I want to thank all the people who voted for us and everyone who helped in our campaign. Unfortunately we did not succeed. The village now belongs to David Israel and his supporters – they now have COMPLETE CONTROL. Century Village West Palm Beach will no longer be a democracy with dissension.  It will be an enclave of fifteen thousand residents run by one ruler and his supporters. This is what the Delegates have chosen and this is what the residents will have to live by.

I want to thank Esther Sutofsky for having the courage to run for President. She took on a powerful adversary, David Israel.  Being a complete unknown Esther managed to gather 112 votes.  This is a testament to her ability to have served you as a great leader had she been elected.  I regret that the delegates did not have the foresight to appreciate her ability and give her the opportunity to serve us.

Esther, I am so proud of you for taking on David Israel. Most people would have said “NO” when asked to run but not you. You chose to fight, and that takes a tremendous amount of courage. I thank you. We all thank you, and we wish you well.

Well. D-Day is almost upon us, decisions are made, and we know that we have done a good job. We started out with the intention of working to make this Village, our home, a better place - now and in the future. It was a tough fight, denied venues of speaking, working against a well oiled political machine, but we did it.

     Thanks to the hard work and dedication of so many people, the best wishes and donations that came in, the offers of help, we continuously tried our best and we know that tomorrow we - and the Village - shall prove triumphant. If you are a delegate, please make sure to vote for Esther and team. To our supporters, come join us at the polling place tomorrow morning.

     We extend an open invitation to ALL Village residents who have the interests of the Village at heart, to step forward and join us. Lend your skills to the Village as we work to shine it up, to make it the best we can. Drop an email to UCO after the elections and let us know what your interests are.      To all of those who worked so hard on this campaign - I cannot thank you enough. This is not the place to name names as I will inevitably leave out someone and inevitably some people who still haven't learned will come up with nasty things to say about you. DAVID’S SHIP IS SINKING.

David Israel and his supporters are drowning in their own slime.  They are desperately making a last-ditch effort to fool the residents by evading the truth and printing more lies. Don’t be fooled by them. David Israel’s tenure has not been constructive for the village. His power and vindictiveness have put us on a course of endless chaos but Esther Sutofsky, and her team will bring us back to sanity.  David Israel is like Captain Queeg in THE CAINE MUTINY who preferred to sink the ship rather than admit he was steering the ship to destruction.
   

It is imperative that you vote for Esther’s team. It is the only way to get rid of the dead wood. The biggest of the dead wood is Bob Marshall, who   falls asleep at meetings and only comes to life for a few seconds to cast his vote for anything David Wants. This is NOT the person you want to represent you.  He is the person who signed a secret agreement with Mark Levy, which gave Levy two-thirds of your WPRF dues while the Clubhouse was being rebuilt.  Mark levy was allowed to use your money to pay for extras, which cost THE RESIDENTS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

  If Bob Marshall did not sign this *secret agreement, Mark Levy would have been responsible for restoring the clubhouse without any additional cost to us. BOB MARSHALL SCAMMED THE RESIDENTS AND SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO SERVE THEN AGAIN.

LAST GASP OF A DYING ADMINISTRATION - FOR SHAME

    So instead of answering a plea for grown up talk, the David Israel administration has responded with more of their garbage and trash talk. Their skill at twisting language, reversing history and putting their words in the mouths of others is unbelievable. His spokesmen ought to be ashamed of themselves as they spout lie after lie after lie. Let us look at their latest diatribe.

     1, 2, and 3. Once again they spout their garbage about the lawsuit. It is getting quite tiresome to repeatedly throw their lies back in their faces but here it goes again, briefly. I had nothing to do with the lawsuit of the past and accusing me of that has gone from the sublime to the ridiculous and I have as little to do with the filing of the lawsuit as I had to do with the other - and that means NOTHING! ZIP, NADA!! Nor does refusing to get upset at a fact of life, at a reality, indicate anything other than an even temper and an acceptance of reality such as it is. We are handed a card and we deal with it. Screaming "The sky is falling" again and again and refusing to acknowledge why - THE AWFUL ERRORS AND INTENTIONAL ACTS OF MALFEASANCE BY THE DAVID ISRAEL ADMINISTRATION - are the acts of children, temper tantrum throwing children who lie thru their teeth denying they stole the cookies when the crumbs are hanging off their mouths! Calm, calm, and calm is how one should proceed.

