The problem here is that the Little man is Pompous, Arrogant, and Angry. It looks like he will stop at nothing to embarrass or discomfiture the Malcontents. Which have grown from 3 little people to a mob that is beginning to number in the hundreds.
The arrogance of this man and his #1 henchman, Ed Black, is their nerve to complain that the Delegates Voted against his wishes. They voted the 2015 Budget down. Ed Black even has the Arrogance to detail in a posting on the Very Private Blog the details of the 3 committee members that voted NO on HIS budget.
Now is the time for a recall!
Lets get rid of this Guy!
Lets get rid of this Guy!
The minions are working on a By-Law change that would make it dificult to recall without at 100 names or more on the petition. Are they Kidding?
MOB RULE ?
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting to note Mr Israel's reaction to the results of the vote on the budget and the
previous vote on his WIFI project.
I see that Mr Israel in his usual form has branded the delegates who voted against his proposals
as malcontents and winning by mob rule. I for one am appalled at his comments. But I can't say that I
am surprised. In both instances the people spoke and spoke loudly .
To brand the delegates as malcontents and a mob is an insult and offensive to the delegates who
have their constituents best interests at heart.
Rather than defend the proposals with facts Mr Israel resorted to the only defense he could
muster. That is to attack the delegates with unfounded and paranoid allegations of a “malcontent”
conspiracy plotting to derail the operations of the Village.
To resort to name calling and attempting to smear the opposition with insulting and demeaning
comments is something we in Century Village have come to expect from this administration.
The failure of the budget and the WIFI proposal are an indicator that the residents of the village
are getting fed up with the high handed arrogance served up by the current administration.
The budget is probably the most important task of UCO. It's failure to pass the delegate
assembly can be seen as a failure of the administration to do what they were elected to do.
The question asked by Mr Israel in his post on the village blog about what is being
accomplished by all this can be easily answered. Mr Israel accomplished nothing. The delegates
succeeded in sending a message that they are not happy with the current state of affairs and indicated
that perhaps it's time for a change.
The next vote should be a recall to remove Mr Israel from office and replace him with a
candidate who would serve the village with democratic principles.
The score is now two for the “malcontents” and zero for Mr Israel.
If a recall vote goes against Mr Israel that would make it three strikes .
Isn't it a great American tradition ….. THREE STRIKES AND YOU ARE OUT ?
