IS THE MAN TRULY LOSING IT? LOOK FOR YOURSELF

     David Israel has always had the reputation for being a screamer, a shouter of curses and foul words at people. He did and does not care who is around when he lets his mouth open and filth or strange things come out and he even does this on line as well. We have documented his writing on line that a Holocaust survivor should vanish in a puff of fire and ashes, he has ranted his out of order and sit down comment countless time in a maniacal manner and pounded that gavel of his for all he's worth. He has called Barbara Cornish a tart and a whore, her husband a piece of s**t and on and on. He has behaved in obnoxious behavior with Dan Gladstone numerous times and what about his witch

hunt of Dorothy, but this latest posting is unbelievable.

     Actually, it is two postings that send out a strong and clear sign of deteriorating mental faculties and a lack of control over his emotions and mouth, be it vocally or in writing. Because he has nothing constructive to say, David Israel harps back to a campaign that is months over and why? Because defeat at the hands of a new name was near and possible. Only by his machinations of a political machine did he come up with votes to win and by the way, NEVER let anyone see the originals of all the papers. HMMM....!!! So now he is conflating two or more events together - the campaign and Olga's right to speak or rather anyone's right to speak be they in opposition or not. He has censored our media outlets and now will not even include PRPC material in a packet for the delegates and why? Because he is upset with Honey Sager, calls her a liar, she ,who , whether you agree with her goal or not, is working for the benefit of the Village as she believes it to be and asks for no recognition or special privileges other than to be allowed to use the facilities of OUR Village, not David Israel's Village.

     That is bad enough but read the following and tell me that this posting response does not indicate his disrespect for woman and an idiotic or loony response to a serious issue at hand. This was posted on Elaine Brown's blog.

      Library Drop Box - Car Drop

Yesterday a patron at the Okee Branch Library left her car, w/keys, purse, and wallet at the curb and took a few steps over to the Outside Book Drop. Two young guys jumped into the car and took off. Vroom!

I do not know if the car was recovered, STAY ALERT AND CAUTIOUS. Park properly and lock up.

Roberts Rules, litigants, Defendants and Unlicensed Lawyers

Unlicensed lawyers abound in the UCO Committees. Starting with the UCO Fox and going all the way down to The Fox's Buddies. We did have a Roberts Rules Expert here for a long time, but he got disgusted with the the way the Chair was running things and so he quit.

I cannot believe that Israel is arguing that Olga and anybody else that wants to talk to the delegates cannot do so. The only voice the delegates are allowed to hear are those people that are approved by Israel.

I am not a expert on Roberts Rules, but there is a spot in the rules that talks about justice impartiality and equality. I quote as follows:

Here is how justice, impartiality, and equality operate in

Meetings:

the presiding officer doesn't take sides but

Allows all to be heard equally in debate. If the

Presiding officer wants to voice an opinion about the

Issue under discussion, the presiding officer relinquishes

The chair to another officer so that he or she can speak

The presiding officer and members should know

the rules and apply them judiciously. Correct only

major infractions. If members’ rights aren't being taken

away and an infraction is minor, raising a point of order

to correct the infraction isn't necessary.

The presiding officer ensures that all sides of an

issue are heard and that the rules of debate are

carefully followed. These measures prevent a small

group from railroading a motion through.

Members have the right to make a motion to

take a vote by ballot during a controversial

issue. A ballot vote preserves members’ privacy and

prevents possible retaliation for the way they voted.

Remember when Israel took the privacy out of the Voting, by making the Nays stand.

And of course Israel is conversing with one of his 3 com padres, there doesn't seem to be more than that.

DUMB DAVID IS AT IT AGAIN.

On his blog, he claims I was out of order when I attempted to speak during GOOD AND WELFARE.  He printed the last part or Roberts’s rules to inform people that only "GOOD" can be discussed during this part of a meeting – he intentionally left out "WELFARE."  For one thing, David did not have a clue  what I was going to say because he stopped me from saying it. He only assumed what I was going to say. For the record, I was going to correct a lie being dispensed by David and his henchmen. And, if I was going to correct misinformation, was this GOOD, BAD or was it WELFARE.   David says, I am not an attorney; he is correct, but neither is he. It  just so happens that whether it was GOOD, BAD or WELFARE, was a decision best  left to an Attorney, NOT DAVID ISRAEL. If he wasn't such a maniacal tyrant, he would have acted in a more presidential manner and followed Roberts Rules in handling this matter. He did not he acted like a two-year-old having a temper tantrum.

