Part 2 the Haters Series Continued

This is the second part of the History of the Recall Committee of Dorothy Tetro. We will go over the charges. Trust me it won't take too long, most of the charges are frivolous and many do not make sense.

Charges 1 thru 3 attempted to cast doubt on where Dorothy lived and when and for how long. The fact that for tax purposes she used one residence does not in any way prove that residence was the residence she lived in all the time. As a matter of fact, for tax purposes she could of used a post office box as a address and the IRS would have been good with it. We can thank Pat Sealander for this stupid attempt.

Charge #5 wanted to know what was the purpose of Dorothy running for Treasurer and selling and buying property's. Her answer was in the beginning I ran for Treasurer only. I had to intention of moving or buying property.

#6 had to do with Pat Sealander's made up charge of secret meeting with the Bank, with no minutes and no reports. Ridiculous. In conducting regular business  Dorothy would close her office door. Usually the bookkeeper was present.

#7 Complained that Dorothy did not follow Dave's lead to electronic-size the Banking. The fact here is that Dave asked twice and Dorothy responded that she wanted to follow the Accountants directions. Dave says ignore our Accountants and do it my way. Need I say more?

#8 This was Pat S. complaint that Dorothy must of leaked financial information since "False Libelous, and defaming info showed up on My Village Blogger. So my question is are they facts or not? They are Facts and anybody could get them and print them in My Village Blogger, just by asking. This is part of the open window policy we all want and approve of. We would be better off, with no acrimonious remarking if we got rid of these people.

Snarly Hatred Abounds Part 1

So what happened at Dorothy Tetro's Board of Inquiry? Would you believe that this whole thing was a travesty and so unfair and so wrong as to border on the criminal? Would you believe that the insanity went on for over 60 minutes?

To start with George  Franklin tried to be fair to Dorothy, But the haters, and you could smell the hatred coming off the dais and also emanating from some of the audience who wouldn't allow it. You could hear them snarling.  But we must give Dorothy credit. She came prepared and ready to go, when ever she was given a chance,

Pat S,  who arranged for the petition and who saw to it that two of the early board members assigned by David Israel were disqualified because they had signed the petition, so their attitude was certainly not bias in any direction except against Dorothy. And talking about bias, what about Pat S. She set up the petition and and her unrelenting hatred for Dorothy permeated the whole auditorium. 

There were 8 charges all of which Dorothy answered with considerable patience, fortitude and frankness. Actually I think there were 7 because  one of them was about so-called witnesses that decided early on not to press there views. So they didn't show, so Pat S said she had their "depositions" not sworn of course, but George insisted that Dorothy had the right to face her accusers over Pat S's angry snarly declarations to the opposite. 

George Franklin advised the audience that there will be no outbursts, no questions, and no input from anybody except the Board. So immediately Marilyn God..... jumped up from the audience and started to berate the Chairman. He trying to be polite could not shut her up. 

Dorothy complained the photographer was taking to many pictures of her and must stop. This person then started to argue with the chairman to the  point that what he was doing was his right. And of course the editor of the paper jumped up and screamed that he was a certified photographer and therefore he could do what he wanted. Dorothy's request was ignored.

All of this in the interest of fairness and justice!

When I first entered the auditorium I noticed our erstwhile leader seated in the Balcony and grinning like a Cheshire cat. After all he orchestrated this Farce.

So without continuing with this reporting suffice it to say that in Dodge City this type of activity would of been called a lynching. In Salem she would of have been burnt at the stake.In today's Court it would of been called a Kangaroo's Court. In the CV Board of Inquiry it is known as Fair and Just.

What happened to the Election Committee's argument, that since we are always short of talent we have to use it where ever we find it. Who could deny that Dorothy is probably one of the most honest and talented Treasurers we have ever had?

This is only Part 1. More and more shocking is to come. See how the charges don't pan out, see how the charges have no validity, see how the charges are basically made up (probably by the haters)

February 7 the delegates will vote for the recall of Dorothy Tetro. The majority of them have not had the benefit of hearing the testimony which clearly showed that Dorothy is not guilty of these trumped-up charges. Dorothy showed proof at the hearing that she became a co-owner of a property in Oxford BEFORE selling her apartment in Wellington.  She later became a co-owner of a home outside Century Village but has always maintained property in Century Village. 

The question of where one sleeps or where one votes or where one files for homestead is a legality that only the courts can decide. It has no bearing on the fact that Dorothy has served us as treasurer every day except for the times she was on vacation.

To recall Dorothy one month before her term expires is the real crime.  To subject her to these frivolous and misleading charges is saying to her’ “Dorothy, we don’t care how much money you saved us- we don’t care how much mishandling of our money you exposed or how many hours you worked at the UCO office, we’re just gonna throw you out. 

This is not the way to treat a person who has worked as hard as Dorothy  and received nothing in return;  NOT ONE PENNY.

The real crime is this recall. And I say we must not allow Dorothy to leave UCO with the stigma of being removed from office.  We must support her and show her that we appreciate everything she has done for us. 

We must vote to keep Dorothy.

Well as ye all know Esther has been a bit down and out and her arse kicking leg is under the weather but I'm sure it will come back strong. In the meantime I took the liberty ( because after all this is a free country)  of doing a bit of snooping or as my ancestors would say a bit of Sherlocking and I must say I have been laughing my arse off all night and I'm thankful I don't have dentures because they would have flown out while reading Dave's blog and cost me a fortune to replace.

I find it absolutely amazing you cannot get on his first blog because it was limited to 100 people ( or cronies). What is amazing to me is that there are 100 people  have been  duped by this and hopefully they now realize they need to call the techno grandchild and have themselves deleted. OOPSIE I never existed on  the blog. Help me, I'll give you money for college....

Secondly if ye want to be on the NEW AND IMPROVED blog you need to give all your information. Name, Address and Tellie number. Are you fricking kidding me??? I don't need Mr. Israel's cronies showing up at my house, calling me or privately spreading false truths about me. But then again I might because I need to keep my wellies in shape and Arse stomping helps with that for some reason.

The following are some of the other things that had me bursting my britches.

Lanny made a post about voting with bullets, by the time I finished reading it I wanted  to do something to Lanny with a bullet.

