A candidate
running for office of UCO recently approached the president of the democratic
club to speak at one of their meetings. They were turned down. The reason given
was the following: “I am afraid that if
I allow you to speak WPRF will take our meeting room away from us.”

This is not the first time, nor do I expect it to be the last time, that we have heard this. It is the same when people say "I would love you on my committee but David....."
