Our Collective Voices Must Be Heard

I have had the privilege of being an officer of UCO.  The delegate assembly has reminded me of how important it is to think about who we are, and where we are going as a village into the future and to recommit ourselves as officers and residents.

This is an exciting time.  We have an opportunity to make a fresh start and make a difference.

We need an enthusiasm shared by all of us to make the change that will be challenging and constructive

Our voters are intelligent men and women and they know a leader when they see her.  Adding to the anxiety and worry about the next election do not continue to march to the same drum beat.

Sounds tough?  Be optimistic. After all this time of finger pointing and nay saying our voice is being heard. There are clear hard facts that our efforts are changing the narrative.  We are shifting public opinion and making progress because we are on the side of right.

Talking about issues is important to us and the more we are heard the more we are strengthened and minds are changing.

Yes, words matter, facts matter, and most of all public opinions matter. Here what we are saying.  Your voices as one united will get it right. Together we can reclaim the promise.

Vote for Esther. We need The Clarity and cleanliness! Dirty Politics just don't work.

THE BROCHURE

     So I was right. Everything and more that I predicted David Israel would write in his brochure is there. The man is predictable, as are his weaknesses. So let us look at what he perceives to be one of his strengths. He claims to be an expert on the bylaws. I will not dispute that. After working for four years in his position as president of UCO, he should be aware of them. But that is no big deal, as the bylaws are always there to be checked and in fact, should always be checked, before making a decision. But what is even more important is that ,WHY, IF THE MAN CLAIMS TO BE AN EXPERT IN THE BYLAWS, WHY THEN, DOES HE BYPASS THEM AND IGNORE THEM SO OFTEN? Need exampes? Again?

     There is always a learning curve, and I am sure that David Israel at age 17 had to get on that learning curve if he were to succeed. But why are we talking about age 17? Do you really wish to go back that far? Okay. So at age 18, straight out of high school, I was accepted to a special student program to work for the government and did so, working for the Defense Department  for that summer and into the following year until college demands were too time costly. Are we really going to duel on teenage years? Are you for real? As for security clearance, there are many, many levels so let me ask this of you, are you on the same level of clearance as Snowden? Oooh, that would be impressive.

     Go back over your record here and see what you have wrought.  High deficits and a budget which has some money in it now due to DOROTHY and NOT YOU NOR ED BLACK NOR BOB MARSHALL. You were ready to sign a WIFI contract which turned out to be defective in company, ability and scope, costing more money than you let on and all issues not clear. When you were asked about the cost of the five year contract you said, "Oh, no one asks about that. " in so many words yet when asked about the Cable Comcast contract and its increases every year for five years you said, "Oh, that is normal. They are simply planning for inflation." Things are right or wrong. They are not relative when it comes to the financial health and wealth of the Village and its residents.

     David Israel, where are the hard copies of our records? Where are the back issues of The Reporter? Where are the notes of Betty Lapidus? What is the password to the cloud and will you leave the cloud intact and give me that password when you are defeated or will you sabotage everything? You wanted everyone to affirm that they will live here for nine months - well, I am asking that you affirm that you will hand over all information, computers, and paraphanalia and data to the incoming slate and president in perfect condition, easily accessible and complete in its entirety. If you will not so affirm, then why should anyone believe a word you have to say.. I would like that affirmation published on YOUR BLOG in nice CAPITAL LETTERS TOO.

     So, anyone care for a debate? No? Oh, well, guess there is nothing you can say aside from the same old same old which is not what we need here in the Village.

HAD ENOUGHT OF THIS NONSENSE. VOTE ESTHER FOR PRESIDENT.

DOG DAYS OF THE CAMPAIGN

     It seems as if the pace of the campaign has slowed to a more reasonable tempo, but the tension is mounting. It is of great importance to the future of our Village that we pick the right slate, the right officers, the ones who value truth and honesty rather than dark secrets and hidden meetings. We need the administration that will face our problems head on and try to find ways to conquer them, and believe me, we have problems, particularly with money. We have problems with the way that UCO has been conducted over the past four years, the nastiness, the backbiting, the throw people under the bus mentality, the pettiness and the meanness, all epitomized from the top down. 

This being the last month before elections, it is the time when David Israel will come out with his trifold colored brochure contained in the Advocate package. A great deal of gloss with many lies within. I will bet that there will be no mention of the mess of a $5 million dollar paving job and the awful floods and pathetic drain system we now have. We will hear of no mention of the fact that they knew it was a poor job from the beginning and did nothing about it - oh, yes, excuse me, they did - they immorally, and perhaps illegally, certainly violating UCO bylaws, moved money around and spent money trying to get an unneeded and poorly fiscally thought out line of credit. But you will see nothing of this in the brochure. As far as the money on haNd, that is thanks to Dorothy Tetro who insisted on paying in the funds, fully funding them. If it were left to David Israel, Ed Black and Bob Marshall - we would be in the same lousy fix - almost bust again! 

     You will see boasting of WIFI and computerization. But
WIFI in the buildings have moved ahead because INDIVIDUAL buildings have done so and WPRF has installed at their facilities so what has David Israel done? Nothing, except try to get us involved in another multi million dollar contract which was no good again, from the start. As for the computerization - really, he has uploaded into the cloud to which HE controls the password and he cuts people off if they displease him (All hail to the despot). He has shredded and/or hidden hard copies of these records and it is your guess as to what he will do when he loses this election. I know what I believe he will do! 