Elaine could put any sane person in the mental ward with her posts and who in the hell would want to live to be 100 if you had to listen to her dribble. Shoot me now! Is she serious about the " shout out for finding a bank that takes unrolled coins ? Cause they are heavy and rolling them is an arse ache. WAHH WAHH WAHH. Bring them to TD bank and take a shot at how many and you can win a lollipop!  Moving right along to flushable wipes.. while in the meantime posting a ham sandwich recipe? Gotta give her Kudos for multi.....whateves.

But her sleuthing is incredible! She clearly has two good eyes that do not see. Maybe if I cap this she will get it . I'm not optimistic but I'll give it a go. ELAINE GOOD JOB ON FINDING PUBLIC RECORDS ON WHERE DOROTHY LIVES ( CAUSE  DOROTHY WAS CONCERNED YOU MAY HAVE THOUGHT SHE WAS IN KANSAS) BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER REMAINS THAT DOROTHY FOUND MISMANAGED, DWINDLING FUNDS IN THE VILLAGE ACCOUNTS AND WHEN SHE DID NOT TURN A BLIND EYE AND STOOD UP TO THE RASCALS INVOLVED SHE BECAME A FOCUS OF A PERSONAL ATTACK AND AS I SAID ON SOMEONES BLOG I COULD GIVE A FIDDLERS FART IF SHE CAME FROM THE MOON BECAUSE SHE HAD THE BRAINS TO DISCOVER IT, REMEDIATE IT AND THE BRAWN TO EXPOSE IT. YOU GOT THAT ELAINE, YOU PICKING UP WHAT I'M PUTTING DOWN OR ARE YOU THE SNOWMAN HITCHING A RIDE? MELTING YET CAUSE YOU ALL NEED A SPOT OF TEA AND THE WATER IS LOW. AND WE ARE ALL LOOKING FOR YOU TO DO SOMETHING USEFUL!

I know my Catolick ( Irish for Catholic) ancestors would have there there hair raised about this next point  especially because they think only the Irish Catholics go to heaven but the post about Dorothy's recall made me feel that I was reincarnated and living in any of the following places under dictatorship China, North Korea, Russia,  Northern Ireland, Cuba, Nazi Germany, Viet Nam, Haiti, Africa, Venezuela ect. "There will be no discussions or questions from spectators" REALLY????  THEN WHAT IS THE POINT OF MR. ISRAEL'S RECALL MEETING? OH, I GET IT WITCH HUNT !BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER REMAINS THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY AND EVERYONE THAT LIVES IN THE VILLAGE OR EVEN OFF THE PREMISES FOR THAT MATTER, BOUGHT A PLACE THERE, PAYS TAXES THERE ( EVEN IF THEY RENT OUT THEIR PROPERTIES) AND HAS RIGHTS. GOD GIVEN RIGHTS ELAINE AND ALL OTHER CRONIES! YE CAN THANK YOUR LUCKY STARS THAT I DID NOT ATTEND THAT MEETING CAUSE GOD BLESS THE JACK ARSE ( AND MAY HE /SHE REST IN PEACE) THAT WOULD HAVE TOLD ME I COULD NOT ASK A QUESTION OR MAKE A STATEMENT.

I only have one request and that is come to your senses people before my dream of seeing the Village People come and perform while directing you all to the local YMCA comes true...VOTE FOR ESTHER!

The Ringer has Gonzo?

There are, by the taking of a straw poll, just about 200 Delegates and Alternates that desperately want to get this man of very little respectable character out of the office of the UCO  presidency.

There is a RINGER, who is a part of the small Israel gang of cohorts, that has provided information that Israel has indirectly informed those followers to shy away from responding to anything stated on My Village Blogger, the free and open Blog.

Why?....was the question.  It was figured out and confirmed that Israel and his henchmen can only lie and deny and not intelligently and honestly respond to the remarks and questions posed to him and others.  What a revelation!!!

A "RINGER," should you not be aware of the meaning of the word, --- is a spy who  has made inroads with an inner group, --- gets specific information, and then passes that information along secretly to other people.  Mr. Israel, is, no doubt, unaware of who the RINGER is, and he would be shocked out of his pants if he knew.

There certainly is a silent majority out to topple him from his throne.  I hadn't realized that he has made so many enemies.

I think that the RINGER is now gonzo, but that's the way it crumbles, the cookie, that is.  There is another person who Israel has insulted who may come forward, --- we'll have to wait and see.

The Illegal Recall

Illegal Actions by these few people jeopardize all of us.

We are advised that the people that are running our Treasurers recall are Planning in doing it in such a way as to be illegal and Judicially illegal. Please, people, don't think it is alright to break the By-Law rules. Be advised that there are consequences to this illegal action. And the Consequences will be Judicial and will be personal. 

Be advised that David Israel and Pat Sealander will be held personally responsible for breaking these By-Law Rules as well as any other co-conspirators and/or perpetrators.

Those of you that think the by-laws are there for their personal pleasure and can be used and modified for their own uses are in for a big surprise and disappointment. 

The By Laws must be followed to the letter. That is the only right and just action. Those that do not follow the law will be punished.

Remember the way out of of this type of thing is to throw the culprits out. Vote for Esther!

Dorothy Tetro Recall and Its Insanity

THE DOROTHY TETRO RECALL NONSENSE IS THE  HIGHLIGHT TO DAVID ISRAEL'S RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN

You've all read the posting about Israel changing the UCO Bylaws, and he arbitrarily does this without anybody's

approval.  The article detailed how Israel made the required "expeditiously" necessity to then become over three

and one-half months.  INSANE.

You've probably also read the posting about Israel appointing his friends to the Board of Inquiry panel, similar to

stacking a deck of cards by a con man.   MADNESS.

And now, Israel has another act of total recklessness.  He made the decision that the allegation party, Patricia

Sealander, may call witnesses at the recall hearing.  THERE IS NOTHING IN THE UCO BYLAWS, NOTHING

EVEN HINTING, THAT WITNESSES MAY BE CALLED TO TESTIFY. (Will these Witnesses be Sworn?-Gary)

So, once again, this "I'll do anything I want to do" wicked czar is making up his own rules.  CRAZINESS.