      This appears to be the sum total of David Israel's administrative experience and learning curve. His curve has curved back on itself and left us, the Village out. The lack of understanding of what it takes to run a multi million dollar business,how to work with others in seamless cooperation, how to get along with those who disagree, how to mesh other suggestions and opinions with your own - this is all obvious when they make a remark about a few books. All David Israel appeared to do was be a minor functionary who sat by a computer, perhaps a G13 level government worker (being generous here), and analyze Soviet intelligence and how's that work out for us. We were totally behind the curve with what happened inside the USSR and it all caught us by surprise. Good job, David Israel.

     3, 4,7,8.  What crap! What garbage! What outright lies. We have tried to keep quiet about the awful tripe that came from David Israel but enough is enough. You opened the door to this again. David Israel is the one who horrendously raised the issue of  Jewish conspiracies against the Village. David Israel is the one who accused me of being a NAZI. David Israel is the one who took off against his own people. Yes, David Israel, you are a Jew and do not forget that, for others will not. Railing against those whose belief patterns are other than yours is wrong, hateful and dangerous. If I had been anything other than an Orthodox Jew would you have done the same? Would you still have sent out awful emails and planted rumors that I planned a religious revolution here in the Village I have proof of that so cut the crap and stop lying. ALL MY TEAM AND I WANT IS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE, WITH A PLACE FOR ALL.would you have done the same thing, you who "saved " us after 911. You whom the government needed oh so much. Hey, they even called that sniper back after 911 on that same reserved line. He did wonders, huh!
    All the rest of the numbers: It is simply tiresome the way that David Israel and his team refuse to answer our questions and statements of fact. That is because these statements are all true and all their lies cannot change that reality. Figures do not lie; liars figure on lies. The Comcast contract was under George Lowenstein; it was Dorothy who balanced the budget despite all obstacles placed in her path and it was she who started refunding our designated funds. It was you and Ed Black who wished to mix it all in one fund, perhaps the better to hide future misdeeds? It is others who have initiated projects for which you have taken credit. For example, the water department came to us because they knew they were wrong so David Israel had NOTHING to do with it. This is the way it goes under a David Israel administration.

     As far as the armed guards - how can that possibly have been right? How could you possibly even try to defend that?
 There has NEVER nor will there EVER be any excuse for armed guards at any of our delegate assemblies or any other gathering of UCO here in the Village. The mentality that thinks it was okay to bring them in - and it does not matter PBSO off duty or not - they were still hired and still armed, there for intimidating purposes, not for any other reason. 
  
     Now let us discuss 911. Lots of people were called back on the reserve program. So was the shooter who killed those people. So no self pride or self aggrandizement ( Too big a word for you, David Israel?) And helping to capture Bin Laden? C'mon! As for myself, I am proud of my actions and deeds on 9/11 and afterward. I had to deal with scared and crying children, with frantic parents, with teachers and other staff who had to be there for the children while worried about their own families and I had to be there for them all, frightened as I was of the new world we were all entering. We all did our put. Pats on the back from oneself means nothing. Enough of "being called back", you and your little go bag.
    
Anita Buchanan, shame on you for writing this. I had thought you were above all this. I had truly hoped that you had much to contribute in a new administration and towards the Village. I still hope this can be so, but please, having strong beliefs does mean that one cannot see the light and back away from them when they are wrong. The truth is there for all would see it.

     How can one stand by another person whose supporters call those who vote for his opponent STUPID. Yes, stupid. Truly what we need to reunite this Village, right! We do not need to go back to poor and thoughtless ways. We need to go for the truth, the transparent, the honest, the friendly and welcoming  - the brain with the heart.
     I apologize for having to write such a piece again, but David Israel has left me no other way. He cannot keep on being a bully and thinking he has everyone cowed. He cannot keep on denying the truth even as the cooikie crumbs are on his mouth. He cannot keep on believing that his temper tantrums and fits of temper with potty mouth comments will do the trick. Enough! ENOUGH!

      VOTE FOR THE VILLAGE. VOTE ESTHER AND TEAM.

VOTE FOR ESTHER!  Because -

1.   Despite allegations to the contrary, the “raping of the Reporter” account occurred during the time Mr. Black was your Treasurer.  Where was Mr. Israel?

2.   Mr. Israel – your current President –has denied to me – your current Treasurer – access to “THE CLOUD” wherein he places information that was previously available in hard copy.  And, if he is not elected, he has threatened to destroy valuable UCO and CV documents.

3.   Mr. Israel – your current President – has allowed others in his administration to make accusations against me in that “Ms. Tetro holds ‘secret meetings’ and no minutes are kept.”  That charge was invalidated during the recall hearing.

4.   Now at long last, Mr. Israel has publicly admitted that the roads are not perfect, and yes mistakes were made.  Like a $5 million mistake!