     He will boast of things he had little or nothing to do with or projects that were carried on from prior administrations. I am sure he will boast about Obama's visit to the Village. Well, David Israel, that is thanks to the Democratic Club - not you!. His public service announcements, as he calls them, are placed on HIS PRIVATE BLOG - you know, the one that was supposed to be open to the Village and not restricted to the party faithful! His supposed Initiative is sent only to those who he wishes to keep informed. Hmmm.....wonder why my husband does not get it though he has requested it often!. 

    So be careful when you read of his supposed accomplishments and his supposed view toward the future. If he has not done good till now, if he is not open and transparent now - then why would he be in the future? If he has been fiscally irresponsible all this time  then why would he change? The answer is HE WILL NOT CHANGE and so he must go. In addition, as David Israel pushed his so called experience over that of mine, please note that my experience was in ADMINISTRATION, and CEOs from Fortune 500 companies are always moving and taking their administrative skills and talents with them, no matter what the specific business of the company. My experience comes with me. I worked with huge budgets; I worked with various groups of a community; I wrote proper POs and scanned contracts to within an inch of their lives to be sure that we were getting the best that we could. What did he do? Most of his UCO experience comes automatically with being President, so please do not be amazed at the so called years that he has. He went into the position with barely anything on the administrative side - and does it show!
    
     So we are asking that you evaluate all the information that is out there, attend the meetings where I can talk, listen, ask questions, be open minded and do not be afraid of any threats. Free country, am I not correct?! Vote for a slate that has new ideas that are quickly stolen and taken on by David Israel and thus we know that they will appeal to people. Vote for the slate that will run meetings and UCO with civility and open mindedness, with a willingness to talk with each other. Vote for the slate that has so many people endorsing it.

   VOTE ESTHER FOR PRESIDENT. VOTE THE SLATE. VOTE FOR THE VILLAGE.

LANNY HOWE, DUMB & DUMBER

Intelligence is the ability to think outside the box. It is the ability for a person to figure out various ways to come to the same conclusion. Lanny Howe has proven once again that he does not have this ability.

 When a posting on this blog said Lanny was David Israel’s campaign manager, Lanny protested on Davids blog that we were not telling the truth. However, If Lanny had any intelligence; he would have also come to the conclusion that being one’s campaign manager does not have to mean “Campaign Manager” in the literal sense. It can also mean that Lanny supports David unequivocally.  The word “Campaign Manager “was not meant in the literal sense but in an allegorical sense.  So Lanny, you may not be David’s campaign manager literally but you sure do kiss his-s.

It’s time you get with the program and stop denying what is being proven on this blog. You say we offer no proof of David’s malfeasance. You must be obviously blind or too stupid to understand the written evidence posted on this blog. C’mon Lanny, get off that high horse you’re sitting on – the poor thing is taking a crap, and the stench is gravitating right up to you.

Fingerprints all over it!

Let's talk about Israel and his recall of Dorothy Tetro as Treasurer of UCO.  YES, IT HAS ISRAEL'S FINGERPRINTS ALL OVER IT.  He used people to push it right  along while he hid behind them.

Israel is a smart and cunning person who knows every sneaky and corrupt trick in the book.  After the recall hearing, he was well aware of where this recall nonsense was going.  NOWHERE.  Israel was ready, however, with his fall back plan that he kept secret from his minion.  But, after hearing what the Inquiry Board's Chairman, George Franklin, had to say to the Delegates about the Board's recommendations, Israel knew instantly that if a vote was taken, it would have been overwhelmingly in favor of dismissing all allegations against Dorothy Tetro.

It could go no other way.  Israel would have looked like a bloody fool for carrying this vendetta on for about five months.  His campaign would have been in shambles, or at least severely damaged, even more with the realization of his ineptitude in being able to carry out his devious acts of revenge on Dorothy Tetro because she knew too much of what Israel and Black did with CV's money.

He tried to discredit Dorothy with slander, libel, propaganda and other acts of a mean-spirited dictator. All of that didn't work so well for him, so he takes it upon himself to lighten the criticism upon himself, but, HE HAD NO RIGHT, PROTECTED BY RULES, TO STOP THE DELEGATES' VOTE.......NO

RIGHT WHATSOEVER.

So, he lets his sycophants hang out to dry.......his two main followers, Sealander and Rivera come off looking like an idiot and a  moron, respectively.  To Israel, I'm sure, they're expendable.

What dirty trick does Israel have up his sleeve now, and who is he going to hide behind to implement it?

People of the Village......know that Dorothy Tetro put her heart and sole into the UCO  treasurer's job, and you can talk to anybody in the know that she has done the job with efficiency and perfection.  After a day's work, she'd take more work home with her to either Oxford 100 or Cypress Lakes in order to deal with potential and real problems created by the UCO President, and the huge mess that former Treasurer, Black, had left for her.  Her job was like 6  1/2  days a

week.

And, Dorothy deserves a Recall put together by Israel, to stop Dorothy from digging into the illegalities that Israel allowed and sanctioned while Black was Treasurer?  That, fellow Villagers, is a total disgrace.

She's not a quitter, by anyone's standards, but she's just about had it with Century Village people who have a way about them to sit back and just watch and do nothing about a paranoid dictator who breaks rules, regulations, laws, customs, principles, standards, and whatever else his ego demands.

Under such current leadership, and with Israel's agreeing cronies, Dorothy seriously wonders what is going to happen to the Village and its once welcoming and friendly living conditions.