Let's carry it even further.  Israel, with his new rules, not approved by the Delegates, has set up a Board of Inquiry

hearing composed of five CV close pals of his, and who, at that hearing, are supposed to come to some conclusions

as to the validity of the so-called charges against Dorothy Tetro.  Who will be at that hearing and for what legitimate

purpose... does anybody know? 

Then at a separate Delegates Meeting set for February 7th, next, the Board of Inquiry's "recommendations" will

be presented, and the Delegates will be asked to vote.  Now think,.....how many Delegates at the February 7th

meeting will know anything at all about the "Hearing" meeting.  I might assume that most of them will not have the

benefit of hearing directly what any of the panel had to say.  THE CUTTING EDGE OF HYPOCRISY.

Even the czar's knaves know, unless they are absolutely morons and idiots, that what is going on is absolute

madness and that the emperor is pulling the deception act.  By doing what he is doing, shows Israel to be a

behind-the-door coward, -- an honest-to-goodness coward.

Israel has Black waiting in the back room, where he generally hides, ready to work together to get full control of

all of the UCO moneys, -- about $7,000,000.  But first he needs to eliminate Dorothy Tetro as UCO's Treasurer.

At an Insurance Committee Meeting, he throws up another smoke screen by telling everyone that when he is

re-elected, he has a retired CPA to take over the job as Treasurer.  He keeps it top secret that he and Black will

dictate to this new treasurer how all of the UCO accounts will be set up.  SCANDALS all over again; that's the

game plan Israel has in mind..

YOU, THE DELEGATES, SURELY KNOW WHAT THIS OGRE/DICTATOR IS ALL ABOUT.  PLAIN AND SIMPLE, ---

YOU'VE GOT TO GET HIM THE HELL OUT OF OFFICE.  DAMN-IT, MAKE THE S-O-B HISTORY!

Israel friends to serve on Board of Inquiry re Dorothy Tetro

FOR ALL TO KNOW: David Israel, the great master of lies, deception and back-room sneakiness, has selected all his friends to serve on the Board of Inquiry panel regarding the Dorothy Tetro Treasurer recall fiasco. Another  set-up like the SCANDALS.
And, it has been found out that two of these individuals had signed the recall petition and Israel knew it. Hard to believe, but true. It is inconceivable, just very hard to believe and understand that nobody has the intestinal fortitude to step forward and make a concerted effort to shut down this mean-spirited, wicked dictator who is like a freight train running wild. 

 How does he get away with it? One reason is that, like many other matters, he has kept it secret, --- tucked in with his NSA files so that nobody knows anything of what he's doing. 

IT IS WRONG, SO WRONG. 

You know, you could rankle him somewhat by writing him letters of your objection to what he is doing; or send him e-mails or g-mails, or hand deliver correspondence to him at the UCO office, or fax a letter to him, or form a group and visit him at his office, or call him on the phone, or any combination, -------and tell him that his actions are repugnant and totally unacceptable. You could put our finger right in his nose and tell him to STOP IT....JUST STOP IT.

It is so unfortunate that the people of CV are so afraid of Israel's retribution that he sarcastically makes known. Israel does everything in such a secretive and sneaky way that nobody knows what he's conjuring up in the back room of UCO.

ONE THING FOR DAMN SURE, --- YOU'VE GOT TO GET THIS OGRE OUT OF OFFICE. THIS SELF- APPOINTED CZAR IS PARANOID AND HE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN DOWN.

Hidden Staff Meetings

STUFF THE STAFF MEETINGS

 Each week, an illegal staff meeting is held at the UCO office under the supervision of David Israel.

Under the Florida Sunshine law, all meetings held by UCO are to be open to the residents. These particular “STAFF” meetings are closed and information discussed is not made available to the residents. The reason given by the President of UCO is that these meetings are not open because they are considered staff only and are for the sole purpose of exchanging information which if this was true he would be correct.  The problem is, this is not the case. I have recently become aware – although I have suspected for quite some time – that more than the sharing of information is discussed at these meetings and therefore, are not to be considered staff only and should be open to the residents.  It’s time for David Israel to stop breaking the Florida Laws and start abiding by them.  

David seems to believe that Laws are only made for others to abide by, and for him to break.

It’s time for an honest administration to take over UCO.

JUST A NOTE

     This is just to let our readers and supporters know that I am going to have a right knee replacement this Monday and will be away from the computer for a while. WELCOME NEWCOMERS TO THE LAND OF NEWSPEAK

     Yesterday, there was an interesting meeting for newcomers, to introduce them to relevant people in UCO and WPRF and answer questions they might have. Each person spoke a piece about his or her own area but when it came to answer questions, a very interesting phenomenon took place. David Israel answered almost every question, without even giving another person a chance in most cases and when Dom gave an answer, David Israel then took the mike and said he had a correction in which case he turned the numbers around. Instead of 20% one way, he stressed the 80% the other way. 

But what was most interesting was the fact that on the table were heaps of business cards advertising, pushing David Israel's personal blog. He did say it was HIS blog but then the question is - why was he allowed to do that?

     Eva, you read the blog, so the question is to you. Why was a personal blog with extraneous and divisive material, denigrating to others, allowed to be pushed at a welcome newbies meeting? In the interests of fair play, of which you say you are a proponent, then either this blog should not have been mentioned, with business cards for it on the table, or the other blog which relates to the Village and also has pertinent information on it, like the Bylaws, etc. as well as comments should also have been allowed and/ or mentioned. I, too, could have brought business cards.Please explain the reasoning behind what happened.

     The other interesting item to mention, one which almost caused me to choke, was when David Israel mentions in oh such a sincere and stern voice that people should always check the financials of the Association where they live. Never trust anyone because one never knows; there are crooks here too! Well, really, David Israel? Should I have stood up then and mentioned the whole shifting of funds from reserve accounts to others without permission, the moving of funds overnight, the shenanigans you play with refusing to sign checks in UCO now in your petty little war of persecution against Dorothy? Pot calling other possible kettles black? Or maybe you should have said you are an expert in this area as you have indulged in bypassing bylaws and regulations.

     Veeeerrry interesting meeting. and Eva, I await your response. You know my number.