5.   Mr. Israel maintains absolute control over everything; much the same as a dictator.      

          For example:

-        Mr. Israel has instructed our accountant not to speak directly to me the Treasurer.  As a result, another of the charges against me has been proven false.  The accountant informed me – months after having informed Mr. Israel – that such a program would probably cost $35,000 and in addition an unknown monthly licensing fee. 

-        Mr. Israel has instructed the bookkeeper NOT to report to the Treasurer.  Only to him.

-        Mr. Israel has consistently refused to include certain persons on committees regardless of their past experience and knowledge.  He has labelled them as too “controversial” or “difficult” His reasoning is they have “differing opinions and/or difficult or demanding personalities”.  And, in the end, you – the residents of Century Village – are denied the benefits of someone’s expertise and willingness to give of their time and energies. 

6.    It is common knowledge that Mr. Israel relies heavily on the advice and suggestions of our very own “Wizard of Oz”; who, on numerous occasions, has negated decisions made by the officers themselves.  This person occupies one of the offices intended for an elected officer.  Is this common practice in the corporate world?  I would say NO, it is not! 

Mr. Israel, in his 4 years as President, has become overbearing, domineering and autocratic.  We do not need two more years of this form of government; distortions of truth, lies, cover-ups, reckless spending.

On Friday it will be your time to speak, loud and clear!  Vote for a change; for a friendlier UCO -

LANNY HOWE COMES ALIVE WITH FALSEHOODS, FANTASIES AND FAIRY-TALES

Well now, enter the man who has more to say than what Bill Clinton said while defending himself re the Lewinsky woman. That man I speak of is the one and only Lanny Howe.

He has become THE SELF-PROFESSED Century Village Historian and Archivist. The biggest problem, however, is that history is supposed to be factual. Lanny has developed a propensity for bending and streeetchinnnng the truth. And, he also loves to leave out certain words and phrases in order for him to create fictitious, highly fanciful stories in order to hold our interest.

One has to understand that when he composes some far-flung literary garbage, he stands on a high-chair he borrowed from the UCO Reporter; he believes that he is far above everyone else . . . like way above. And note carefully, -- he doesn’t give a fiddler’s fart what he says about anybody, and do you know why? - - It is because he is Mr. Israel’s spokesman and another of his puppets.

Of all the stuff Lanny spews out, - - NOTE WELL, - - he doesn’t state anywhere any of the things that Mr. Israel may have accomplished in his 4 years in office that bettered Century Village. So, why does he stay away from that story, - - well, of course, there is nothing to tell. In four years, like FOUR YEARS, what has Mr. Israel done to make Century Village a better place to live? Take a look at Mr. Israel’s “bullets” on his hand-out card, - - even those are either super-exaggerated or totally false.

Let’s look further, - - if Lanny Howe said anything good about anybody beyond Mr. Israel, the Good Lord would probably strike him stone cold. Oh yeah, Lanny, while reading your criticisms and more criticisms, and even more criticisms, including of this writer who you declared to be Ed Ross (another asinine statement), - - I couldn’t help but doze off three times. You, Lanny, must have taken writing lessons from Art Buchwald.

So, Lanny, if you’re going to write such detailed fairy tales, you need to stick to the facts, stay away from criticisms of people and, while thinking, - - play with a yo-yo.

HOW SAD IT IS WHEN THEY ARE REDUCED TO LIES AND ONLY LIES

   

So that point has FINALLY arrived. David Israel is no longer only using his minions to write lies and half truths, but now he is posting bald faced lies, lies that we have countered ad infinitum. David Israel is trying to convince people that I am totally against WIFI. How wrong he is. I love WIFI and use it all the time. Many people in the Village do. But what we do not need is another 1 or 2 million dollar debacle similar to the roads.

 David Israel has tried to bring in incompetent firms, unable to do the job of wiring the whole Village. Other experts, including one who wired the Hong Kong police said that these companies are not capable of that and indeed, it is not even a good idea to do a Village wide wiring. That was tried in Boca Century and IT IS AWFUL. It does not work. What many associations are doing here in our Village is wiring their buildings according to the wishes of the residents and it is SO MUCH LESS COSTLY.

     What David Israel does not tell you is that his WIFI requires lots more money for speed and usage. So there you would be paying lots of money for a system that does not work AND paying Comcast as it is part of your monthly fee and then paying more to try to get a better set up for yourself. Very costly and a dumb move.