VISION IS AS VISION DOES

     It is amazing how blind we can all make ourselves when we truly do not wish to see what is so clearly there in front of us. Lanny chooses to disremember his closed door  meetings with David Israel, chooses not to see the proof that has been laid out in front of him and the whole Village showing the dirty hands of Ed Black and David Israel with the financing of the so called paving job and chooses to dis-remember his own apologistic writing on behalf of David Israel, trying to excuse his egregious "errors", if we are so inclined to call  them and his poor supervision and administration over a great many aspects of UCO administration.

     Whatever the reason, whatever the vision, it is quite well known now that David Israel has fallen down on the job, fallen down on his responsibilities and is now trying to build a new history. I know there is a great trend now in historical fiction in rewriting history and obviously David Israel has bought into this trend but history and fact cannot be denied. The messes David Israel left behind for us to try to figure out how to fix are here, clearly evident and even his so called "wonderful" achievements of computerization have their dark sides as he cuts computer access off to those who dare to disobey the Wizard's commands and who knows how if and when we will gain access to all the information he has stored in the cloud without any hard copies left.

     It is the sign of a great and wise man who knows when his time has passed. David Israel, try to be that wise man now and step back from the messes you have left us. If there is anything left inside you that truly cares about the Village and not the power, then step aside and volunteer your advice in fixing things up and maybe that can help. Maybe. Do not think that everyone does not see through your pathetic attempts to show care and concern about the residents of the Village and how suddenly you have become oh, so reasonable and set aside the recall hearing about Dorothy that YOU set in motion even though all kept telling you there was only a month left so what the hell are you trying to pull!!!!! Now you use the same reasoning and cancel it after wasting all that time and money and the imposition of cruelty and trauma on Dorothy. Your true nature has come through
.
     Time and time again I have put my hand forth, asking that you join in together so we can help our Village and all we got were innuendos, blatant lies and filthy accusations and vocabulary. All we got were nasty remarks by your minions, sent forth to take the heat for you. All we got for our offering of a hand in peace and an offer to debate was a childish tantrum how you would never debate "her". Hey, here is another chance. The Messenger's Club has offered me a speaking spot - come share it with me in a debate. There is still time.

     Our theme is unity and teamwork. We wish for all factions of the Village and its political networks to work together. Sure, we disagree on items, some large, some small, but we all agree that the Village is primary and everything can and will be worked out. Remember, it is not the title that does the job but the TEAMWORK. Come be part of that teamwork and spare the Village from any more nastiness and bitterness that you have sown through it already. Join our vision, the true one, the reasonable one.

My name is Bob Rivera. I am angry at a bunch of closed-minded people who would not allow my organization to lead the 5K March in the village with our motorcycles. I am a member of “The combat veterans Association”  We were originally  asked to take the lead in the 5K  run, but it appears when the CLOSED-MINDED  STUPID PREJUDICE NAYSAYERS  discovered we would take the lead in our motorcycles; they decided it would be hazardous to our residents – they referred to us as “a motorcycle gang” That made me mad. It made me so mad; I decided they were not going to get our $1,000 donation.    I am also removing myself from photographing and writing the story for the UCO Reporter – I’ll show them.

Proof Positive - Scandals #7A

Secretive and illegal dealings 

Your attention is directed to SCANDALS Part 7. In the last paragraph of that factual accounting, I made mention of the possible need for a SCANDALS Part 7A in order to complete SCANDALS, Part 7. Additional data has been uncovered which emphasizes the backroom, secretive and illegal dealings that the President, Mr. Israel, pulled right in front of your noses. He might have been trained to do just that.

Understand clearly, -- monies were used for paving roadways and sidewalks that were never approved or budgeted by the Delegate Assembly, otherwise known as the UCO Board of Directors. Budgeted monies have been approved by the Delegate Assembly for a specific use. Approval for use other than as budgeted is necessary. Accountants have required documentation for any change to the budget and this information should be available from minutes of a meeting when changes are approved.

Dorothy Tetro, the elected Treasurer of UCO went on vacation toward the end of May 2012 to about the middle of June 2012. While she was away, the President, Mr. Israel, under a cloak of secrecy, -- electronically transferred $80,000 into the Road Reserve account; $30,000 taken from the Ambulance account and $50,000 from the General (Dues) account. This electronic transfer has a paperwork trail dated May 31, 2012, and it is signed by David Israel and Robert Marshall. It is clear that Mr. Marshall agrees with everything that Mr. Israel dictates.

It appears to be very clear that all of this backroom secret dealing was the work of Mr. Black, who, you may have observed, never puts his signature to anything involving dollars.

So, the total amount of money raped from these seven accounts now comes to $1,150,632. That’s correct, -- over a million bucks.

It was Black’s convoluted scheme to use every single cent that he could manipulate out of these accounts, and he was bold enough to do so because he had the backing of the President, Mr. Israel, himself.

Frequent payments were being made to the paving contractor, each payment $100,000 or more and at times the UCO Road Reserve checking account would have been overdrawn by thousands of dollars without the infusion of these illegally transferred dollars,. This was the shell con game – the repetitive shifting of monies to make up shortfalls; to offset negatives.

And, there is Mr. Israel looking out at all the Delegates with a shellacked smile on his face and saying nothing about the illegal shifting of over a million dollars of our money and the keeping of these dealings top secret. He’s looking right at you and lying to your face about how well the paving job is going. What do you do with such a person, -- elect him again?

Folks, this is more than just a SCANDAL.

DESPERATE MOVES ARE GOING ON......

