COMCAST Problems

Surely other resident's have found themselves in the same situation as myself....Having had to replace my original TV, I now have another HD, flat screen TV, which was hooked up to the Original black box, provided, as per contractual obligations, between ourselves & the above.  Years ago, I did purchase another HD, TV which of course is connected to an additional box, geared to providing the correct reception, at an additional monthly service charge, which is acceptable, however, at this point in time, since technology has changed, and the TV's of the past are obsolete, as well as the original cable boxes, why should other's including myself, be "forced" to accept.

My point being, why should any of us, who find themselves in the same position, be obligated to pay additional monthly charges, when technology has changed, and the initial box provided does not.  Will they (UCO) wait until the current contract is up?

  1. Not sure of what the problem is and I am not a techie - just live with one and the grandmother of several more - but we upgraded a while ago to some xbox of Comcast and we are very happy with what we get and their service appears to have improved, do not get that one moment please anymore. As far as being forced to accept something, we are never forced, it is only that things change and in order to be compatible we have to adapt as well and some of this comes via the federal gov't and their rules. the only way one will be forced to do anything here will be if Israel and his cronies get their way with his secret and underhanded plans for forcing his vision and version down our throats - and that will never be, not if I and many other people have anything to say about it - and we do and plenty too!

  2. Nobody forces anything down the throats of the Delegates. Remember Esther, the delegates vote and have the final word. Why try to start a problem where there is none. It was the delegate assembly that voted no for WiFi, not UCO.

  3. Grace your denseness amazes me. Stop your paranoia and just read and think for once in your life. The problem is that no one but David Israel and his puppets want his idea of wi fi. We all have what we want and need and I must say, after yesterday when United was down and the NYSE was down and the Wall street Journal was down all from "technical glitches" uh huh! -being all techied up is really not looking so good. Proofread your ideas before you write. Perhaps you can actually find some intelligent things to say and stop concentrating on trying to put one over on me. I am too clever for you by half, Gracie girl, so give it up.

  4. Grace,
Stop showing that you are a brainless wonder. Your comments show your extreme ignorance. Perhaps you and your friend Peter (THE MORON) should take a long vacation so that we do not have to listen to your nonsense and his extreme stupidity. You both are an embarrassment to CV.

  5. Kindly stick to the subject...My question is "Considering all new TV's are HD, & Flat Screen, why should we be require to pay a monthly charge, for that box..( in addition to the $33.odd dollars included in our UCO fee's) The set I'm referring to is a replacement for my Original, which had expired...Years ago, I did acquire a HD TV, ,which required a HD box, at an additional monthly charge, which is not a problem, however, the VP in charge who interacts w/Comcast, should be aware of the changes occurring in the industry and govern himself accordingly....