     David lies about his part in the disaster of the road paving and only now under duress is he finally admitting to SOME mistakes. He makes baldfaced lies about the return of money to the residents from the Comcast contract. Residents received about 10% in small decreases to their Comcast payments FOR ONE YEAR. All the rest was spent INCLUDING THE $500,000 he blew on the roads. His lies go on and on and then rants and raves that others are telling lies. His gall is unbelievable and  outrageous . He cannot answer with truth anymore than he could climb a skyscraper.

 He refused to debate because he cannot withstand the truth, cannot give answers that would satisfy the audience. Just reference the Forum and you will see the truth as it truly is. His rudeness and nastiness are clear to all; his inability to answer is clear as well. He runs the UCO office as a fiefdom of loud voices and curse words and cedes most decisions to Ed Black, bypassing and stomping on the bylaws all the while.

    David Israel has no respect for the truth or for the residents and cares only ONLY about his pet projects such as WIFI and then takes credit for anything else away from the person who actually deserves it.

     I personally have always championed honesty, caring, transparency, efficiency, good teamwork and civil behavior. There is none of that in David Israel's UCO. Even 5 of 7 current Officers have had it. That is a telling sign and calling them and others who have signed endorsements his typical rude names does not cover or hide the truth. His days in office are over and a new team needs to be elected. That is Esther's team.

 Put aside David Israel's lies, his nasty insinuations and remember his insistence on refusing debates, on refusing to raise the level of campaigning to an adult level, remember his insistence on name calling and trashing other people. I hate, hate, hate, having to write an article such as this, but David Israel leaves me no choice. THE TRUTH MUST OUT.

TAKE THE TRUTH TO HEART - VOTE ESTHER FOR PRESIDENT. VOTE THE TEAM.

Mr. Israel’s first proclamation

Yesterday I reviewed Mr. Israel’s first proclamation as found in his flyer.  Now, . . .

On to the second proclamation - - -

“$2.3 million signing bonus returned to residents as part of Comcast contract”

This “signing bonus” was used as follows:

              $353,430 to CSI, which was the company that assisted us in the search and negotiation    

              Process.

              $291,630 to Wachovia Bank to satisfy the mortgage on 2102 West Drive.

           

              $796,378 in the 2010 budget** to a Reserve account for a potential tax obligation

              $902,936 in the 2010 budget ** returned to the residents in the form of a reduction

                  in Cable fees ($9.58 per apartment per month; $114.96 for the year for each    

                 apartment)

            

              ** It is important to note that the 2010 budget was prepared and adopted in

                   2009 when George Loewenstein was the President of UCO.

So – what happened to the money designated “Reserves”?   Well folks, a total of $500,000 – half a million dollars – was used to pave our roads.  Again, I refer you to SCANDALS, PART 7A for details.  And YES, HALLELUJAH! AT LAST I can reveal to you exactly how much was returned.  The 2012 budget clearly indicates $223,972 ($2.37 per apartment per month).  THIS IS BUT 10% OF THE SIGNING BONUS!  

The final figure you need to consider is just exactly how much of the signing bonus did Mr. Israel return to you?  The answer is $223,972 in the form of reduced fees in 2012; $902,936 in 2010 when the President of UCO was George Loewenstein.   

$223,972 is a far cry from a “signing bonus” in excess of $2 million.  By my arithmetic, it is just less than 10%. 

This is just another example of Mr. Israel’s distortion of the truth. 

Before you vote, you should give careful consideration to the remainder of Mr. Israel’s “proclamations”.  I ask you to think about what I have written and decide the truthfulness of these proclamations for yourself.

AND THE SAME OLD SAME OLD ROLLS RIGHT ALONG. TIME FOR A DIFFERENT SONG

     First, Lanny, I would like to thank you for giving me something fun and constructive to do when I cannot sleep. Evidently you seem to have the same problem.  Better fix that, or people will start to say you are becoming like Esther. Oh, m'gosh!

    But anyway, now you seem to have come up with a new idea. Never mind criticizing what one says or twisting it out of shape; let's now condemn a person when she doesn't say something. Veeeeery clever - NOT. I have stated again and again, my opinion as a person is irrelevant in this issue. The lawsuit has been served and now it is a fact. As a President or official of UCO it would then become my responsibility to handle it in concert with lawyers and insurance company. My opinion one way or the other would not change facts.

 My opinion that David Israel has been bad for the Village, on the other hand, is one shared by many and can be backed up by facts and this is where an opinion does carry weight. The problem with you guys is you cannot separate issues and realities and that, dear Lanny, is NOT good government.

     In my travels around the Village during this campaign it has been my pleasure and privilege to meet so many residents, our lifeblood. They vary in thoughts and opinions, but all love it here and worry about what is to be.