     Running scared, are we? the David Israel campaign has now taken some desperate steps to stay in power. Finally out from his not so secret position as campaign manager, Lanny Howe is spouting excuse notes for David Israel's awful errors in judgment, still refusing to man up and accept blame where it belongs. He is now adding in methods how to guarantee your favorite person wins by using sneaky voting tactics. I guess there was no time to sneak in a Peter Amato this time around so now we hear talk about bulleting and Joy Vestal as VP. Really? VP AND CO-EDITOR?????? Wow, we are reaching a bit aren't we, David Israel? Is there anything in the Village you do not want to control?

       And of course we have the newly restyled David Israel, the one who is oh so concerned about the welfare of the associations and the residents. We have him boasting about the project from the Dept. of Water and Utilities. Well, guess what? HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. It was the Water Dept. project as the pipes are theirs and they know this must be done. He mentions other projects as belonging to him or being done because of him and it is the same blatant lies and fibs. You know, the ones along the lines of - No, the paving job was a great job. We now have great streets and roads. Ooops! Oh, well, that was just another car splashing thru the new lake we have provided for the Village. Yes, I know, it is in the middle of what used to be a main drive thru the Village. Well, nothing is ever perfect, right, Lanny?
     We also have the suddenly stepped up meetings with the associations. Suddenly there is so much concern for them, right? Correct, right after I suggested that we show more concern and provide more aid and closer ties with the associations. We have David Israel spouting that the associations show great concern about WiFi. David, get with the times. Our residents are more concerned with our roads, streets, financial standing, you know, the itty bitty things that make our Village what it is. WiFi? That is not the main concern. Apartmnet units, yes. WiFi, no. Either separate buildings are putting it in or associations have decided to forget about it at their pools due to the criminally high costs that they are hearing from the company who wishes to install it - you know, DSL, yeah, that's the one. Wellington Federation inquired and voted it down. WiFi a main concern? No, David Israel. It is your concern.

     People have lived through four years of neglect, mishandling of money, nasty comments, secret investigations of residents via the internet, the destruction of records and the secret cloud storage you have and your annoying habit of turning off officers' access when they are not automatons in obeying your commands. They are tired of the yelling and nasty comments heard in UCO. They are tired of the sneaky bypassing of bylaws and the mishandling of money. They are tired of  lack of access and input into the running of our WPRF facilities. They are tired of your violating of the sunshine laws by not announcing meetings of certain committees or by cancelling them until questions that have arisen cannot be answered in a timely manner. They are tired of your ridiculous and mean vendettas against people, such as going after Dorothy Tetro when her term is up in a month! What a waste of time and effort. What abuse to a woman who has dedicated hours to the betterment of the Village.

     People want a Village that is unified with one goal in mind - that of improving the Village, one that will restore its glitter and glow, restore its financial welfare and figure out how to get us out of the mess you have left us in. We want a Village where that is the goal we share, the most important one we can share. Other differences can and will be worked out to the best of a possible solution and situation for the resident of CV.

Time for a clean sweep. Keep what is valued and valuable and elect the new and fresh, the clean air that will allow for clear and honest thinking. Vote Esther for UCO president.

PS. Little Gracie, sorry to disappoint you, but am not totally insane. Gee, wonder if that is considered libel? Hmmmm....Get in the spirit of things already, Gracie. Wake up and smell the cup of coffee you do not want to have with me. Oh, well, we can always have it in my office in UCO.

The Big Stooge

THE STOOGE

Lanny Howe, is now in the forefront of being David Israel’s primary stooge.  Lanny has set out to offer an excuse for the paving mess David created. He believes he is next in line to replace Jay Leno on the tonight show. His biggest joke is telling the residents that David’s road paving fiasco is a minor error – a small mistake that cost the residents only five million dollars. Isn’t that the best joke you’ve heard lately? It appears that besides being the next Jay Leno, Lanny has also become David Israel’s clack and campaign manager. He’s trying hard to make us laugh away our anger at the fact that soon we will have to pave the roads again and if David is in office, it will probably cost us another five million dollars- only thing is we don’t have another five million dollars. Then What?

LANNY HOWE HAS GONE MAD.

He says there is no fiscally responsible way the village could have contracted for the perfect solution to have the storm drains carry off the rainwater from everywhere. Now, besides being a comedian Lanny is also an engineer. He says that to have storm drains carry off rainwater from everywhere would be a massive project amounting to almost rebuilding the entire village. Really  Lanny? How do you explain the fact that the rainwater problem was better before the road was paved?  And since, as you say, there is no perfect solution to the problem, why did we spend so much money to fix a problem that could not be fixed?

Lanny is turning a blind eye to David’s corruption. He gives accolades to David yet he neglects to discuss the rotten job that was done with the paving. He says things happen and sometimes they come out less than perfect.   Fiscally responsible Lanny?  How about a  F—K—G contract with a guarantee and a bond. David signed a one-page contact to do the paving.   Are you Mad Lanny?  Have you become a raving maniac like David Israel? It’s time for you to wake up and smell the rot in your house. The stench is abominable.

P.S.  If I were you Lanny, I would have second thoughts about replacing Jay Leno.   

SHE'S BAAAACK!

      Sorry, David Israel, your vacation time is over. I may need a few extra legs to lean on, but I am back and ready to march unto the fray once again. So what is all this I am reading about the excuses we now have about all the messes and mistakes you have made during your terms in office? Lanny, your apologist, pleads that it is okay, everyone makes mistakes and he is correct - up to a point. YOU never admitted to making a mistake.

YOU never admitted to doing the whole roads and paving project incorrectly. YOU never admitted to moving funds around and yet there are the vouchers proving it. YOU never admitted to making an error in the Comcast contract. YOU never admit to anything, like how about paying for those armed guards? Or how about the ridiculousness of a recall situation a month before a term is up? What about the waste of time, energy and money in that? I know you got your jollies grinning away in the balcony but I believe your grin was a bit sour at the end of the day.