David says “WELFARE” is not included in Roberts Rules, only “FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER."

For THE GOOD OF THE  ORDER and GOOD AND WELFARE, are one and the same.

  

The UCO Fox is out

So what do you think the UCO Fox is up to with all those hours spent at his office tap-tap-tapping away? I will tell you. He is up to up to no good. He has a fear that we, as the so called malefactor group will hurt his little plan to have a lifetime time job as the here all and be all head honcho at UCO. The thing that surprises all of us is that this fear he has is palpable and can be felt at all his public outings.

Can you imagine that he has spent his precious time and our treasure attacking the Messenger club. This club exists only for the reason that the Fox is spending our monies, the Village monies, your monies as fast as he can.

First he blew through 5 million on the roadway repairs, now he is planning and getting ready to blow through another couple of Million for his Wi-Fi initiative (whatever that means?), and the roads will still have to be repaired.

And his attentions are Focused on the Messenger club and its meetings. Does that make sense? Is it productive use of UCO’s time? Is it his fiduciary responsibility?

Instead of following this lead blindly, use your head. Is this good for you? Is it good for the Village?
Will any of this make our retirements better, more secure, more content? Absolutely not.

Lets get on the road to get rid of this annoyance and put a real leader in his place.

DAVID ISRAEL:   a desperate man drowning to keep from drawing his last breath before sinking into mud.  

In one of his final acts of  trying to save his soul David has placed an announcement on his blog to keep the residents away from attending the Messenger Club meetings.   

 Like the ride of Paul revere who informed you the British was coming; the Messenger Club is also an “INFORMATION ONLY VEHICLE." Unfortunately, David Israel with the help of Eva Rachesky and Joy Vestal is trying his best to shut us down. Eva has refused to allow us to place an announcement in the clubhouse about our meetings. Joy Vestal has refused to put our meeting notice on Channel 63 and David, ON HIS BLOG, is warning people to delete the e-mails notifying you of Messenger Club meetings.  He is perpetrating another disreputable LIE by telling you that the e-mail from the Messenger Club is a commercial advertisement. It is simply a notice of the date and agenda of their meeting.

 Simple psychology will tell you that when any animal is threatened, they will viciously attack you to defend themselves. This is what David Israel is doing.

In his mind, the fear  of  the pending lawsuit against him and UCO is threatening his very existence and for this reason, he is fighting tooth and nail to shut us up.  Unfortunately, for him, his tactics will not work because TRUTH ALWAYS WINS OUT.

ME, PERES AND DAVID ISRAEL

     Read a very interesting article about Shimon Peres, the statesman and retiring President of Israel. While I may not necessarily agree with some of his policies, I do honor the man for his service to his country and the world and he is recognized for his dedication and service all over the world.
     So what could he possibly have to do with the title of this posting? Simple. It was found in the last few paragraphs of the article. It agreed with what I had been talking about, writing about, shouting from the rooftops, included in my mission statement when running for office. For what I said, David Israel pilloried me, claiming he knew best.Well, he didn't and he doesn't and he behaves in the exact opposite manner.
     Peres states that, "The most important feature of a president is to have the trust of the people." Well, folks, he does not and does not deserve that trust as he has led us down the path to wrack and ruin. What he does have is the ability to run a crooked power hungry Tammany Hall political system where the residents of the Village are terrified, unable to speak out because of fear of what he might do. Guess what? He cannot do a thing, just shout and scream and curse - as Shakespeare said, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."
     In addition, Peres also has stated many times that, "Presidents don't rule; they serve." Dear Lord in Heaven! How many times did I state that during the campaign. How often did we point out that David Israel thinks of the Village as HIS, not ours. He rules by edict, by fear, by denying civil rights and for sure, he  is no servant of or for the people.
     So maybe we should invite Shimon Peres here to the Village and he could maybe have a chat with us, a Town Hall but that will never happen as David Israel will ban it and Eva will go right along, like a good girl, mouthing that it is "political". Such is the depths to which we have fallen and   those who do not speak up against David Israel are culpable in what he has wrought, if not legally, then morally. Think about it, people, think about it.Don't just write letters and comments here and on Gary's blog, but say it publicly, aloud, loud and challenge his rule. Be there in the right place for the next election or even for a future recall situation.
     Bullies need to be put in their place. They are full of hot air but can wreak damage in their actions. A 5 million dollar debacle, a possible future debacle coming our way with this Wi Fi situation, poor planning and follow through, little contact with the electorate as he sits in that damn office almost 24/7 tap tap tapping away. He does not know us nor care about us, only for the residents of Davidisraelland. A man with no life cannot and should not rule the lives of thousands of others.
      

