Everyone in the Village should know that your President,
Mr. Israel, has now made a public announcement to all the Vice-Presidents and a
person having no official title, that Dorothy Tetro is illegally signing checks
because she is a “non-resident of Century Village.” That’s one hell-of-a-charge to make.
It is so easy for Mr. Israel to sit back in his comfy
office couch and spew out lies. It goes
on and on . . . LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES.
In fact, Dorothy Tetro does reside in Century Village and nobody can
prove that she doesn’t.
So, your President, having nothing else to do, further
decides that he won’t sign any checks that bear Dorothy’s signature, because he
says that they would be illegal even though the UCO By-Laws require him to do
that. The By-Laws state that
Vice-Presidents may sign checks in the President’s stead, but the President
will allow that to happen only under the presented false pretenses.
So, what is the truth:
Dorothy owns property in Oxford and she resides there at least 9 months
out of each year. She also owns property
in Cypress Lakes which she deems her “additional” property, or the property she
can legally call her “winter home.” Her
winter home can be in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Southern Florida down the
road, or just about anywhere according to County officials.
Furthermore, Pat Poston, CFE, Director of Exemption
Services Department at the Property Appraiser’s office has stated that your
Homestead exemption does not establish legal residence. A person claiming Homestead only has to live
in that resident one (1) day a year.
This matter of signing checks doesn’t even stop
there. The President, Mr. Israel, went
so far as to intimidate your four Vice-Presidents by stating in writing that
they can also sign checks but “. . .
it’s at your own legal risk!”
You should be asking all of his followers, -- just how
far are you going to let this man go?
You allow him to get away with anything?
Anything and everything he does is okay?
Let’s get to the bottom of this and the truth. Israel and Ed Black very secretly manipulated
expenditures amounting to more than a million dollars, behind closed
doors. The money mysteriously
disappeared by their illegal activities in a number of areas. The President’s followers close their eyes
and block their ears to those secret dealings that many, many people would
consider criminal.
So, Dorothy Tetro beats Ed Black in an election for
Treasurer. That was not supposed to
happen. They, Israel and Black, couldn’t
continue with their illicit operations as a team. Black needed to be the Treasurer of UCO so
that the ledgers could again be scrambled and the accounts combined and drawn
down to dangerous levels. Dorothy Tetro
was in the way and she still is. She
straightened everything out after months of work and is coming close to find
what dastardly acts have been committed . . .

Israel and Black see that Dorothy won’t resign, as they
expected she would do, so they’ll do anything to get her out of office: the
nine month residency matter, the By-Law Amendment, the transponders, Israel
claiming that everyone works for him, including the bookkeeper, or is trying to
take away all of the Treasurer’s authority, a recall election and other acts of
desperation.
Israel cannot function without Black, and Black wouldn’t
even be allowed in the UCO building without Israel. And, if Israel happens to remain as President
after the next election and Black is defeated in his run for Treasurer, it
would destroy the team that is capable of doing anything they want, even if
it’s illegal. It is necessary for them
to keep all of the secrets . . . SECRET.
If Israel can get Dorothy out of office now, and have Black appointed
the treasurer, as he was once before, then being the incumbent in an election
would give him a great advantage and a head start in changing the books around
as he did once before. So, that’s what
all of this rumble is about.
Refusing to sign UCO checks because of a false allegation
is just another matter of desperation. What are they going to think of next?
The President’s followers are but a dozen or so, but they
control a lot of other people who are afraid to come up with an opposing
opinion for fear of becoming ostracized by the governing dictators. Why can’t they just see what this Dictator
and his Knave are all about?
Dorothy Tetro, as UCO’s Treasurer, will continue to sign
UCO’s checks as she is required to do, and she’ll put those checks on Mr.
Israel’s desk for his signature as she always has done before. If he doesn’t sign the checks, then what he
does with them will be his responsibility, - - his intimidation of the Vice
Presidents notwithstanding.

I can't imagine a president going to all of this trouble just to get Dorothy Tetro out of office, unless they have so many monetary deals to hide that exposure might get the attention of law enforcement officials.
If the president offers up his resignation, I think everyone will know that law enforcement may have moved on some information that may be most worrisome to Israel.
I can't believe all of this is happening at my retirement home community.
GOD bless America. And GOD bless Dorothy Tetro. She is a real professional and knows her job better than any treasurer as far back as I can remember. I feel good and safe that she is treasurer because I do believe that she is honest and reliable. I don't care if she lives in China. She comes to work every day and does the job expected of her. Now, who could ask for anything more?

Thankfully, there is no one in my building who wishes to see him remain as president, and not a single person in my building asked me to cast my vote for him in either of the last two elections. I always poll my building before I vote on issues, unless of course, I don't know the issue before a delegate meeting occurs. I am aware not all delegates do that. I am so happy that I have never yet had to vote differently than I think wise, and I'm happy to announce that I feel quite sure sure that I won't in the next election for UCO president either. This makes my heart sing. Vote him out, vote him out, vote him out!!!!!