      Lanny, your apologist, admits that maybe corners were cut in the paving. Maybe supervision wasn't all it could have and should have been. MAYBE???? REALLY!!!!!! Did you ever see a person build a house of $5 million value by putting up the roof first and then hiring a huge set of fans to blow on it and keep it up while the foundation was then dug out and put in place? Obviousy not, so why are we expected to take as a logical excuse and reason that the roads are collapsing and flooding because the sewer lines underneath are rotting from age. Unless you are Con ED and pave and then dig up (joke for NYC people) one knows to fill in the infrastructure first and then build up. THAT WAS NOT DONE HERE! Tell that to the swimmers all over the Village who cannot get out of their homes due to flooding and who did not have that problem before.

     What the hell did we get for out $5 million? Well, we got crappy roads that are collapsing, sewers and grates that do not work, swales that are off, perimeter walks that are cracked, deeply and dangerously, and a near bankruptcy experience that will all take YEARS to fix up. Quite frankly, I am not sure how long this mess clear up will take or how we are to properly finance it. It will take a great deal of research, thought and careful planning. It will take sacrifice on the part of the residents of Century Village as we try to fix your mess ups. does that make you happy?

     David Israel, the cesspools have all been opened up and the reek is leading straight back to you. You had your minion call me a piece of shit as well as other lovely names - well, this shit is coming to hit the proverbial fan and you are right in the path!

Man up, admit that you can and have made mistakes. I fully expect to make some errors and will own up, but trust me - never will they be in your neighborhood.I guess you won't care as I guess you will be busy in your gondola with your private gondolier rowing you to a WPRF pool so that you can use your WiFi there. Enjoy!

Most residents of our Village are old enough to remember the late 1940’s and can call to mind the headlines appearing in the news papers describing the world wide confrontations between two former allies, the United States and the Soviet Union.  The Cold War was a psychological war, a war of words between two super powers.  In contrast, a hot war, is a shooting war, with Korea and Vietnam as examples. The goal of the old Soviet Union was to expand its control over territories that were vulnerable to its appeal.  The United States adopted a policy of “containment.” This policy was designed to prevent the Soviet expansion where ever its tentacles seemed to be probing.

What we are now experiencing at Century Village are scenarios very similar to what had occurred in the late 40s.  Instead of the national news media reporting and criticizing, we have two blogs.  One that has no restrictions as to who can post a view, and the other that limits its membership to 100 satellite subscribers only.

  This blog can be accessed by anyone with a computer, however, when the content of most of its postings are based on opinion rather than reality, and the managers of this blog refuse to allow any challenging responses,  one wonders which side of the “Iron Curtain” they are residing in.

I have tried to maintain a modicum of objectivity in all these mechanizations, however, when I read a response, that was posted on the restricted blog, about an article I wrote for the Century Village paper, I was unable to respond to the absurd interpretations to my article.  In the world that I function in,  fair play counts  for something  not where nonsense is on parade.

  Radio Free America, was established for the purpose of transmitting to those behind the Iron Curtain, the world news to those trapped in the eastern European zones of Soviet occupation.  Well, here in Century Village we have our own Radio Free Village, it’s the alternate blog that accepted my response without reservation.

Recently the “News Speak” blog, struck again when they reacted to a banner that was placed on the fence opposite the Haverhill exit to the Village.  I am reminded of  an apropos  comment made by Albert Einstein about the fallout to this banner. Einstein said: “Small is the number of people who see with their eyes and think with their brain.”  This was a simple banner announcing the candidacy for UCO president, period.  What was seen was not the message, but the colors used on the banner, and that it was on a fence where a religious place of worship was located.  These people clearly have been shaped by their thoughts and have become what they think. Small minded, bigoted, and intolerant of anything that is not consistent with their “party propaganda line.”  This attack is like a poison that hurts. It is designed to separate people, to distract from the real issues that are at play here in the Village.

For those people on the other side of the “curtain”, they have confused dissent with disloyalty.  They are what we refer to as the “Loyal Opposition.”  Loyalty to those who have served should be respected.  For those of you that remember the Wizard of Oz the leader sits behind the curtain and uses his  lieutenants to do his dirty work in an attempt oust a loyal member of the board.

During the Cold War, the leaders of east and west did meet to attempt to resolve the issues that kept fueling the Cold War.  Twice, during the recent delegate assembly, someone asked if a debate between the candidates for president was in the works.  This query was deftly ignored.  I wonder why?  This is disturbing to me since it has been impossible for one of the candidates to use any Village forum to meet and greet potential voters, but the President does have access to the “Bully Pulpit.”  One of the corner stones of a democratic society, is free and open elections.  Debates are part of the process. Let each candidate present their views, and let the voters decide.  