So where are CV rights being abrogated to?

Are we not members of UCO? Are we not entitled to all the UCO services? Just because some members are in Litigation does that mean the entire Association is banned from UCO services? Does the President have the right to declare this so? Who gave him this right? It wasn't the delegate assembly, they couldn't be so dumb and stupid. Its beginning to look a like 1933 in Germany!

First Olga was the denied her rights as a Condo Owner and delegate to speak at the Delegate Meeting. Now the Messenger club is denied for the first time the right to advertise on Channel 63 their club meeting. They are being denied by the "owner of Channel 63"  D. Israel. Is this right, is this legal? Just who is in charge of our information outlets? David Israel? I think not. Who is going to help take some action to stop this Penny Despot.

The fact is the invisible man does not have his facts straight, as usual. He is denying the Messenger Club access to Channel 63 because channel 63 is the information outlet for UCO. And the club is part of the UCO lawsuit.  WRONG. The operating entity of the Messenger Club and for that matter the entire staff has nothing to do with Israel's lawsuit and are not litigants. (The President of UCO is a litigant) The impossible thing is the managers of the Messenger club,  as is Olga are being attacked because they are friends of the litigants and as such are guilty by association. I repeat guilty by association. Nice.

So far the invisible man has banned, banished, and striked from the UCO roles at one time or another, the following CV residents. Olga, Ed G, Howie S, The Messenger club, My Village Blogger, Ed R. Reason for this? These people frighten DI and have the audacity to disagree with him.

I look at it this way: the only thing that is going to get done the next couple of years, or otherwise show progress in Century Village, is precisely what Mr. Israel wants to do. Nothing more; nothing less.

This Village is stagnated of total control by one person, -- the president. He controls all of the Committees. Ask Mr. Israel for a list of all of the Committees by name and function, the number of members allowed to serve on each Committee, and the actual number serving at this time. Don't forget to ask for the number he has personally added to each committee without authority.

Further, ask for the names of all of the CV residents serving on those Committees, and the Chairperson's name in each of the Committees. You can anticipate a negative verbal response, or no response at all. If he does respond, Mr. Israel may even demand that you put your request in writing, name what rule or regulation under which you are making such a request, and the reason(s) why you are making it. It is all a segment of his paranoid aspirations.

If you are successful, I think that you'll find that every person has been scrutinized by Mr. Israel and gauged strictly by their loyalty toward him, and the matter of -----WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR MR. DAVID ISRAEL; IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR CENTURY VILLAGE.
The mind-set of the people of Century Village who follow and obey this ogre is intellectually damning.

TALKING ABOUT PAVING

YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT PAVING AND SERVING ON UCO COMMITTEES? . . .

OKAY, LET’S TALK!

If I may, allow me to tell you what the President of UCO is really all about, -- all in secret, i.e. – the paving job.

I should tell you first that I have over fifty years of experience in the Architectural Profession.  I designed and field supervised perhaps 200 projects of various scopes and sizes that had bituminous concrete paving work involved ranging from residential driveways to six lane highways, to massive shopping malls.

It was strongly suggested to me that because of this experience I should submit my name to be on certain committees, in that I could perhaps provide needed information in matters of methods, means, procedures, designs, construction methods and a host of other things that might save lots of money and provide longevity of the work proposed, and perhaps save time.

So, I submitted the proper UCO forms together with the latest printing in the world renowned “Who’s Who in America” together with other information related to my experience and background.  My feeling was, at the time, that I’ll do anything I can for UCO, Pro Bono, because I was willing to give something back, as one might express after a long architectural career.

