INVASION OF PRIVACY
Security
guards are periodically coming to the pools to check your id. This rule has
become a nuisance to many residents. It is my understanding that this rule was
initiated because there were cases of
minor disturbances with visitors using the pools that did not live within the
village. Is this a serious problem or is
it just another nuisance rule created by WPRF? Do we really care if a resident
has a visitor, and they decide to use the pool for a day without getting a pass? Will this force us into chapter 11? Must we have Gestapo like guards coming around
every two hours invading our privacy? I
don’t think so. If it ain’t broke folks, there is no need to fix it. When there is not a disturbance at the pool,
there is no need for a guard to check your id. As long as the pools are open and accessible WPRF
does not have the right to invade your privacy.
UNLESS THERE IS A DISTURBANCE,
security guards do not have the right to request your ID at the pool.