Dear Lanny, In reference to your article on David’s blog:

David does not respond to Esther because she tells the truth. There is no way on earth that someone can deny facts; especially about the roads which you so carefully never discuss. A five million dollars mistake is a tremendous blunder you chose to avoid.  Instead, you write about frivolous subjects like road trips that only you are interested in. Is this your level of awareness or intelligence?    You also have the audacity to compare David Israel with Roebling, who built the Brooklyn Bridge.  Have you lost your mind?  David Israel is not a builder; he is a destroyer. Open your eyes look around you; see the chaos he has created in the village, the dissension, the fights, the arguments, and the animosity. David Israel is not the one to lead us into the next century; he is the one to bring us back into the dinosaur age.

David is the Neanderthal. Esther is the Savior.

Fighting for the Right to Sit at McDonald’s

Shortly after New Year’s Day, Man Hyung Lee, 77, was nursing a coffee in his usual seat in a narrow booth at a McDonald’s in Flushing, Queens, when two police officers stepped into the fluorescent light of the restaurant. Mr. Lee said the officers had been called because he and his friends — a revolving group who shuffle into the McDonald’s on the corner of Parsons and Northern Boulevards on walkers, or with canes, in wheelchairs or with infirm steps, as early as 5 a.m. and often linger until well after dark — had, as they seem to do every day, long overstayed their welcome.

“They ordered us out,” Mr. Lee said from his seat in the same McDonald’s booth a week after the incident, beneath a sign that said customers have 20 minutes to finish their food. (He had already been there two hours.) “So I left,” he said.

“Then I walked around the block and came right back again.”

What McDonald's has to do to resolve this is to open a Senior Center in the middle of this McDonald store and give out free coffee. Welcome the Seniors. They will be good for business, and the Management and Employees will feel good.

YA' KNOW WHAT? PART TWO MORE CONVERSATION WITH DAVID ISRAEL

     Yes, audience, it is time for that wonderful reality show, Ya' Know What? More scintillating conversation with our prior panelists David Israel and  Esther Sutofsky. So let's begin.
     Esther: Ya' know what, David Israel? I believe that you have no clue as to how to handle money, certainly not more than what you might have in your wallet. And how do I know that? Well, secret transfers of money, immoral, if not illegal by our bylaws, transfer of money from one fund to another and a looming bankruptcy at one point. So what's up with that?
     David: Uh, uh....It wasn't my fault. Ed told me to do it. He made me. I always listen to Ed Black. I even think he should be treasurer again (Aha! So that is why David Israel is persecuting Dorothy Tetro - get her out a month before elections and that will give Ed Black a whole month to fiddle funds. Aha!)
     Esther: Ya' know what, David Israel? We are not going to let you take us to the edge of bankruptcy again. We are going to be watching you and your minions like a hawk. No more signing contracts on the sly. No more bypassing the delegate assembly. NO MORE! And while we are on a financial topic... just what, exactly do you think about Ed Black's theory that the Rob Peter to Pay Paul theory of accounting is just fine and a valid one for an entity of our size with a multi million dollar budget?
      Hey! Ya' know what? I got one more question for you. I just read in the paper that the NSA has a radio frequency in millions of computers which will allow them to do their tricks (hello, Richard Nixon theory of government). Since you keep telling us what an important and vital role you played in the NSA and seem to hint quite broadly that you continue to play a role,like saving the country after 9/11, so tell us, is that why you are so anxious to install UNSECURED WiFi in the Village? But hey, maybe there is a silver lining in that cloud. You would be so busy listening in that you would forget to transfer funds! And another plus - you love clouds, right?We'll get back to that cloud in another discussion. Not to worry.
     David Israel: Uh, uh, uh, uh......Ed, Lanny, help!
     Esther: Hey, ya' know what? Let's talk about that accusation people have been making stating that you are heartless. Is that true? If yes, then why? If not, then please explain why people would get that impression.
     David Israel: Uh, uh, uh, uh....Ed, Lanny, Grace - help!
     Esther: OK. Here is an easy one. Do you have any new plans? Any new ideas? Have you started planning for the contract renewals that are approaching? Have you made headway in finding a great contracts lawyer? Have you ever listened to the complaints of the people about Comcast, the lack of service, the rude service, the constant lateness of their service people, the lack of communication from office to said service people and the list can go on and on but "One moment please" - recognize that?
     Well, ya' know what, we, the residents of CV are tired of this. Tired of the poor service we get for our huge contracts. We are tired of no answers. We are tired of being kept in the dark,

      And YA' KNOW WHAT? TIME TO GO, DAVID ISRAEL. TIME FOR NEW IDEAS, FRESH ENERGY AND AN EAGERNESS AND ENTHUSIASM TO SERVE THE VILLAGE. IT IS TIME TO VOTE ESTHER, VOTE ESTHER, VOTE ESTHER!
      THERE IS POWER WHEN WE UNITE. LET US UNITE BEHIND ESTHER AS SHE PLANS FOR A STRONGER FACE TO THE OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS, A FIRMER GRIP ON WHAT WE ARE ASKING AND WHAT WE ARE GETTING, A BETTER USE OF OUR FUNDS - OUR MONEY, OUR FEES.

     Oh, just a little aside, what's with that program on Channel 63 that is drawing complaints with rude and crude jokes about people in the religious life i.e. nuns,etc. What is that all about? Dwight D. Eisenhower once said:  "THE SUPREME QUALITY FOR LEADERSHIP IS UNQUESTIONABLY INTEGRITY.WITHOUT IT, NO REAL SUCCESS IS POSSIBLE, NO MATTER WHETHER IT IS ON A SECTION GANG, A FOOTBALL FIELD, IN AN ARMY, OR IN AN OFFICE."

In the nearly four years that David Israel has been President of UCO, he has shown no visible tendencies or traits to make Century Village an integrated whole, --to embrace ALL of the people and LISTEN, LISTEN, and then LISTEN  some more to the people.

It appears evident that he lacks a rigid adherence to a code of acceptable behavior for a person who is supposed to give sound advice and direction to owners of nearly 8,000 condominiums. Time after time he has exhibited a personality feature that he is not righteous or virtuous in his leadership.

David Israel is an extremely secretive and complicated man who has mechanisms built in to spit out contempt toward anyone who questions his motives. He feeds, like an animal, on the power of the office of which he serves.