Two years in a row, I submitted my name.  The committees were Infrastructure, Bidding and Advisory, as I recall.  I was advised by three different people involved with UCO that David Israel personally rejected my name for any of the committees.  For what reason, I asked?  I was so taken aback that I respectfully requested such rejections by Israel to be placed in writing.  He refused to do that.  It is unimaginable, but all factual.

I can think of maybe one basic reason, and that is when at an Executive Board meeting, Ed Black made a strong presentation in reference to doing the paving immediately because of increases in petroleum products, start-up operations after a shutdown, and even borrowing about a million dollars.  I made a plea to David Israel and others at the meeting that what Ed Black was saying was absolutely not true.  David Israel shut me down and the Executive Board believed Ed Black with Israel’s full blessing.  You know what happened, -- disaster, total disaster.

What was done, and I should tell you that there is a ton of evidence in this regard, would, in the Architectural and Engineering Professions, be considered criminal, -- or at the very least, extremely reckless, grossly negligent and unprofessional.

What could I have done?  I think that I could have gotten a great deal done.  I would have recommended hiring an Architect, or an Engineer experienced in roadway work, and pay him about $75,000, or as much as $100,000 to produce a complete set of design/construction documents for paving the entire Village, obtain estimates of costs of all the work, including drainage, and then wait (if we needed to) until we accumulated enough money to do the entire job, plus 5% contingencies.  According to an Engineer’s report, we could have waited two, three or even four years, before paving would be needed.  The contract with the professionals would include onsite periodic inspections for compliance with the contract documents, field reports, dealing with governing authorities and other matters, all in the course of protecting UCO and the Village.

We could have gotten, in my considered opinion, a first-class bituminous concrete paving job and, I believe, for a lot less money.  So, what have you got now?   You’ve got a finished product that, if it had been done correctly, should last about 12 to 15 years.  My estimation is that a good deal of the paving will begin to fail in 4 to 5 years.  And, lack of proper drainage will be one major reason.

There is a lot that one needs to know about paving . . . and I mean, like schooling and much practical experience. I don’t know all that I should know about this type of construction, but I think that I could give David Israel, Ed Black, Rodger Carver, and Dominic Guarnagia a lesson or two.

David Israel has stated many times over, not only verbally, but in writing, that people in the Village with experience are badly needed, and would be welcomed.  Unfortunately, this is not true, because what David Israel states verbally and places in writing, does not conform to what he actually does.  The example above speaks for itself, --- a very costly example, I might add.

Are we in the Land of OZ?

So here we have the cowardly lion, its easy to block Committee volunteers when no body has a say. So here we have the tin man, no heart or soul. Need I say more. And of course there is the Straw man maybe he is the one with out a heart. There is nothing but good to say about Dorothy. David Israel prances around with his Attorny's face, with his Architect's face and of course as the resident Roberts rules expert. You can assign any of these characters to David since he purports to be our CV expert.

He is the Wizard, or is he the Witch? You tell me.

So lets talk about the need for Armed Cops or our own rent- a-cops. I think at the next delegates meeting we may come with our own armed cops and take the Wizard of OZ away for evaluation. Who, besides the cheer leader and his group could possibly object.

Just exactly what did Olga do, this time, to have the Wizard  try to shut her up. Is she not entitled to the 3 Minutes of free speech, as is everyone else? Because the Great Wizard holds a enmity for Olga does that mean he can take her rights away at a angry whim? Can this be allowed to continued? Does the Great Wizard of OZ have the right  to close down any delegate. Remember it was the Wizard who decided that we needed Volunteers for the committees, except he reserves the right to say NO to the most qualified. See Ed Ross's post