They worry why things and actions are sprung on them.
They worry why they have to yell at people in UCO to get answers and even then mainly not.

They worry why they are denied access to a President unless it is a couple of months before an election and even then, it is only the presidents of the Associations or delegates.
They worry why they have to contend with deteriorating road conditions, floods on their walkways and roadways, the sinkholes that could have been avoided, the lack of a proper amount of reserve or designated funds.

They worry about a President that did not uphold his responsibilities during the paving project and who refuses to obey the bylaws.
They worry about the lack of UCO to handhold them in dealing with foreclosures.

They worry about a President who throws temper tantrums and curses people in vile language.

They worry about an administration that seems to focus on WIFI to the detriment of all other projects, especially when many Associations have been looking into their own WIFI already.
They worry abut non elected people having so much control over the President and over funds.

They worry and wonder how to fix this.

     The answer is to turn to a team approach that hears them and cares about and for them, for an administration that will work with a brain and a heart, that will supervise projects properly and handle our funds in a much more careful and transparent manner. They want a team that looks towards the future and will make sure that the mistakes of the past will not happen again. They want an administration that is already planning strategies about handling the issues of the Village.In short, they do not like David Israel or Ed Black or many others and they do not like the policies or lack thereof of this administration.

    The answer is to vote for the new team, the fresh and refreshing ideas of Esther and team which includes all of the residents of the Village. Each and every one has something to contribute to a better Village and we welcome their participation.

MORE BLATHERING ON AND ON AND ON AND ON.........

     Well, Lanny Howe, David Israel's apologist, and Don HoHo, just keep on blathering despite all the requests to cut the garbage out. Now you have decided that the proper targets are my supporters. Why keep picking on people? Why not address the issues?

 Again and again you and your leader have avoided it. And why? Because you guys appear to have nothing of value to say. Now you totally miss the point of listing the supporters. 5 out of 7 current UCO Officers support me. His former campaign manager supports me. Past UCO officials support me. Opponents of the Golf Course from both sides agree on supporting me and we all get along talking with civility and patience. Why? Because that is the theme we have - UNITY ,CIVILITY, WHAT IS BEST FOR THE VILLAGE. We all put our own egos aside and work together in sync with the goal of improving the Village, improving the quality of life for our residents, for hearing them and doing something about it, even if it is just to explain. UCO cannot hold itself above the residents any longer.

     Give it up, Lanny. Please, you even admit yourself that you are blathering so please, write a story about your travels, even if it is just thru the Village on the perimeter roads. Hey, maybe you can document all the cracks and breaks in the sidewalks and the sand and stones of the deteriorating roads. At least that is interesting and an issue!

POOR SELF DELUDING LANNY

     I will try to explain this in simple terms so even you can understand. David Israel has HIS personal private blog where he limits comments to those he deigns to favor. He is therefore responsible for words of hate and accusations, vile accusations, that were posted on there, including those by David Israel and others by his henchmen.

 The "other" blog is a blog started by Olga and Gary, if that is correct and I came to it lately. It is an open blog which allows all to post unless they are vile comments - and that includes all who post like that. When once there was a nasty exchange that went on, I commented on it and it stopped. When has David Israel ever done anything like that. He even answered a question about that at the Forum by using the very same pejorative terms.

 Why he will not allow me to write on his blog in direct response to the postings? Why? Because he has no answers except for more garbage and trash and no true responses.

    Believe it or not, there is freedom of speech. I do not dictate to people who support me. I encourage and value their individual thoughts, ideas and contributions. Sometimes they write a bit strongly, but no more or less than we have seen posted on your blog. I have long asked that this garbage be stopped, long asked that David Israel grow up and have a debate on the issues, not let his few followers write trash and garbage but the answer was seen in the continuance of that same vein of writing.

     As far as the strong posting I put on about David Israel it is for  the same reason that I spoke loudly and clearly at the Forum and for which he shamefully did not take responsibility or apologize - when he used armed guards to intimidate people and when he tried to rile up vile feelings of prejudice and hatred in the Village. One must accept the consequences of one's behavior in words or deeds. David Israel refuses to do that - not in his accusations, not on the road debacle, not on his temper tantrums and vile language, not for anything. He needs to go. People are tired of him and his behavior and the behavior of HIS MALCONTENTS AND DISRUPTIVES". They are the ones who disrespectfully hoot and howl and heckle and curse. You guys consistently mistake the image you see when you look in the mirror for us - but it is you.
     I ask again, stop this garbage posting. You will not scare me nor my supporters nor the residents. When FIVE OUT OF SEVEN current UCO Officers support me, when Jean Dowling, David Israel's former campaign manager supports me and lots of other wonderful and experienced people support me, there is a message there. Read it, Lanny! Hear it, Lanny. And transmit it to your buddies and again, you have five days to put on proper postings with true answers. Try it, you might like it.