So, what to do with a man who reveals NO INTEGRITY, -- no compassion, no unity. YOU THANK HIM GRACIOUSLY FOR WARMING A CHAIR, PROVIDING NO SERVICE, AND SHOW HIM THE DOOR.

IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT ACCUMULATE

     Over the course of this campaign I have had quite a number of people come to me with  issues with David Israel and who had no idea as to how to get them resolved. Let's see what some of them are and what they mean.

     One issue is a double barreled concern for security. These people have all stated that there are so many keys out there that allow people to get into the UCO building that there really is no security at all. Renters, volunteers, part timers,people who did the oh so hard job of sticking papers in the scanner, and on and on. No security at all. It is like a sieve. What to do - simple. Just change the locks and only security and the President of UCO will have the keys. The building will not be open at all hours of the day and night and simply by insuring that we know that nothing untoward will happen inside will increase and insure the security of UCO records. For example, there is a little sneak with a key who goes around leaving nasty notes and Xeroxes on the desks of people. No key - no sneaky notes.

     The other barrel of  concern for security is that "cloud" that David Israel is constantly bragging on. In that cloud are all the records of the history of UCO, the notes from Betty Lapidus, information that is needed to insure smooth sailing for UCO and for whomever is an Officer, no matter the administration. David Israel has the password to get into that very same cloud, but go ask anyone other than his minions if they have the password and the answer is a resounding NO! They always have to ask for it.

 I ask the question now - How do we insure that all that information that has been uploaded and stored in the cloud remains accessible to a new administration? How do we make sure of its continued existence because the hard copies of so much have been shredded. Yes, shredded! Was there any approval for all that? No!. This is all part and parcel of the great computer scam presented to you by your esteemed president. It all boils down to MORE CONTROL for David Israel.

     Another concern, and this one is truly heartbreaking for some people, is what they see as the lack of concern, the lack of heart for people who might need help and for people who are doing the helping. One gentleman was so upset with this issue that tears were brimming in his eyes and his frustration was clear. This lack of care and heart can be seen in the way David Israel yells and threatens people, the way he allowed some screwball in the WiFi committee to curse me, spit flying and foul language galore. It is seen in the way David Israel wanted to cancel the excursion bus to save $15,000 and never mind the loss, the tremendous loss, it would be for the people who use it, who depend on it for leaving the Village.

     People, besides the administrative messes David Israel has made, besides the mishandling of our funds, besides his constant search for more power, despite his persecution of a woman who saved us from bankruptcy, his witch hunt, what truly weighs heavy on me is the lack of humanity. This we certainly do not need at this stage in life.

JUST A LITTLE NOTE

          Last night was a very pleasant outing for us. The show with Earl Turner was spirited, with an amazing performer as the star. The man was in the audience and I have never seen so many people get up and dance literally in the aisles. For those who missed it, make it your business to go next year. He is a powerhouse of a performer with enormous charisma and audience contact.

     Aside from that,were the so many people who came over, asked if I was Esther and when I confirmed it, shook my hand and wished me luck. They commented on how many people were wearing our pins Saturday night at the show and wondered where they could get pins. My husband and I just simply kept taking off ours and giving it to the people who wanted them. It was a simple positive affirmation that despite all obstacles we are making headway, our name is out there and our purpose is clear, despite all attempts to obscure it with lies and insults. So, my dear friend Grace, would you not call that an amazing night? One day we really must meet over a coffee or soda, don't ya' think?

          SO EVERYONE OUT THERE, COME JOIN THE EVERGROWING CROWD AND VOTE ESTHER FOR PRESIDENT ON MARCH 7, 2014. PUT DOWN THE KOOL AID AND DRINK FROM THE COOL REFRESHING VIEWPOINT WE REPRESENT.

EYES, EARS, BRAINS - AND ALL FOR NOUGHT

     It is truly sad when one extends a hand in an offering to work together, a plea that those who are willfully blind and heedless as to what has happened to our Village over the past four years, and those to whom it has been extended simply continue on with their secret blather corner. Perhaps there are people who are constitutionally unable to think for themselves and need to follow the one with the big bully stick. Well, no more for our Village.

     Once again, where is David Israel with his platform? When will he come out of hiding and face me in a debate? When will he grow up and stop throwing tantrums?

David Israel - what do you think about the upcoming Millenium negotiations as it phases out?
David Israel - when should we look for a super team of lawyers and begin the word for word, every dot and comma review and plan for the future?
David Israel - when will you stop sending out your minions to do your dirty work?
David Israel - what are your thoughts about the soon to be renewals on cable, security, AMR, etc?
David Israel - why do you always wait till the last minute to do things, if at all?
David Israel - why have you waited till the end of your term to finally get a lawyer and start bylaw review?
David Israel - we are ALL still waiting to hear why you moved millions of dollars of funding without approval?
David Israel - why did you leave us just about bankrupt?
David Israel- why do you now persecute the very person who saved us from bankruptcy and who now has less than two months to go in her position as Treasurer of UCO?
David Israel - is it because she knows too much or perhaps because you and Ed Black need to get your hot little hands on our funding again?
David Israel - why did you hire armed guards for a delegate assembly?
David Israel - why did you try to get Eva Rachefsky and/or the security guards to stop me from holding a banner asking you to debate?
David Israel -  what are we going to do in another few years for money to redo the horrible paving job? And the perimeter walks? And the drainage?
David Israel - why do you keep everything a secret? And shut off computers of other UCO officers who disagree with you?
David Israel - when and how are we finally going to get help for our associations and please, not another committee where, and I quote, "Nothing ever happens!"
David Israel - when are we going to have honesty and transparency?
David Israel - when are we going to have a President who cares for the residents, not about power?
David Israel - why are you so suddenly invested in no term limits when you vehemently wanted term limits just as vehemently? Is it because it is you who should have been out by virtue of term limits?
David Israel - when are you going to treat the delegates with more respect, as well as concerned residents who speak up at the assembly?

David Israel - you KNOW there are many more questions to ask and be sure they, as well as these, will be asked again and again until we get answers, if there are any.

ENOUGH ALREADY, I SAY. ENOUGH ALREADY. VOTE ESTHER FOR CHANGE, FOR HONESTY, FOR THE FUTURE!