BOOKS AND LIFE

      First I would like to announce the formation of a new book club beginning in October, the first Thursday of every month, 10 - 12 in the morning and will be meeting in Classroom B in the Clubhouse. It will be called Read It, Chat About It. This club will work a bit differently than other book clubs in that we will not necessarily do many of the best sellers or the classics. Instead, we will be working with thought provoking and sometimes controversial topics. We might do a genre book session and not just one book. All will be decided for sure at the first meeting in October. However, if interested, please email me - you can do so at this address or simply post a comment on this posting and I will get it.
     This weekend I read two fascinating books. One is The German Suitcase by Greg Dinallo and the other is The Train To Warsaw by Gwen Edelman. Both are connected superficially by a connection to the Holocaust, but there is much more to the questions they pose and perhaps the answers they propose - or do not.. The German  Suitcase is easier to read. It holds your interest all the way through and you will find much of the reporter's touch in its writing, giving many facts which seem extraneous to the story, but they are there for a purpose, forming a foil for the other narrative, a story of humanity and inhumanity and its consequences.
     The Train book also has flashback and modern day, but almost in a fugue type or style and when one gets used to it, proves to be almost hypnotic in drawing the reader into the story and the reason behind their being or going to Warsaw in the first place. It asks questions that may not have any answers.
     One of the book states that journalists are the checks on the world's worst impulses..."the ones who give us pause when we think no one is watching; who call us to account when we cross that unethical or illegal line." Think about the times we are living in today and the near future. How more relevant can this statement be?
     I think that the first book that we will be reading for this club will be The German Suitcase. The Clematis St. library has a copy and we can ask Okeechobee branch to order it as well. It can be purchased on line as well and is a book one might want to own. We will discuss it on the first Thursday in November when we meet.
     As an aside, I like to think of myself as possibly following in that tradition in my own small way as I report on the world - at large and here in CV and raise questions that need raising, giving actualization to some thoughts.         So this morning I found out that I am being taken to task by Elaine Brown, of all people. She is one of the most annoying creatures that G-d has ever placed on this earth. A know-it-all with a big mouth, rude comments and behavior when sitting at the assembly and Forum and now it appears that her purpose in life is to scold me. Oh dear, oh dearie me. How ever will I withstand this?

     Well, this scolding was written in the David Israel style, a style that appears to be mandatory in Davidisraelland. It is just about illiterate, with no punctuation, no rhythm, no transitioning from one thought to another and just plain downright DUMB.

     So after this "martyr" came home from hospital she so devotedly attended meetings. I was there and her comments were actually of not much value with or without her accent.

And one should always get one's facts right before speaking or writing. No one is whining, you silly person; I am simply stating a fact: David Israel will not allow me to be seated on a committee. He is violating all rules of UCO, Roberts Rules and simple decency as well as adherence to the rights of people in a democracy. He has even admitted this on his own blog - that he will not appoint me to any committees.  So I ask again - who the Hell is this tinpot dictator and why is it okay for him to set up shop here in my Village, my home?

     Why do I not go to committees? Simple. This man is demented and I refuse to subject myself to his rantings and ravings, his abuse and the abuse of his also demented followers who have already cursed me out to my face and behind my back while he joined in with his damn gavel.
No abuse if there is no gain and no vote. You may be a moron but I am not. You and your fellow David Israel suckups may think it okay for your cabal to use foul language in public and not for anyone else, but I don't. Hopefully, they should not be used in a public forum anywhere.

 Oh, and as far as being open? Why was the door locked the other day when the Wi Fi was changed to 10:00? What was being planned in there that he did not want others to hear - another multi million dollar debacle?

     In any case, I would like to offer you the same offer I have made to your love, David Israel, and other of his illiterate followers - just call or email before posting, send me your proposed posting or statement and I will edit it for proper English, punctuation, usage, and proper expository technique - all for free! At least I should be insulted properly.

THE MONSTER STRIKES AGAIN.

David Israel acted disgracefully at the delegate assembly and nearly incited a riot.  After 30 seconds into my speech under GOOD AND WELFARE, he shouted for me to sit down. He refused to allow me to continue.   It is my absolute right under Roberts Rules of law and David’s own precedent to allow  residents three minutes to speak.   When he refused to allow me to continue, my “Italian Blood'” got the best of me, I said some nasty words to him and refused to sit down. He threatened to call the Law. I told him to go ahead.  His only choice to get out of an embarrassing situation was for the meeting to end abruptly, as it did.
     

 QUESTION:  Why didn't Marilyn Gorodetzer, who is chair of the advisory committee, tell Mr. Israel that I have the right to speak for three minutes?  She is frequently quick to stand up and tell someone they are “OFF TOPIC," but this time she did not say one word. Marilyn is a shill for David Israel and should be replaced as chair of the advisory committee for someone who is unbiased.

