To all Century Village residents. Beware that there are CREEPS slithering around our Village. Protect your backside, for that’s where they like to bite.

REALLY SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT!
This posting is in response to Lanny Howe’s post on David Israel’s blog yesterday. Please refer to item number 3.
What we saw was Payton Israel printed on the formal complaint.
I have written many times commenting on the accuracy of the postings by Lanny on Dave’s blog. Based on what Lanny has been writing in defense and support of Dave Israel, I accepted a slanted and skewed response to any subject that challenged what Israel has done during his 3 terms as UCO President. In my last blog posting I referred to anyone who resorts to devious, unethical, “dirty tricks” to demean and diminish an opponent is similar to the “CREEP” squad of the Nixon administration. Yes, Lanny, I did characterize you as the chief CREEP.
Why? In your posting, you stated unequivocally that Dave had nothing to do with filing a report about the campaign banner displayed on the fence of Aitz Chaim, and you further state that Dave signed his own name on the complaint. Lanny this is NOT TRUE. I saw the complaint form and it did have the name Payton Israel on the line designated for the complainant. The Code Enforcement agents gave us a copy of the original complaint.
So if one part of your statement is bogus, a rational person would think that the whole posting is also bogus. The first sign was placed on the synagogue fence and was removed by Code Enforcement a few days after Dave made his complaint. When I discovered that the banner had been removed, I spoke to the caretaker and he said that a person in a truck came by and took the banner down. I had absolutely no reason to believe that this could be connected to the “dirty tricks” CREEP group led by Dave Israel. I chalked it off to vandalism.
However, when the second banner went up, my neighbor was exiting the Village at the Haverhill gate and saw someone with a county truck preparing to take down the banner. My neighbor intervened and the Code Enforcement agent left the sign up with the proviso that the Richland’s would contact his office. We did, and set up an appointment for the following AM.
What we discovered was the fact that the Code Enforcement people would not have taken down the first sign because they were so busy doing County work. However, they were pressured to take the sign down because a formal complaint was filed.
This complaint Mr. CREEP number one, had the name of Payton Israel on it. Since we did not know that the placing the banner was against the code, and assumed that it was removed by vandals, we placed a second banner on the fence.
For your information the code enforcement people did not take the second banner down, I did. These people were very kind and considerate and understood the problems we were having with the CREEP squad. In fact, the code agent did not destroy the first banner, he returned it to us.
We know that what CREEPs do is underhanded and unethical. Dave notified code enforcement because he wanted to limit and harass his opponent. Yes, anyone with a “half a brain” knows this is what he wanted to do. Sadly, the unintended consequence of the CREEP teams activity caused the synagogue a great deal of aggravation.
THE NEXT THING THE CREEP SQUAD WILL HAVE US BELIEVE IS THAT SASQUATCH IS ROAMING THE VILLAGE TAKING DOWN BANNERS AND SIGNS.
