the committee said that no one wants to see a sweaty performer crooning under the hot lights., Come on girls ! Tell the truth and shame the devil . A sweating hunk of burning love gallivanting around would be a good draw and you might even be able to sell a few more tickets if we booked a sweaty He-man as an attraction. Some of the committee expressed concern about  lagging ticket sales at the theater,  So here's a suggestion that makes sense if you think about it :  Fix the Air conditioning.