David Israel did another despicable thing at the delegate assembly. When the delegates voted to approve $25,000 to fix the “PAVEMENT “on the perimeter walkways, he forced the 7 or 8 people who chose to vote”NO” to stand up or else their vote would not be counted. (I was proud to stand - Gary)  It was more than obvious that the vote passed yet David wanted to show the audience who the “Nays” were.  This horrendous act was no different than the Nazi storm troopers  parading the Jews around with yellow armbands.  

DAVID ISRAEL IS A DANGEROUS MAN WHO MUST BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE BEFORE SOMETHING TERRIBLE HAPPENS.

The speech I was going to make at the delegate assembly is printed below: 

Some people are attempting to fool you into thinking that the lawsuit against David Israel and UCO is against the residents. They say because WE are members of UCO, we are suing ourselves. I will explain why this reasoning is absolutely false.

As residents, we are members of UCO, which is a non-profit corporation.  A corporation with an official elected body to represent its members, the residents - the same way the officers of a corporation are elected to represent their shareholders.   Elected officials are required to maintain their fiduciary duties to the members of that corporation. 

When elected officials breach these duties such as  signing  a one-page  contact for a five million dollar roadway paving job, we do not punish every member or shareholder of that corporation, we  punish the officials’ responsible and this is exactly what we are doing,  WE ARE SUING  THE ELECTED OFFICIALS WHO BREACHED THEIR FIDUCIARY DUTIES. We are NOT suing ourselves, the members.

What is it about Officers of the Corporation doing the wrong thing? What is it about the  misfeasance and Malfeasance of the of the officers that some of the  ess knowledgeable Delegates do not understand? - Gary 

Freedom of Speech, NO MORE!

It doesn't make sense. Why is it okay at the previous delegate meeting for Olga to read her explanation of the "suing yourselves" baloney and then not OK on the June 6 meeting. And to make matters worse is that she is admonished not to beg for money, which was not brought up at all. Probably because that is not a problem anymore. Everybody has to see this for what it is. Israel has taken away Olga's right to free speech, Olga's rights to be heard in Public assembly.

What should be worrying the rest of us is that this could happen to anyone of us at any time and at the discretion of Israel.

Olga is within her rights by any rules, Roberts Rules or the UCO rules, she had the right to speak.

So Israel's victims so far are Esther, Olga, and Howie. There may be more, but they are silent. Not by choice.

Another thought is that Israel brings out the worst in all of us. Look at  the Video. You will see a Mister Red Shirt Rabble Rousing. He has a big grin on his face as he leads the delegates in shouting down Olga. So the little clique is part of the anti-free speech group.

DAVID ISRAEL JOINS THE RANKS OF DICTATORS

Well, David Israel has now fallen into the depths beyond which there is only a well deserved Hell. There he will find the rest of the evil thinking and doing people who use a nefarious policy of group guilt, not that I think anyone was guilty of anything. Any resident has the right to speak at an assembly without being gaveled and shouted down. But in any case, because I am friends with Olga I am guilty, by association, of whatever he so blindly convicts Olga. Therefore, by his twisted and evil logic, I am denied my rights as a resident of this Village, as a member of UCO, to be placed on a committee, to have a vote.

     Where will he be and what will he say in the next election when he once again blathers on about committees?  Why was I not on a committee - because David Israel would not allow it.  How will he defend his own wronging of people in the Village, especially when he loses the lawsuit.

     David Israel, you are an evil, mean, vindictive person, not fit to be UCO President. You and your minions need to vanish - Poof!!!! Like that phrase? You used it on a Holocaust survivor, only you told him to vanish in a puff of smoke and ashes. How kind. How genteel.

Let's analyze a bit.  Have a good, hard look at the roadway/sidewalk paving fiasco.  One cannot deny that it was a horrendous job.  Take a look at the 29 areas of CV.  It is incredible, but true, that David Israel and Ed Black schemed to convince the Executive Board and the Board of Directors (The Delegates), that we should spend about 5.3 million dollars for such an undertaking that they knew so little about.

Set aside their motives.  And, how they plotted to get the money and leave UCO nearly flat broke, --is, by any reasonable, and professional standards, --  criminal.  Yes, CRIMINAL.

In any business, - any corporation with a Board, -- Israel would have been fired for sure.  But, there are lots and lots of people out there who don't care what he has done.  They still worship him.