POOR NOT SO AMAZING GRACE

     So Grace disagrees with a posting on the blog and bets that her disagreement, misguided as it is, would not be allowed on this blog. Wrong, oh so wrong, my not so amazing Grace. It is definitely posted and allowed as you did not use abusive language nor spout words of prejudice and Hallelujah for that! It is just too bad that you are so blind that you cannot see what is right in front of you.

   In fact, it is amazing, Grace, that you can say there is transparency in David Israel's administration. Let's see..... Aha! Got it! $80,000 disappearing from two reserve fund accounts overnight and no delegate assembly permission, which is required by our bylaws. Oops! And while on the topic, how about the rest of the money that was raped from the other accounts and transferred to the roads account - again, without approval. All this kept secret. Wow - such transparency, it is amazing!

     Want more/ Ok. How about David Israel not going public with his DECLARED in private intention to never debate me? Why is he so afraid to go public with the issues? Where is the transparency in that? What about the lack of transparency when David Israel took a UCO charge card that had supposedly gone missing and then used it to pay for armed guards for the assembly, going for intimidation of the delegates. Such transparency, trust and openness that I am so underwhelmed! Again, amazing, Grace.


     But still, you do not see. You do not see the anger and shouting, the threats and intimidation, the lack of a unified UCO. Why is it that so many of the current administration do not support David Israel? Says something, doesn't it?

     Where is the transparency when David Israel spreads his sneaky little rumors and insinuations and uses his mini-David Israels to further them along. Such transparency there! We do not use rumors and innuendos. We come right out and state whatever we wish to say - our platform, our hopes and dreams for the Village and our lack of interest in building up more power and control for the President, unlike David Israel.

And as far as experience in UCO, what with all the backroom dealing that has gone on and the backbiting, I am glad I can come in with a clean slate and that, along with my many, many years of administrative experience, far more than David Israel ever had, will serve me and the Village well in a new and fresh start. At least we will finally get something done and no one will ever have to say about the administration (as they do about this one) that nothing ever gets done!

     So now what do you have to say, Grace? Amazing how the truth will win out in the end. People are simply not buying his garbage any longer and it is time for you and your little buddies to see the light! Why don't you arrange a meeting with me and your little friends and have a chat? Hey, you can even bring along your buddy who is evidently too afraid to come out on his own. Now THAT would be amazing!

     PS - Know what else would be amazing? Unbanning all the people that David Israel has banned from his blog so that perhaps a discourse might even ensue. Wow! Now on that happening I am willing to take bets.

    GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND VOTE ESTHER. GO FOR TRANSPARENCY AND UNITY, HONESTY, NEW IDEAS AND PROGRESS. C'MON DOWN ! SEE CENTURY VILLAGE AS IT CAN BE. AS IT SHOULD BE!

YA' KNOW WHAT?

     I have been meeting with more and more small and private groups, friends, people who live near each other, people who want to know what is going on, so dearie me, but the blockage is kind of leaking a bit, huh, David? I have discovered that there is a huge groundswell of opposition to David Israel, that people want him out. They feel that he is divisive (how 'bout that!) and has not accomplished nor talked about much other than his WiFi and basically that is a bust. More and more people want to do it building by building with more of a chance of it working properly and securely and at a lesser cost, than trying for a whole Village with a tower and all that can go wrong. So what's left for David Israel? Ya' know what? I don't know.

     Now I am going to have a conversation with myself about the issues as David Israel refuses to engage with me in that conversation. So... Esther, what do you think is important to the Village?  So...Esther responds: " I believe that before we can accomplish anything, we need to convince the people to work together. Personal animosities and differences must be put aside. People must feel free to express his/her opinion in a constructive manner and work together and through the differences to form a new synthesis and a better Village.

     So... How do we accomplish that? Where do we start?  Response from Esther: Ya' know what? We start at the beginning. We convince people that it is not only safe, but desirable to politely voice opinions, that no one need scream nor be afraid of being tossed on the garbage heap or thrown under the bus. So many of our people have contributed such positive and constructive ideas and hours of work towards the Village that we must urge and convince them to continue and for those who have despaired - well, ya' know what? Welcome back. Under the Esther and team administration all are welcome who are willing to work under those terms of sanity and civility.

     And ya' know what? Once we get that going we can go look for proper attorneys. We have finally made a start, late, but a start, with an attorney for UCO bylaws. we need to follow up on that and not let it all go down the black hole of "nothing ever gets done" policy of the present administration. Next, we need a good contracts attorney because we have been royally worked over in some of our major contracts and it is time we stopped that. We need an attorney firm that has an in, a strong connection to Tallahassee, so that we know early what is coming down the Pike and can prepare for it. We need to research the backgrounds of these possible attorneys and hire the best and not shut them out of the Village as David has done on many an instance. And ya' know what? WE CAN DO IT!!!! All it takes is some cooperation and some work, some constructive and productive work. Join us in this great revitalization of our home, our Village.

THE GOAL OF THE ESTHER AND TEAM ADMINISTRATION

     There is still a lot of trash going on around the Village, rumors set in place by David Israel and cohorts; indeed, one person came to my home today extremely upset about what she had heard that morning. I told her to just say the truth and then ignore it. And that is what I am going to do as I explain just what it is that we want to achieve in our administration.

     The use of the word "our" is exactly what we want to achieve. I can write and talk all day long about what we want and have had mailings and information sheets with that information. Our platform is clear, but more importantly, we wish to make clear that the main goal we would like to achieve first, foremost and for the future is UNITY. We would like to see the Village function as one, with people of various and differing opinions meeting together and forging a new alliance with new and combined ideas.

     We need to HEAR and LISTEN to each other and not talk AT each other. We need to put aside our personal differences and likes and dislikes. Only the improvement of life in the Village is what matters, not the personal issues of people. That has been the problem for too many years and too many administrations. It is time to STOP. 

Today I sat and talked for three hours with someone who turned out to be a lovely and bright person who certainly has personal feelings, but who also has some wonderful ideas for the Village. She is willing to work with all people because she too would like to see us at our best. David, she even proposed making use of your love of computers and suggested that you can be productive for the Village in the IT area. It's an idea!