Vote for Esther, Vote for the Slate, and get rid of the nasties, befuddle and (you fill in the blanks...) 

Balanced Budgets - Huh?

Via THE ADVOCATE , Mr. Israel has delivered to every single unit a flyer proclaiming his many accomplishments of the past four years. There are two proclamations that I wish to review. 

In this posting; the first proclamation - - -

“4 years of balanced budgets, $1 million+ cash on hand headed into 2014”

How quickly he forgets. For the details I refer you to SCANDALS, PART 7, 7A and 7B wherein vast sums of money were transferred from our reserves to fund the paving fiasco.

Then we incurred a situation at the corner of Borden and Bath that required an unbudgeted expenditure in excess of $70,000. We used the money that remained in the reserve accounts.

IF MR. ISRAEL “BALANCED THE BUDGETS” AS HE CLAIMED, HE BALANCED THEM BASED ON THE FACT THAT HE USED MONEY FROM EVERY RESERVE ACCOUNT TO PAY EXPENSES; LEAVING IN OCTOBER OF 2012, A TOTAL OF JUST OVER $21,000 IN THE UCO RESERVE ACCOUNTS. That’s right folks, just over $21,000!

Just to put this into proper perspective, how many of the individual Associations in Century Village have less than $21,000 in their reserve accounts? It was only in the 2013 budget that we started to come back, albeit slowly. And now again in 2014 we are adding to the reserves that we accumulated in 2013.

UCO – with a $7 million dollar budget – had less in reserves than the vast majority of Associations. Were you even aware of this until I took office as the new Treasurer and enlightened you? Because of the actions of Mr. Israel, I did not sleep well at night. No, it wasn’t Mr. Israel’s careful monitoring of UCO expenses that balanced the budgets. Why, for a long period of time in 2013/14 Mr. Israel refused to even sign the checks. How was this of assistance to HIM in HIS balancing the budget?

I have expanded upon this proclamation - which has been distorted by Mr. Israel in an attempt to make it believable in your mind. Mr. Israel lies to your face and then dares to place his lies in print. The credibility of the remainder of Mr. Israel’s proclamations are also very questionable. Tomorrow I will address another of these proclamations for you to think about.

Before you vote, I ask you to think about what I have written and decide the truthfulness of his proclamation for yourself.

THE TRUTH IS............

      The truth is that David Israel is running scared and is resorting to negative nasty remarks and the basest of all lies.
     The truth is that David Israel would not recognize the truth if it rose up and slapped him in the face.
     The truth is that David Israel was badly defeated in the Candidates Forum as he could not answer anything with words of value.
     The truth is that David Israel was nasty and rude at the Forum, totally uncalled for.
     The truth is that David Israel is now searching desperately for anything to scream about on line, including getting his minions to write nasty stuff for him.
     The truth is that Frank Leggio did try to dupe us, ASKING to be placed on our slate and by the way, I did not write that article with tricky Dickster so I have no idea what you are talking about. And who is BOSS? Never mind, don't really care.
     The truth is that David Israel is incapable of running a business and that is why UCO and the Village are in such a bad way.
     The truth is that we are now without a Landscaping contract, are quickly running out of time on a Security contract and others to follow.
     The truth is that David Israel has abdicated to Ed Black and does nothing but tap, tap, tap all day on his computer.
     The truth is that David Israel threw a major tantrum in the office on Friday - not a good leadership trait, David Israel. And he does this all the time.
     The truth is that David Israel threatened a resident with the sheriff's office because she insisted he do his job and gavel down a rabid Pat Sealander.
     The truth is that David Israel curses out people in the middle of crowds, UCO or wherever his temper and mouth explode.
     The truth is that authority and responsibility go hand in hand with accepting ownership of mistakes, large and small and the paving of the roads is quite a large error.
     The truth is that lies will out and the truth will be made clear so give it up.
     The truth is that if we have so much power and can get a gas station built then why can we not get a permit for the security fence for Southhampton. It is our safety at risk.
     The truth is that all David Israel does is talk, talk, talk and there is never any follow through.
     The truth is that class lawsuits are common. Please note the new one instituted by the engineers and programmers of Silicon Valley against the huge Internet companies. The companies were wrong and so was David Israel and the UCO administration of the time.
    The truth is David Israel and company never want to see or know the truth as it is bad for them.
    The truth is that I asked all the questions about the road at the Forum with no good answer in return and that was before the suit came.
    The truth is when David Israel is running scared why the hell would I want a suit to cause issues. I have enough to defeat David Israel and his cohorts. But that is his faulty thinking.
     The truth is that Bob Marshall needs to be left alone in peace and stop using him as an unknowing tool and causing his embarrassment in public as at the Forum and at meetings. It is the right and kind thing to do.
     The truth is that capitals are not yelling, they are emphasis,Mr. Big Mouth and flowing into pockets means not going in the reverse as out of pockets so stop playing games again that are lies, lies, lies.
     The truth is that I am sick and tired of your garbage and your lies and inanities and so is everyone else except for those few who cannot see the truth right in front of them.