And, you know something?  -- those Israel followers, and there are lots of them,  -- they'll let him do it again, and maybe a third time.  You've got to value the mentality of Century Village; it is so sad.  Let us go back to the Wordsworth quote.  Is it Israel's nature to want to understand and learn a few things from that passage?  I doubt it.  It's going to happen again and again, until you smite flat this man's controlling behavior and make him more conscious and in touch with external reality.

The people of Century Village elected him.  You know, --- the people of Germany, millions of them, cheered Adolf Hitler too, --- and Benito Mussolini received shouts of approval and encouragement; and, Hidecki Tojo was a wicked dictator that people believed; and, Joseph Stalin, who was responsible for killing more people than Hitler, by far, was considered "great" by millions.  David Israel, the stalwart elected by the Delegates of Century Village,  -- cheered by many, will not reach a political end, until the cost of living in CV becomes prohibitive.  It is going in that direction very quickly.  Then, and only then, will he be tossed from his throne.  

 

 All those people who love Israel will deny even knowing him  That, my friends, is living in Century Village.

Even Richard Nixon, the President of The United States, elected by record numbers, was later found out to be a "crook."  It may take a year or two or four, but the truth will prevail and it will come out, the extent of the damage Israel has done to CV.

 Read, once again, the last sentence of Wordsworth's passage.  Is that too much to ask?

CHALLENGE DAY FINALE

Due to circumstances beyond my control I will not be able to attend the Delegate Assembly on June 6, 2014. Though there are many important issues to discuss, including the recent spotting of a man trying doors to units in the Plymouth area, I regret that I will not be there to ask my question in person. The question?
       Mr. David Israel, please explain to me how it is that though you and your administration are constantly pleading for volunteers, a well qualified person for all the eight committees that were applied to has not received ANY answer aside from one tailored excuse. At least there was a modicum of civility there, but from you, David Israel and Toni, and Marilyn Gorodetzer and Joy Vestal and Howie O'Brien - NOTHING! So please explain to me how this process works, that a well qualified individual is stonewalled? How so many in the Village are denied a representation in our UCO administration? How is it that we do not even make an attempt to be polite and civilized and procedural in UCO responsibilities towards the residents of the Village?
     I am sure that there are many others in this position, either now or in the past and this will continue until we have a responsible committee seating procedure, one that is fair, impartial and orderly. Explain, Mr. David Israel, explain.
Answer, Mr. David Israel, answer. Or have you no answer that is acceptable and that would not lead you into a civil rights violation?
     PS. Do not say that you have to run this by the UCO attorney. This is the same attorney who is well known for giving you the answer you want, not the correct or legal one, the same attorney whom you acknowledged months ago needs to be replaced and you promised to do so, but as usual - all talk and no action taken. Why would you, when he does what you want.
     This is a simple question. Why have I not been answered and why have I not been appointed to ANY committee?

 AND THE IMBECILES ARE RUNNING UCO.

This is the conclusion I have come to simply because one individual with degrees galore, and plenty of administrative experience has thus far been refused appointment to any one of UCO’S committees. Time and time again UCO officials have gone BEGGING for people to join their committees. However, they refuse an overly qualified candidate.  Does this make sense, absolutely not?  Why then, would they do this?  I have my own opinion, but I would like the readers to contribute their ideas on why UCO committee chairs are refusing to allow an intelligent person to be a member of their committee. 

And then there is the President's outlook.  “You must maintain your power through consent, not coercion; you must respect the rights of minorities, and participate with a spirit of tolerance and compromise; you must place the interests of your people and the legitimate workings of the political process above your party. Without these ingredients, elections alone do not make true democracy.”

Without this there can be no legitimate UCO, David Israel's days are numbered!!

Lie: "Furthermore, to set the record straight, we are NOT suing ourselves; we are suing David Israel and UCO. Will our insurance premiums go up? If your condo is destroyed in a hurricane, are you going to pay for the damages or will you have your insurance company pay?  David Israel and UCO have damaged our roads, and it will be up to our insurance company to pay."  

Truth: If you sue UCO and it's officers, YOU ARE suing yourself. WE ARE UCO. We all are. David Israel and UCO did not damage the roads... The delegate assembly, sorry to say made the call not to pay the extra it would have cost to grind down the roads so the cracks would not come back. Went the cheaper way and now we have cracks. Notice in the last sentence of that particular comment, "it will be up to our insurance company to pay."

