So to look at this correctly you must compare apples to apples, expenses to expenses and income to income. The budget must be analyzed with actual expenses, not with estimated expenses, which seems to be the way the smart boys are doing this. Then to holler alarm, the budget is going up, woe is us, increase in dues and fees are coming.
Take this for instance. Using the
Proposed UCO 2015-16 Budget report. The 2015 Budget calls for an expense of
$7,145,000 add to that the $188,000 collected for WiFi, which is not shown, and
you get a total of $7,333,000. From this number we subtract $6,470,000, which
is the actual spent expense and you get $863,000 as a overage, extra monies.
From this, add the estimated expense in the budget of $670,000, which is
overage. You get a total overage, extra money in the budget of $1,400,000.
This extra cash should be put in
the 2015 budget, which will lower our fee for that year. Will they do it? What
do you think?
Probably not. What they will do is
hang on to this and use it for WiFi. Then the Great Orator will announce to us
that his Memorial WiFi, library and NASA remembrance is fully paid up, or at least paid up to the
$1 or $2 million charge.
And we will have paid for his
WiFi, all illegally, all done with no vote by the delegates as to approval or
denial.
Bad very bad. This can be stopped.
The delegates can stop it.
Vote NO on the budget
Vote No on the Wifi sneakiness
As far as delegate voting, they should vote NO on the 3 mandates for the WiFi. We need more information. We don't know exactly what it will cost or how long to will take.
As for the Budget, knowledgeable Certified and License Accountants have looked it over and say it is overstated. Until this gets rectified you must Vote NO on the budget.
Right now with no budget passed, Israel is trying to get a assessment passed for which he has no legal right.
UCO cannot assess!
Vote No on the budget
Vote NO on the WiFi 3 costly points