THE TRUTH IS THAT FOR THE SAKE OF THE FUTURE OF THE VILLAGE DAVID ISRAEL AND SLATE NEED TO GO.

THE TRUTH IS THAT THE PEOPLE WHO KNOW UCO, ARE EVEN IN HIS ADMINISTRATION, WANT HIM TO GO, KNOW HE MUST GO.

David Israel once again throws dust in the eyes of Century Village residents. His talks about the "increase of the insurance premiums because of the law suit" indicates that Mr. Israel is really in a tight spot. If we think like him, let us cancel all our policies "because the premiums will be raised due to claims". WOW how desperate must he be.

As far as the residents of Century Village, excluding David Israel, it is a win-win situation. If the insurance policy pays the claim, we the residents, get our fair reclaimed expense back that this president, in his awful mismanagement, put us through.

How scared is David ? listen to his repeated wailing "I made mistakes...", apparently David Israel has a short memory how he and his henchmen, pursued his opponent, on his first campaign, on his opponents alleged mistake. What an opportunist! Money-wise his mismanagement or mistake is a thousand time more serious where his opponent's mistake was all resolve with no monetary losses to the Village.

In the real world, presidents resign or get fired for their mistakes not have the "hutspa" to change the laws to his/her favor.

David Israel also mislead the Century Village residents about "all UCO meetings are open". Yes, David spreads info via emails except what he does not want you to know. He did not tell you how he refused to show in the open insurance bids (after the due date, when it is not confidential anymore and everyone has the right to see it as a port of UCO documents). It took a lawyer months to fight David Israel until he obliged. Even then in our opinion, the bid was "doctored".

David Israel, in his desperation, proclaims that he looks "into the future not the past" with good reasons for him only. He does not want Century Village to look into his past. The irony is that all David Israel does is look at his opponents past. 

Its time for an end to this Arrogance, lets get a real President

I am proud to be a candidate for Treasurer of UCO. I am the only candidate on the slate that is licensed and registered to practice certified public accounting. 

My background includes being the CFO of a multinational corporation owned jointly by Merrill Lynch and Kay Corporation. I managed over $50M in bank lines and the Company had a 1,000 employees worldwide and I installed the first computerized accounting and trading system.

Over the past 3 years I have been an outspoken delegate in an attempt to control the outlandish spending by the current administration which nearly bankrupted UCO.

My goal, if elected as treasurer is to:

·       Better protect the assets of UCO by improving the internal controls and financial office functions. Establish a volunteer financial office staff which will reduce costs and help create more timely reports

·        Maximize the use of UCO’s physical assets by generating a significant income stream to help offset UCO current and future costs, i.e. a plan to increase income using the advertising on the buses, which was previously submitted and ignored.

·       Being the only candidate who has already met with the current auditors and discovered that 80% of their practice is bookkeeping and only 20% is auditing. This information has helped develop a plan that will reduce financial costs and make the reporting more efficient.

·       I will establish a physical financial library that will be readily available to all residents enabling them to research those items that now have to be requested in writing with its unnecessary delays.  This library will enable the financial department to be more efficient by eliminating time consuming, costly and wasteful procedures.

·       An independent Treasurer’s Column, (which has never been done before) in the UCO Reporter  to enable every resident be informed  of all meaningful financial matters in UCO.

Why did I file the lawsuit against David Israel and UCO?
The following is the explanation.

Why did David Israel sign a contract for $2 million without going to the officers committee, the Executive Board and the Delegate assembly for authorization according to the  By-Laws of UCO?

Why did David Israel not listen to the Engineers report that stated the paving could be done in 2-3 years?

Why did David Israel, the UCO President tell the Delegate Assembly that it would cost five hundred thousand to  re mobilize the equipment to do the job in 2 parts when one of the other bidders said it would actually cost $160,000 to mobilize the equipment and do it in 2 parts?

