SEND DAVE TO WASHINGTON

      This morning I had an aha moment. Why not send Dave to Washington where he can join Ted Cruz and other Tea Party jerks in an effort to subvert the government? Great idea, right?!

Those Tea Party infants have been throwing a tantrum about the Affordable Health Care Law which has been a law for THREE YEARS and decided to now hold the government and the country hostage in a bandit attempt to get their way. Never mind that there was such a demand for this by the citizens of America that the site crashed. Never mind that it seems what so many people have been waiting for. No, it is not perfect but nor is this a perfect world and we have to do the best we can and fulfill our responsibilities.

       So now let us look at the parallel with CV. We now have our own version of Ted Cruz at the helm of our government and he, along with his few followers, have been holding the Village hostage to their desires. Were we to take a door to door census in December when most people are here, I bet we would get a resounding NO on the wifi and other issues when they were explained openly and honestly. The problem is, that MR. Secret Agent Man does not do things that way. He obfuscates; he smirks; he encourages bad mouthing and attacks at meetings; he turns around decisions by Rod Tennyson, purportedly UCO's lawyer whenever he wants; he screwed the whole Village on the insurance with Priority 1 when he defamed the company AND HAD TO WRITE A WRITTEN APOLOGY FOR ACCUSING THEM OF RAPING A COMMUNITY. Yes, those were his words, not mine. He insinuates that his opponents are dangerous  and mentally unstable people all the while HE is the dangerous one.. He rants and raves on line, bashing a club because he believes it will reveal truths, encourage discussion and fresh thinking among the Village.

         He is trying to shut down debate at the delegates assembly by setting up a quick motion , a seconding, and a vote, cutting off any discussion for fear of what might come up. People, stand up for yourselves. Vote him out for the sake of the Village. Show the world that we are not a bunch of old fogies who let tyranny rule us. Show the world that we are a caring community for all our members and not mutter asides that the problems of the elderly elderly struggling along below the poverty level are not our problem. Yes, that is what was said at a meeting when the cost of wifi came up. Ah, but I forget - we will be showing them computer emailed pictures of their grandchildren sent to them by their children who don't care about them and who never had bought their parents a computer, but still they sent pictures of grandchildren. Yes, people, this is the level of thinking in our present administration. Show them that we are brave and forward and progressive thinkers, that we still know how to work the system and do things properly. Bring in a fresh sweep to the administration, one with no backroom deals, with no obligations except to the residents of our Village. Show Dave that his day is thankfully over and the nastiness and sniping and barking at people, the opaqueness of his government have done enough damage. VOTE ESTHER FOR UCO PRESIDENT. Talk to your delegates. Help us to help you. That is our only goal.