First, the lawyers will get their cut, usually a third... that's a lot of money. How is a third of five million blown away helping us? That is one million, six hundred and fifty thousand dollars kissed good-bye! That would leave three million, three hundred and fifty thousand left. If the roads get re-done the right way, what is left? Nothing! In fact it would most likely cost us even more, so where is the benefit? AND on top of that, the insurance rate would rise. No benefit. Except to the lawyer that will get his Bentley paid off.

The logic here is that the roads have to be done and somebody has to pay for it and that is us, the Village. But with this law suit the Insurance Company can be made to chip in and so lower all our costs -Editor

Bob misses the point. We are not suing ourselves. We are suing the leadership for Misfeasance and Malfeasance.  Yes I am sure the delegates had a say here, but the fault lies with the leadership. Israel and his board are just that, his board. They have a fiduciary and judiciary responsibility to see that the delegates’ are properly advised, which they were not. So the fault for bad decisions falls back on the leadership. This same thing is beginning to happen with his Village wide Wi-Fi initiative. Except this time there are watchdogs and we will not let him get away with it. Again!

As for the raising of the premium. Yes the premiums could go up and then again they may not. The choice is usually Company wide. Did they make a profit this year or not. If we followed Bob's logic Never put in a claim in.  Ridiculous.

If the case is won.

1) ALL THE EXPENSES THAT WERE LAID OUT WILL BE REIMBURSED TO THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTED.

2)THE TOTAL FESS THAT WILL BE PAID TO THE LAWYER BY THE PLAINTIFFS IS $10,000 AND THAT WILL BE REIMBURSED AS STATED ABOVE.

3)ANY ADDITION FEES AWARDED TO THE LAWYER WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE COURT AND WILL BE PAID BY THE DEFENDANTS AND WILL BE IN ADDITION TO THE AMOUNT AWARDED TO THE PLAINTIFFS.

Apparently Bob lacks the    understanding of the case even though he has heard this fact numerous times.

Its a pity that you say I did nothing for the village.  The people know what I have accomplished and some of it was recorded.  Now about being poor, you are right, I got broke when I was buying goodies for the volunteers of UCO,  The biggest cost was for the chicken sandwiches (you know who they were for),  Next I think if you want to go around and ask people what I have done (maybe you should get a seeing eye dog ),  I apologize that I will not be here for the June 6th meeting, because talking to my shrink he recommended

a dog for me,  (For security reasons because I am really parinoid  about people like you),  In closing when I

come back you and I could take a walk and see if we see the bad pavement  around the village, Have a good summer ,  Oh by the way my friends will send over some containers for the poor Johnny fund (all contributions will go to the wounded warrior fund in poor Johnnys name)

DENY, DENY, DENY YET AGAIN

     There seems to be a bad policy in this country that leads its government, its politicians and its citizens to deny what is right in front of their faces. It is on the same level of the little boy caught with the chocolate smear on his face who will deny eating the piece even with the evidence right there. It seems the rest of the world has caught on as well, much to the detriment of the residents of the world at large.
     Those in charge of the VA health system thought that by telling lies, either by omission or commission, about its functions and lists and care of the veterans that all would remain hidden and the "malcontents" who complained would be ignored. Well, so much for that.
     GM thought it could deny and lie its way out of the mess it is in and accused the plaintiffs and their "malcontents" of malicious speech and rumors and said they were denying the facts before them, that drivers were responsible for the accidents, not them. Well, so much for that.
     The government and NSA denied, yelled, shouted to the rooftops that they were not spying on American citizens, you know, the normal ones, not the terrorists. Snowden broke that one wide open and while I do not agree with all that he has done, he did force the government to admit what it had done. Me, personally, well, I had been saying for years that I was sure that we were all being listened in on and HA! I was right. Once again, the "malcontents" were correct. The deniers of NSA were outed. Well, so much for that.
     The European countries that expressed indignation at being spied upon had to yell out the other side of their mouth when their spying on the USA was uncovered. Hey, spying has gone on since the beginning of time and it was during the time of Elizabeth I of England that the first modern spy ring was established so, so much for that.
     Here, in CV, we evidently have the same deny mentality as they, those in UCO administration, complain about "malcontents". Well, so much for that. Read between the lines.