     For those of you still sitting on the fence. For those of you who wanted to hear a theme, a motif for the Village, a goal for all of us to aim for and to achieve - this is the team for you. And while it is difficult to get our message out to the public due to political machinations and decisions, please pay attention when it is so stated at the Candidate's Forum when you will see that the Esther team wants what is best for the Villagers, will hear what they have to say and is in no way or manner interested in power and more power.

       VOTE ESTHER AND BRING SANITY AND UNITY  TO THE VILLAGE.

ON BEING RIGHT

     Yesterday I wrote and posted a blog about friends and one of the points it made was that it was difficult at times to hold back the anger one feels when a friend or loved one is being trashed. Finally, when one can hold back no longer, because that would be a superhuman effort that is just not possible, people react.

 The "Booby - Bob" posting is just that - a perfect example of one who is driven to distraction and even despair at the trash talk and lies that have been directed at a good friend(s). So when reading a piece such as that, please remember what has preceded it and understand the anger, the frustration, the sense of talking to a brick wall with nothing to work with, to eyes, ears and brains that do not function.

     I said that this campaign was run unfairly and the frustration of not having a place to respond in an open forum only causes more anger to form as there is no outlet and no easy way to send out the rays of truth to counter the evil seeds that have been sown by David Israel and his minions. I, myself, have been called at various times, a (and I quote) "Nazi ethnic hate mongering divisive person" and I wonder how I can be so many things all at the same time?

 We run an open campaign and team with members from all races, creeds and nationalities and no one truly cares about it. What we do care about is that one should want to better the Village, to rid it of a dictatorial coterie of henchmen, of bullies who work in the same managerial school of thought as Christie of NJ. (Just read all the info that is coming out on him - a man who apparently only cares about his own agenda and never mind who is affected by it).

 We want a UCO where the sounds of shouts and yelling are not the everyday sounds of life there. We want a Village where the residents can trust its administration and come to help and volunteer there without being turned away.

    We want a cadre of volunteers who want to do the right thing, who do not hand out TWO  YEAR passes! who do not advise them of how to bypass investigations; who do not engage in power politics but rather in positive politics to benefit the residents; who do not leave nasty notes on people's desks in a cowardly and hateful manner; who do not encourage false rumors and lies and ethnic bashing. In other words, my friends, we want a new team in there, one with a positive platform and a positive outlook; a team which reaches out to you and to the future with plans and hope.

    Reach out to us as well - VOTE ESTHER AND HER TEAM ON MARCH 7.

Vote for a team that is led by a person with morals and courage, not one who apparently has neither as he refuses to talk openly with me about the issues and refuses to debate in a full debate but now holds on to a small and limited Candidate's Forum wherein time is extremely limited, What are you afraid of, David Israel? Why did you try to get the guards and Eva  to chase us away when we held a banner on Delegate Assembly Friday asking you to debate? WHY ARE YOU AFRAID TO DEBATE? Leads to interesting thoughts, does it not?

Can he spit out a six word intelligent sentence?

Now enters Booby-Bob Rivera again, the man who needs heavy mental medication, in order to spit out a six word intelligent sentence,---makes a numb-skull statement on the Israel Members Only Private Blab regarding Dorothy Tetro's residence.

He states: "Betti is so right.  It was about the bylaws, but Olga and her crew made it a personal issue as did Tetro.  At the assembly, they kept saying that Dorothy is an owner....yeah, she may be an owner, but she has not been for the full nine months, nor is she a RESIDENT THAT IS DOMICILED           IN THE VILLAGE, plain and simple.  SHE LIVES IN CYPRESS LAKES, NOT CENTURY VILLAGE!!!!  Everyone has stated what an honest person she is, but she can not tell the truth about this?  That makes her a LIAR."

Booby-Bob is either incredibly dumb, or his medication really needs to be changed.  Hey, Booby-Hatch, I'm ever so happy that you reduced your banana-brain thoughts to writing, because it makes you look like you're a frigging moron with earlaps.  You make the open statement that "....she may be an owner,"  --- you at least admit to that, --- and "but has not been for the full nine months,...."  PROVE IT , BOOBY, THAT SHE HAS NOT LIVED AT OXFORD 100 FOR NINE MONTHS DURING ANY CALENDAR YEAR.  I can't believe that people even listen to you.

And, you, Booby, spill some more crap by saying "...nor is she a resident that is domiciled in the village, plain and simple."  Where do you come up with such defecates mixed in with your pills? Again, Booby-Hatch, PROVE YOUR STATEMENT THAT SHE IS NOT A RESIDENT OR DOMICILED IN THE VILLAGE.  Hey, Booby Bob, before you make such idiotic statements, read the UCO Bylaws carefully and understand the dictionary definitions of "RESIDENT' and 'DOMICILED."  THE ONUS IS UPON YOU TO PROVE YOUR STATEMENTS.

Maybe if your cockeyed Residency Amendment was passed at the Delegates' Assembly, you would have had half a chance of proving what you allege.  Without a detailed and meaningful amendment to the UCO Bylaws, your statements are like farting  in a hurricane......absolutely useless.  Right now, Booby, you're on quicksand, and as you may say....."plain and simple."

Then, the highlight of your asinine statement: " SHE LIVES IN CYPRESS LAKES, NOT CENTURY VILLAGE!!!!"

Of course she lives in Cypress Lakes, ---she owns that property also.  I know that you can't visualize this because your head is so messed up, but she absolutely lives in both places.  BOOBY-HATCH, --PROVE WHICH PROPERTY SHE SPENDS MORE TIME AT!

I congratulate you for making a partial statement that is the honest-to-G-d truth, and that is:  "Everyone has stated what an honest person she is,"  but then you finish your sentence by saying:  "but she can not tell the truth about this."  You PROVE THAT SHE "CAN NOT" TELL THE TRUTH.  Then, Booby, without you providing one speck of proof to back up your awfully dumb remarks, --- you call Dorothy Tetro "a LIAR"  You're a  real piece of work.

