IS BACK WITH A VENGEANCE!
After a peaceful week on the
beaches of Puerto Rico, I have returned to keep you up to date on the
shenanigans of David Israel and the Reflection Bay Wannabe.
David Israel was quick to
post on HIS BLOG an erroneous leaflet stating that the fight against
development of the golf course was lost. Ladies and gentlemen, this is NOT
TRUE. The case is NOT LOST the suit will continue. The judge merely asked the
Plaintiffs Attorney to amend the development
order which the Attorney is already preparing for filing within the
next 20 days. This was only a mild setback.
The case to keep the golf course in perpetuity is NOT DEAD. It will continue as
long as the residents support their desire to keep it alive.
Jean Dowling, Jim Reed and
his daughter were the culprits that handed out these erroneous leaflets stating that the lawsuit was dead.
The leaflets were distributed at the entrance to DUCK ISLAND on the day the
Proactive Residents Projects Committee Inc. (PRPC) held their BBQ. (Handing out
leaflet on WPRF property is a violation. I wonder why no one chased them away.
)
Oh Yes, let us not forget
David Israel and his wishy-washy stand on the development of the golf course.
One day he’s for development; the next day against it. He just couldn’t wait to
post the lie about the demise of the golf course without first checking the
facts.
My sincere belief is: IF THE
RESIDENTS OF CENTURY VILLAGE WANT TO KEEP THE GOLF COURSE IN PERPETUITY, AS
PROMISED, IN THE ORIGINAL DEED, THEY SHOULD CONTINUE TO SUPPORT THE PROACTIVE
RESIDENTS PROJECTS COMMITTEE. THEY SHOULD NOT ALLOW THEMSELVES TO BE SUBJECTED
TO THE MISLEADING AND INACCURATE INFORMATION BY THE FRIENDS OF THE DEVELOPERS.

Olga read Our Village blog, Dave posted both sides of the issue before you unloaded, and he did it with balance and class, nice.
ReplyDeleteIt is my pleasure to inform you that Dave posted the other side of the issue AFTER he was informed by a member of the PRPC committee that the information he posted was incorrect. He never verified the information BEFORE he posting it on HIS BLOG.

Dave doesn't have any class. He's a surreptitious narcissistic bully whose only claim to fame is being President of UCO.

ReplyDeleteWelcome back from vacation. Hope you enjoyed it. Thanks to whomever told Dave that his posting was incorrect and that the battle is still on. It appears that Dave is willing to throw in the towel - and probably has been for a long time. a fifth columnist in our midst? Is there no way to bring up the issue of the leaflets, especially as Olga's leaflet was confiscated. Goose and gander anyone? I must add that I was perturbed by the anonymous post that expressed a nasty comment to you. Keep that person off - at least we can insist on civil comments. Also interesting that Elaine posted on this site yet one cannot return the favor. I would love to be able to post a response sometimes on Dave's site but apparently we are blacklisted. Please keep us posted and again, thanks for the info on the golf curse as before the corrected posting I was quite upset at the thought that we had been thrown out.

ReplyDeleteElaine, I am surprised at what you say since other postings have been allowed and if that drop dead comment was allowed then why would your posting be disallowed? Surely it could not be worse than that! And yes, Olga has some strong words as in " surreptitious narcissistic bully" but to be honest, Dave does come across that way i.e. when Olga's leaflet was disallowed but the leaflets of Dowling were allowed, contrary to WPRF rules. Why was that? It raises the curiousity of many people and their suspicions as well. In today's realpolitik too many things have undercoatings of selfishness and self aggrandizement and especially if one cannot respond to a public positng on Dave's website .......well, there is quite a bit of room there isn't there? I will still maintain my main statement and belief that I have been saying all along. We need transparency in the administration and have not gotten it and I don't care who is the President of CV - we need that transparency. We also need civility and drop dead messages are not that by a long shot. Again, why can we not address each other in an open and fair hearing, throw out the shouters and hecklers and talk like decent human beings. Sometimes all you guys are worse than my middle schoolers ever were - in fact, most of the time.

DeleteYou are so right - we do need transparency. A funny thing happened on the way to David Israel's forum at the Palm Beach Post recently. In one of his speeches he preached "TRANSPARENCY" loud and clear. It's like I have been saying all along. He preaches one thing and does another. I wonder when his groupies are going to wake up and realize who the real David Israel is.
Love your forum remark. I was wondering about that but was not sure who had spoken about transparency, so could not comment but when you look at it, it is sadly very funny. The hypocrisy in today's world is amazing. Olga, some people never wake up and Dave, when you read this, I truly admire some of the innovations you have done but c'mon, answer some questions openly and honestly. Be a big boy and admit or explain whatever needs to be admitted to or explained. They even do that in Congress sometimes.

ReplyDeleteJust to set the record straight. David Israel stopped allowing me to post on his blog when Gary's blog went online. He sent me an e-mail that stated as long as I had Gary's blog, I no longer needed to post on his blog.
Wake up and smell the roses Elaine. David is a dictator who is deathly afraid on anyone or anything who opposes him. This is a serious character flaw which makes him unfit to be president of UCO.

ReplyDeleteTransparency, I get emails of all meeting minutes. What else do you want??? You complain just to hear yourselves complain. The village never had so much openness as it now does and why would you, Olga, want to write on the other blog when you have your own??? I have never seen so many comments taken off Dave's blog as I see on this one. Are you afraid of opposing opinions????
ReplyDeleteGrace you don't get it. Dave says you must register to comment on his blog. This means if he don't like your address or comments, you do not have access. Gary says sign in with a name and be polite and you will be published. What you see is the same Anonymous poster each time,refusing to show himself. Daave stopped taking Anonymous commenters because he got many of them
DeleteGary...you don't get it. THERE IS MORE THAN ONE ANONYMOUS!!!!!!! Bad taste is one thing, but not everyone likes to have his/her name in lights.

ReplyDeleteYour idea of David's transparency is sending out e-mails of notices and meetings - mundane stuff.
My idea of transparency is to notify the residents before signing a 2'3 million dollar paving contract. This is REAL transparency.
It is because of the shallow thinking of people such as you that David has been able to get away with as much as he has.
David does not allow people with different views to post on his blog, whereas Gary welcomes them.
As it should be, both blogs do not post anything that may be considered libelous or profane.
Anonymous is another word for coward.