OH GRACIE, GRACIE, GRACIE, MY POOR AMAZING GRACE

     I knew you missed me. Here I was, sitting here in the rehab, wishing myself home, when lo and behold! there it was! A posting by my amazing Grace. Well. obviously you are lonely and need to hear me call you friend again, so ok, my friend, want to go get that coffee? we can get a nice one here at the Morse rehab?
    I am sorry to tell you that your thought processes are still not so amazing, dear Grace. Go with the tried and true? For Pete's sake, even people outside of the Village who have picked up on this see where the truth is at. Tried, but certainly not true. Tried, yes, to move money time and time again without being noticed. Too bad, so sad - that didn't work. Tried, yes, to lie about the paving job and even Lanny Howe got into it trying to write an excuse note for David, but I gotta' tell you - walk past the area across from the laundry building and these people are swimming out their doors, not walking. That never was before, but thanks to the tried and not true - we have  a new lake. Name? OH, How about the David Israel Lake with Ed Black side ponds? That might do!
     And how about Anitra in the Reporter, trying to write her excuse note about the WiFi and misinformation that was given out previous to this article? Really now? How dumb do you think people are? Do you think they do not notice all the lies, all the garbage and the excuses? And as for "I am only a renter" - crap! She runs the show there under (dare I say it) the guidance of her mentor, David Israel so what vote is necessary?
     Do you think, my not so amazing Grace, that people do not realize that suddenly, a month before the election, after the abysmal farce of Dorothy's hearing , after hearing all the ideas that others have brought up, after all this, suddenly David Israel has blossomed forth with new ideas and a new beautiful flowering relationship with all of PB government levels? C'mon, no one just fell off the turnip truck! Maybe, you, ok. but not too many others. Only you and the others who are swallowing David Israel's version of the Kool-Aid.
     Does David have a new form of laxatives that help loosen up the logjam in his head? Does he have a new medicine that will help clear the ridiculous Cheshire cat grin from his face as he had on at the hearing where he sat in the balcony and watched his plans shatter to pieces? All his so called sudden ideas, from working with associations to infrastructure, to fiscal year restructuring, to working on the whole Village infrastructure - been there, done that. Do I really have to dredge through all the garbage of his statements and show you how they followed quickly upon our statements? Dear, dear, Gracie, see the light, follow the Grace, and come over to the right side. Only good ness awaits you and on the old side - well, figure that out for yourself, my amazing Grace and by the way, coffee is still waiting and so is more of the writing as soon as I am sprung from my rehab. something for you to look forward to, yes?!!!! And by the way, Lanny, how sad that you use your writing skills to keep trying to bolster up the faulty structure that is David Israel. How sad that you slip in an admission of ok, so there are things wrong, but so what? Yes, all people make mistakes and that is ok as long as there are no immoral reasons behind it, no swelled head egos, no NSA attitudes better left behind. As long as people can admit their mistakes and not repeat them because then they are not mistakes, but purposeful misuses of public trust and funds.Read your articles again and see if you, too, can see the light

Academy Awards

Well Lads and Lassies ye have no idea how excited I was to see Mr. Israel posted the ...............bogus inquisition on the second website ( cause only exclusive members are allowed on the first, which by the way is LITERALLY FOR THE BIRDS, WINK WINK.

I almost fell over backwards when Pat Sealander announced that the board of inquiry was chosen by Dave Israel himself. Well hey now that is in no way shape or form biased! NOT!  Oh and in case you missed it they only had ONE behind closed door meeting. Well Patty me girl I was born at night it just did not happen to be last night! Do you seriously expect me or any person of sound mind that you and your underhanded felonious friends only had one meeting or discussion about this matter. C'mon!

I am fascinated that this meeting under the pretense of being open BUT should anyone open their mouth with  questions, protests or GOD FORBID truths they are threatened with repercussions. So why in the hell did they hold this meeting at all??

 Stating that Ms. Tetro would be held to a one year jail sentence and a 5K fine. REALLY because Ms.Tetro  exposed more criminal activity by Mr. Israel and he and Bernie Madoff could be bunk mates for a long time. I'm still not shaking in my wellies over this considering Mr. Israel's infractions. He should get life.

Ms. Sealander then tried to present Ghost Witness's and thankfully the chair rebuked them as they were not there or had legitimate signatures. But the bottom line is that anyone that had a sliver of intelligence would realize that this charge was simply conjured up by Pat Sealander and her cronies ( wink wink) and is mute. Just wish she would be mute cause  anything that came out of her mouth was pure BS...

I think the lads tried to be fair but that could be acting as well because with all movies you need supporting roles and I for one am not convinced this was a not a staged production. I  am of the opinion that Pat Sealander did not make a point but she has an ax to grind..

I unfortunately found that some of the women on this inquiry board were either silent or had a pre -determined opinion and therefore felt it was ok to sleep through the proceedings. Hey Mr. Israel just needed bodies and if its no big deal then I can take my afternoon nap anywhere..

Bottom line is that Pat Sealander proved nothing. Dorothy Tetro held her ground and handled her ,.... inquisition like a champ ,she kept to the topic, has nothing to hide.

Bottom line is this Ms. Tetro is a resident of Florida and if she has one residence or ten she is still a resident of Florida and where she votes or pays taxes from is of no consequence.As stated at the meeting there is no requirement.

Why is Ms. Sealander  obsessed with  what was said on "the other blog" cause truth hurts?? Oh and by by the way Ms. Sealander  anything posted on that other blog is public information,

And if Ms Tetro held a private meeting to protect y'all then you should be thanking your lucky stars

 Ms. Tetro followed the guidelines of a CPA on electronic banking and thank the Good Lord she did because there is proof that Mr. Israel took advantage while she was on vacation and  giving him access to the bank accounts would be the same as giving a junkie the keys to the medicine chest. Lets face it  Mr. Israel is a scoundrel. And WHY are there NO meetings to hold him accountable?

Part 2 the Haters Series Continued

This is the second part of the History of the Recall Committee of Dorothy Tetro. We will go over the charges. Trust me it won't take too long, most of the charges are frivolous and many do not make sense.

Charges 1 thru 3 attempted to cast doubt on where Dorothy lived and when and for how long. The fact that for tax purposes she used one residence does not in any way prove that residence was the residence she lived in all the time. As a matter of fact, for tax purposes she could of used a post office box as a address and the IRS would have been good with it. We can thank Pat Sealander for this stupid attempt.