You made up a tall story about  a support dog, but you haven't proven that either.  You're  a loud-mouthed egotistical fake, Booby-Bob Rivera,  and 

know it

FRIENDS AND THEIR IMPORTANCE

        This campaign has been hard; no doubt about it. Dealing with blocked paths that made it difficult to talk to people and hard to get information out can try one's patience, but we have been making headway. One of the best things about this campaign is the fact that I have met so many wonderful new people and have made some super great friends, bright and intelligent people who have put themselves out for me. I truly appreciate them and they epitomize the meaning of the word TEAM. Nothing would ever happen without their help and encouragement.

        This campaign has also taught me the true value of older friends who have stuck with me and urged me on with my choice. They understand the reasoning behind my run at the office - the chance and even the obligation to help change our Village for the better, to build civic pride once again, to encourage a new flow of volunteers, to reach out to the residents and see, hear and understand their needs and wants, not those of the officers and president. That is how it is now, with the needs of the president and his coterie of recycled individuals reigning supreme, with anger directed at those who dare to differ, with foul language and mean and nasty statements allowed when they should be gaveled out of order. David Israel is very good using that gavel to "out of order" people, but never when it really is needed.

        We have tried to run this campaign in a mannerly and orderly way, as far as we were allowed to do so but when lies, lies and more lies are thrown around, when false emails are sent out with false statements designed to scare people, then one must answer back. David Israel has chosen over and over again, in several elections, to smear his opponent, often using the same smear in different campaigns. We have proof of that in his very own words. David Israel has changed his statements as political expediency demanded. Yes term limits. No term limits. Yes, more power to the delegates. No, less power in the hands of the delegates and on and on.We are asking the delegates out there to think carefully and make a careful decision as to what they want for the Village in the future. Do you want more of the same, where nothing really gets done and committee after committee is formed and then dies on the vine?

       Or do you want a UCO which cares for its residents, one which reaches out to the Associations with real help and new ideas? Don't you want a UCO which welcomes you as you come in for questions to be answered? Don't you want a UCO which will rewrite the bylaws in a manner which is resident friendly rather than president friendly, one which allows for a free flow of information and needs, one which seeks out your needs and works towards fulfilling them?

     There is still time to hear what we have to say. Ask your delegate to vote for Esther. Ask your delegate to post ALL the information we sent out in the mail. Leave your name and address with me via the blog and my email or send to Gary whose email is at the top of the page and we will mail it to you. Arrange a club meeting or gathering, an association meeting and have me over. I have spoken to many and have gotten a warm, welcoming and positive reception.

     Understand who the true friends to the Village are - that is the team of Esther Sutofsky. Read what a friend wrote on the blog, titled The Lass, a total surprise when I read it. But that is what friends do - they reach out to support others and that is what I and my team wish to do to the Village. It is all in your hands.

Introducing The Lass

Good Evening All,  if you are reading this post this evening or as we would say in the Old Country "Top o the Morn to Ye", if you are rising and shining . You will all get used to my brogue in due time but for the moment I  just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself. I am The Lass and I am of Irish heritage, in fact I am as" Irish as Paddies Pig".  My heritage is neither here nor there so to speak but my posting here on Esther Sutofsky's blog is important.

I have known Esther  and Gerry Sutofsky for over a decade and believe me when I tell you we did not meet under the most ideal conditions. In fact, after our first conversation she had me shaking in my Wellies (boots). As I reflected on our conversation shortly afterwards I realized she was mostly correct about the matter at hand and I knew I needed to go back to her to sort out the concerns she had. As much as my Wellies ( you know what those are now) protested I picked up the phone and called her and made a request she hear me out. Well low and behold she obliged and not only did we sort matters out we became friends.

 Although we came from completely different backgrounds and religions and sometime opposing views we formed a friendship that has lasted over a decade and I am proud and honored ( I know I forgot the U the Irish put into honor but we are on US soil so I'll oblige) to call Esther and Gerry my friends.

At this point you may be thinking I am only here to give Esther a fluffy testimonial endorsement on her run for presidency of the village. Trust me Lads and Lassies if I could have talked her out of it I would have. I expressed my concerns that she was in retirement and enjoying her golden years and should only be concerned about her family, friends, health and enjoying herself but Esther had a different view and  deep sense of obligation to the village.  She could not turn a blind eye to the shenanigans of the representing officers of the village. Uh Oh, Your Going to hear her Roar!! ( Sorry Katie Perry but you have nothing on Esther). And now we are off to the races....

What I am here to tell all you Lads and Lassies is this. Esther Sutofsky is running for President of the village to represent EVERYONE that lives there. Can she make village life perfect for all of you? Most likely not but "Sure and Begora" her representation of all of you will be fair, inclusive and full of integrity.

I am not going to comment to much on David Israel and his style of representation at this point ( as I could be commenting for a fortnitght) but I find it a bit disturbing that he dictates versus represents. Why is his blog limited ? Are you not all entitled to have a say in how your membership, maintenance fees are allocated?? Are you all not entitled to vote on excess funds, are you all not entitled to see the books? Why are there senseless, unconstitutional rules, ( in a democratic country, may I remind you) in a village that you all pay taxes to live in. Jeezus H. THANKS FOR THE CONFIRMATION, DAVID. 

I want to thank David Israel for confirming on his blog that according to the UCO Bylaws, any member the president appoints shall be a member of UCO. When he appointed a renter who is not a member of UCO, he violated those bylaws.

He goes on to say Ms Kraus has experience in Wi-Fi and is therefore, an asset to their negotiations.   That may be so and I also agree that there is nothing wrong with getting help from outside sources. However, this does not give a sitting President the right to put that person on any committee.

I had no intention of bringing this matter up. I did so because I wanted to show the good people of the village the fallacy David Israel, and his cronies are guilty of when they accuse Dorothy Tetro of violating those same bylaws.  

It was Pat Sealander and Bob Rivera, who perpetrated this fiasco against Ms Tetro, but I want to expose the real culprit behind it.   When the petition to remove Ms Tetro came to Mr. Israel’s attention, he could  very easily have done the sensible thing and said to the petitioners, “This Petition is a legal quagmire. Dorothy owns and lives in two places and has only been away from her duties as treasurer a few weeks when she was on vacation. Her term is ending in March, Why bother?" No, David did not do this. He has made so many serious errors and misjudgments as President that he wanted to create a diversion to his many crimes and misdemeanors.