Why wasn't a lawyer hired to go over the one (1) page contract and bring it up to industry standards?

Why wasn't there a performance bond as usually the case in contracts of this size? The performance  bond is intended to protect us.

Why wasn't a Profession Engineer hired to supervise the job? As is usually the case with a job of this magnitude?

Why did our sister community, Boca Raton  have a 8 page contract and a Engineer to supervise the work? Their job was approximately $2 million and was done in 3 years because they didn't have enough money to do it all at once.

Why did David Israel, UCO President, and Ed Black(?) say we had enough money in the reserve fund when we only had 3.3 million. The job cost was estimated at five million.

Why did David Israel, The UCO President, and Ed Block(?), take all our reserves and put the monies into the paving job leaving the Village with a scant $21,000?

Specifically the issues raised by this action are whether the defendants, UCO and its President David Israel, rejected their fiduciary responsibility to the Class Member Owners and their connection with the project to their detriment 

The Class action suit was filed to recover these monies for the residents of Century Village.

When I walk outside my home I get sick looking at the roads. It looks like the job was done 8-10 years ago!

This lawsuit was instituted  and prepared months before Esther thought about running for UCO President. 

Why is David Israel, UCO President, trying to involved Esther? Is he afraid that everyone will find out how bad a Manager he really is?

It indicates that there are many officers, past and present that are unhappy with the screaming, throw things around the office, threatening present UCO President

Isn't it indicative of the will of the Villagers that so many of the officers are in Esther's camp? What is wrong at the Presidents enclave?

Common sense calls for a change, ask your friends, ask your neighbors. Why do we have to put with this nonsense?

     Today David Israel was served with the lawsuit put forth by Myron Solomon and Gerry Karpf and true to form, David Israel reverted to lies, lies and more lies. Throwing a major temper tantrum, he threw the binders of the suit around and then practically threatened every delegate he had called into his office with a dire prediction of the future if he is not voted back in. He rants and raves that I am part of this suit and refuses to hear what I stated clearly and unequivocally at the Forum and will do so again.

      I AM NOT IN THE PAST, PRESENT OR FORSEEABLE FUTURE PART OF ANY LAWSUIT OF CLAIM AGAINST UCO OR DAVID ISRAEL AS PART OF UCO.

      I REPEAT------

         I AM NOT IN THE PAST, PRESENT OR FORSEEABLE FUTURE PART OF ANY LAWSUIT OF CLAIM AGAINST UCO OR DAVID ISRAEL AS PART OF UCO.

(Why do we have to deny or prove out participation in this suit. Israel can see the litigators clearly if he opens his eyes, They are listed in the filing. Esther is not a member -  David Israel is  - Blogmeister)

Despite all of his efforts, the people of the Village will realize that people in the Village have the right to sue anyone they want for whatever reason they deem righteous. It is their right just as it is the right of any American to do so. Some suits are rightful and some not. It is up to the lawyers and the courts to decide and it is NOT for David Israel to intimate that I am part and parcel of this suit as I have so clearly stated THAT I AM NOT. In fact, when elected, I will have to deal with it as the current President of UCO and will do so in agreement and obedience to my duties as President of UCO.

    Again, though, this is a class suit so it is not against the residents. It is a class action lawsuit just like we all hear about when we get letters in the mail asking if we want to join or opt out or any other class action lawsuits such as the tobacco one against the cigarette companies.

    Please do not let David Israel con you into thinking that you will go into the poorhouse. First of all, the suit was just served and these things take years. Second of all, that is why there is insurance just as all Boards of the Associations have insurance and we have car and health and house, etc insurance. If anything, if the plaintiffs win the lawsuit, there will be MONEY FLOWING INTO YOUR POCKETS. Do not let David Israel con you into thinking that no one in the whole world will ever again insure UCO. Insurance companies are used to paying out and  reinsuring. Remember the hurricanes? Remember all the water leaks? Remember all the catastrophes all around the country? Well, guess what, despite David Israel's dire warnings and threats to the contrary, everyone gets reinsured, sometimes at a higher cost AND SOMETIMES NOT!!!!!!!

      This is David Israel being desperate just as he was desperate yesterday and threatened to call the PBSO on a resident and when his bluff was called HE BACKED DOWN because he knew he was wrong. This man is dangerous to our future. Please, for the sake of all of us here in the Village, reject this man and his hateful tirades and miserable lies.

     ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. THIS IS AMERICA AND WE DO NOT RULE BY TERROR AND THREATS NOR TANTRUMS.