Charge #5 wanted to know what was the purpose of Dorothy running for Treasurer and selling and buying property's. Her answer was in the beginning I ran for Treasurer only. I had to intention of moving or buying property.

#6 had to do with Pat Sealander's made up charge of secret meeting with the Bank, with no minutes and no reports. Ridiculous. In conducting regular business  Dorothy would close her office door. Usually the bookkeeper was present.

#7 Complained that Dorothy did not follow Dave's lead to electronic-size the Banking. The fact here is that Dave asked twice and Dorothy responded that she wanted to follow the Accountants directions. Dave says ignore our Accountants and do it my way. Need I say more?

#8 This was Pat S. complaint that Dorothy must of leaked financial information since "False Libelous, and defaming info showed up on My Village Blogger. So my question is are they facts or not? They are Facts and anybody could get them and print them in My Village Blogger, just by asking. This is part of the open window policy we all want and approve of. We would be better off, with no acrimonious remarking if we got rid of these people.

Snarly Hatred Abounds Part 1

So what happened at Dorothy Tetro's Board of Inquiry? Would you believe that this whole thing was a travesty and so unfair and so wrong as to border on the criminal? Would you believe that the insanity went on for over 60 minutes?

To start with George  Franklin tried to be fair to Dorothy, But the haters, and you could smell the hatred coming off the dais and also emanating from some of the audience who wouldn't allow it. You could hear them snarling.  But we must give Dorothy credit. She came prepared and ready to go, when ever she was given a chance,

Pat S,  who arranged for the petition and who saw to it that two of the early board members assigned by David Israel were disqualified because they had signed the petition, so their attitude was certainly not bias in any direction except against Dorothy. And talking about bias, what about Pat S. She set up the petition and and her unrelenting hatred for Dorothy permeated the whole auditorium. 

There were 8 charges all of which Dorothy answered with considerable patience, fortitude and frankness. Actually I think there were 7 because  one of them was about so-called witnesses that decided early on not to press there views. So they didn't show, so Pat S said she had their "depositions" not sworn of course, but George insisted that Dorothy had the right to face her accusers over Pat S's angry snarly declarations to the opposite. 

George Franklin advised the audience that there will be no outbursts, no questions, and no input from anybody except the Board. So immediately Marilyn God..... jumped up from the audience and started to berate the Chairman. He trying to be polite could not shut her up. 

Dorothy complained the photographer was taking to many pictures of her and must stop. This person then started to argue with the chairman to the  point that what he was doing was his right. And of course the editor of the paper jumped up and screamed that he was a certified photographer and therefore he could do what he wanted. Dorothy's request was ignored.

All of this in the interest of fairness and justice!

When I first entered the auditorium I noticed our erstwhile leader seated in the Balcony and grinning like a Cheshire cat. After all he orchestrated this Farce.

So without continuing with this reporting suffice it to say that in Dodge City this type of activity would of been called a lynching. In Salem she would of have been burnt at the stake.In today's Court it would of been called a Kangaroo's Court. In the CV Board of Inquiry it is known as Fair and Just.

What happened to the Election Committee's argument, that since we are always short of talent we have to use it where ever we find it. Who could deny that Dorothy is probably one of the most honest and talented Treasurers we have ever had?

This is only Part 1. More and more shocking is to come. See how the charges don't pan out, see how the charges have no validity, see how the charges are basically made up (probably by the haters)

February 7 the delegates will vote for the recall of Dorothy Tetro. The majority of them have not had the benefit of hearing the testimony which clearly showed that Dorothy is not guilty of these trumped-up charges. Dorothy showed proof at the hearing that she became a co-owner of a property in Oxford BEFORE selling her apartment in Wellington.  She later became a co-owner of a home outside Century Village but has always maintained property in Century Village. 

The question of where one sleeps or where one votes or where one files for homestead is a legality that only the courts can decide. It has no bearing on the fact that Dorothy has served us as treasurer every day except for the times she was on vacation.

To recall Dorothy one month before her term expires is the real crime.  To subject her to these frivolous and misleading charges is saying to her’ “Dorothy, we don’t care how much money you saved us- we don’t care how much mishandling of our money you exposed or how many hours you worked at the UCO office, we’re just gonna throw you out. 

This is not the way to treat a person who has worked as hard as Dorothy  and received nothing in return;  NOT ONE PENNY.

The real crime is this recall. And I say we must not allow Dorothy to leave UCO with the stigma of being removed from office.  We must support her and show her that we appreciate everything she has done for us. 

We must vote to keep Dorothy.

OH BE JEAYZUZZZ

Well as ye all know Esther has been a bit down and out and her arse kicking leg is under the weather but I'm sure it will come back strong. In the meantime I took the liberty ( because after all this is a free country)  of doing a bit of snooping or as my ancestors would say a bit of Sherlocking and I must say I have been laughing my arse off all night and I'm thankful I don't have dentures because they would have flown out while reading Dave's blog and cost me a fortune to replace.

I find it absolutely amazing you cannot get on his first blog because it was limited to 100 people ( or cronies). What is amazing to me is that there are 100 people  have been  duped by this and hopefully they now realize they need to call the techno grandchild and have themselves deleted. OOPSIE I never existed on  the blog. Help me, I'll give you money for college....

Secondly if ye want to be on the NEW AND IMPROVED blog you need to give all your information. Name, Address and Tellie number. Are you fricking kidding me??? I don't need Mr. Israel's cronies showing up at my house, calling me or privately spreading false truths about me. But then again I might because I need to keep my wellies in shape and Arse stomping helps with that for some reason.

The following are some of the other things that had me bursting my britches.

Lanny made a post about voting with bullets, by the time I finished reading it I wanted  to do something to Lanny with a bullet.

Elaine could put any sane person in the mental ward with her posts and who in the hell would want to live to be 100 if you had to listen to her dribble. Shoot me now! Is she serious about the " shout out for finding a bank that takes unrolled coins ? Cause they are heavy and rolling them is an arse ache. WAHH WAHH WAHH. Bring them to TD bank and take a shot at how many and you can win a lollipop!  Moving right along to flushable wipes.. while in the meantime posting a ham sandwich recipe? Gotta give her Kudos for multi.....whateves.

But her sleuthing is incredible! She clearly has two good eyes that do not see. Maybe if I cap this she will get it . I'm not optimistic but I'll give it a go. ELAINE GOOD JOB ON FINDING PUBLIC RECORDS ON WHERE DOROTHY LIVES ( CAUSE  DOROTHY WAS CONCERNED YOU MAY HAVE THOUGHT SHE WAS IN KANSAS) BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER REMAINS THAT DOROTHY FOUND MISMANAGED, DWINDLING FUNDS IN THE VILLAGE ACCOUNTS AND WHEN SHE DID NOT TURN A BLIND EYE AND STOOD UP TO THE RASCALS INVOLVED SHE BECAME A FOCUS OF A PERSONAL ATTACK AND AS I SAID ON SOMEONES BLOG I COULD GIVE A FIDDLERS FART IF SHE CAME FROM THE MOON BECAUSE SHE HAD THE BRAINS TO DISCOVER IT, REMEDIATE IT AND THE BRAWN TO EXPOSE IT. YOU GOT THAT ELAINE, YOU PICKING UP WHAT I'M PUTTING DOWN OR ARE YOU THE SNOWMAN HITCHING A RIDE? MELTING YET CAUSE YOU ALL NEED A SPOT OF TEA AND THE WATER IS LOW. AND WE ARE ALL LOOKING FOR YOU TO DO SOMETHING USEFUL!

I know my Catolick ( Irish for Catholic) ancestors would have there there hair raised about this next point  especially because they think only the Irish Catholics go to heaven but the post about Dorothy's recall made me feel that I was reincarnated and living in any of the following places under dictatorship China, North Korea, Russia,  Northern Ireland, Cuba, Nazi Germany, Viet Nam, Haiti, Africa, Venezuela ect. "There will be no discussions or questions from spectators" REALLY????  THEN WHAT IS THE POINT OF MR. ISRAEL'S RECALL MEETING? OH, I GET IT WITCH HUNT !BUT THE FACT OF THE MATTER REMAINS THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY AND EVERYONE THAT LIVES IN THE VILLAGE OR EVEN OFF THE PREMISES FOR THAT MATTER, BOUGHT A PLACE THERE, PAYS TAXES THERE ( EVEN IF THEY RENT OUT THEIR PROPERTIES) AND HAS RIGHTS. GOD GIVEN RIGHTS ELAINE AND ALL OTHER CRONIES! YE CAN THANK YOUR LUCKY STARS THAT I DID NOT ATTEND THAT MEETING CAUSE GOD BLESS THE JACK ARSE ( AND MAY HE /SHE REST IN PEACE) THAT WOULD HAVE TOLD ME I COULD NOT ASK A QUESTION OR MAKE A STATEMENT.

I only have one request and that is come to your senses people before my dream of seeing the Village People come and perform while directing you all to the local YMCA comes true...VOTE FOR ESTHER!

The Ringer has Gonzo?

There are, by the taking of a straw poll, just about 200 Delegates and Alternates that desperately want to get this man of very little respectable character out of the office of the UCO  presidency.

There is a RINGER, who is a part of the small Israel gang of cohorts, that has provided information that Israel has indirectly informed those followers to shy away from responding to anything stated on My Village Blogger, the free and open Blog.

Why?....was the question.  It was figured out and confirmed that Israel and his henchmen can only lie and deny and not intelligently and honestly respond to the remarks and questions posed to him and others.  What a revelation!!!

A "RINGER," should you not be aware of the meaning of the word, --- is a spy who  has made inroads with an inner group, --- gets specific information, and then passes that information along secretly to other people.  Mr. Israel, is, no doubt, unaware of who the RINGER is, and he would be shocked out of his pants if he knew.

There certainly is a silent majority out to topple him from his throne.  I hadn't realized that he has made so many enemies.

I think that the RINGER is now gonzo, but that's the way it crumbles, the cookie, that is.  There is another person who Israel has insulted who may come forward, --- we'll have to wait and see.

The Illegal Recall

Illegal Actions by these few people jeopardize all of us.

We are advised that the people that are running our Treasurers recall are Planning in doing it in such a way as to be illegal and Judicially illegal. Please, people, don't think it is alright to break the By-Law rules. Be advised that there are consequences to this illegal action. And the Consequences will be Judicial and will be personal. 

Be advised that David Israel and Pat Sealander will be held personally responsible for breaking these By-Law Rules as well as any other co-conspirators and/or perpetrators.

Those of you that think the by-laws are there for their personal pleasure and can be used and modified for their own uses are in for a big surprise and disappointment. 

The By Laws must be followed to the letter. That is the only right and just action. Those that do not follow the law will be punished.

Remember the way out of of this type of thing is to throw the culprits out. Vote for Esther!