ReplyDeleteMr. Ross, your entire argument appears to be contained in the sixth paragraph of your latest post. I will only offer an opinion on your statements in paragraph six, and, since I am not an attorney, I will not weigh in on these matters "legally". Neither should you.
My comments should be regarded as being in the realm of personal opinion. They are mine alone, and subject to scrutiny and criticism by any other person who cares to read them. I am not personally acquainted with the UCO Treasurer and I believe that my personal feelings regarding her residency and qualification for holding UCO office are somewhat neutral. I am displeased with her recent Finance Committee vote regarding the WiFi project, but that matter, for me, has nothing to do with this current "Residency Controversy".
From your own statement, the UCO Treasurer owns two homes in the same zipcode. To describe one of these properties as a "winter home" strains the bounds of credulity. In other words, in my opinion, any reasonable person without a personal, financial or political bias would find this statement to be silly.
There is a notice in the October UCO Reporter announcing a proposed bylaw amendment that appears to speak to this particular "Residency Controversy". I support this amendment because I think that it will help limit these arguments in the future, and it seems not to place an onerous burden on any person who wishes to stand for UCO office. However, bylaws and amendments can only go so far. Personal Honor will always be the primary means of insuring honest and proper public behavior. To date, I am not aware of any public comment made by the UCO Treasurer in answer to this Contraversy. Others, yourself included, have made public comments in defense of the Treasurer, but she has not. An honest, forthright, public explanation by the Treasurer of her residency situation, without use of terms like "legally" or "domicile", would go a long way in clearing this matter up. Wednesday's Delegate Assembly would be a perfect opportunity to put this matter to rest, once and for all.
I am aware that an explanation of this kind touches on issues of personal privacy. If you demanded this type of personal information from me, I would tell you to mind your own fucking business. I did not run for public office and do not handle money belonging to perhaps ten thousand other people. Ms. Tetro, in my opinion, should have less expectation of privacy and is obligated to answer to these enquiries, for as long as she continues to serve.

DeleteYour expressions in six paragraphs are simply very wrong in my justified opinion. But, of course, as you state, they are your opinions. I have to say that you certainly don’t do any homework before you put something in writing. You don’t distinguish the truth from fantasy. By what you write, it is clear to me that you don’t care whatsoever as to what other people have to say.
Let’s get one thing straight before I address some of your nonsensical remarks. You are no doubt addressing MY posting regarding Dorothy Tetro. However, at the beginning of your second paragraph you address me as “Mr. Ross.” It’s like you’re farting in a hurricane to make such a careless remark. There are two Mr. Ross’s that I know of, and a third up north who is a friend of a friend and I don’t think that I have the smarts to claim to be either one of the two in Florida.
I know that you commonly make remarks of which you have no back-up proof but your egotistical stance gives you license to do so. Let’s see now, I’ve been told that you call yourself Don4060, but are you really David Israel? Are you afraid to state who you really are, or maybe you really are a fat woman. You could be Donald Duck because you do a lot of quacking.
According to my attorney, there is no definition, for legal purposes, for what a person can call his or her winter residence, or their fall home or spring home, or any other expression to identify another property where one might own and reside. And, if you reside in that property at least one day per year, you may obtain a homestead exemption and it need not be your so-called legal address. If you think that is silly, then you’re a dope, plain and simple.
It would appear very clear that Israel & Black are using you to express opinions on this blog to discredit Dorothy Tetro. No matter what is said and with proof, -- you wear earlaps and blinders because your goal is to get Dorothy Tetro. I think everybody can see what you’re doing and have been doing for quite some time. You know, -- she does a job and she does it well, and she is honest -- NOBODY can disagree with that. But, your mean-spirited spit-balls go on and on as though you have a prepared text. In your ramblings you refer to the sixth paragraph of something that doesn’t connect with what you seem to want to get across. I, EDUARDO, have no idea what the hell you’re talking about, and it looks like you don’t either.
You state that you are displeased with Dorothy Tetro’s vote regarding Wi-Fi at the recent Finance Committee meeting. Because of a tie vote, she was forced to cast the deciding vote. It was HER opinion. I read between the lines that you think that she has no right to an opinion. Your tunnel vision turns another page on describing who you really are and what you’re all about.
Your fourth paragraph bodes the question as to just how intelligent you are. The “description” of a piece of property can be used strictly for emphasis to distinguish it from other properties, and may assist one in knowing its’ function. You may think that it is “silly” to describe a property within the same zip code as a “winter home,” but, you know – you admit that you’re not an attorney, so don’t pretend that you are one. I was told that Dorothy bounced it off of an attorney and the result is that she can call it “Duffy’s Tavern” if she so chooses.

DeleteIn your fifth paragraph, you mention an Amendment to the By-Laws that you’re in favor of. It would appear that you don’t know what this amendment is all about. You’re way behind in the news. I’ll try to be very brief, -- at a meeting at the UCO building at which time the president and all vice-presidents and numerous other people were there, -- Mr. Rivera, presented the proposed amendment that was supposed to make CV a better place to live, -- but when forced, he admitted it was to get Dorothy Tetro out of office. Why is that, -- read, read, read the truth about what the president did in the past and what he wants to continue to do in the near future
By the way, that Amendment is flawed regarding the Homestead exempted property being your legal residence; your passport doesn’t need your residential address as proof of where you live; voter registration can be anywhere; driver’s license address can be the address you have when you combine two vehicles onto a single policy and only one name is listed.
Re your last paragraph, -- of course Dorothy Tetro is a public figure and she’s in the second most important job at UCO, and therefore, you have a right to ask questions …. You have a right to ask questions about the job that she fills and how she is doing it. And, you are right, -- anything else is none of your or anyone else’s “fucking” business – to use your expression.
Why don’t you read the public record? Why don’t you go into UCO and see her privately … I’m sure she’ll put things aside, sit you down and explain everything that she does and has been doing with respect to handling all of the money. Again, you really need to read the record. And, why don’t you go to a Delegate’s meeting where she’ll give to you all of the documents you’ll need to have in order to identify where the money is. Careful though, your President won’t release UCO file documents unless you go through a certain procedure to make it difficult to obtain information that you’re entitled to.
Don4060, -- there is some humor in everything there is, but if you don’t think so, you’re going to grow old much quicker and like an old car, the parts are going to begin to fall off.
I address many, many things that cross my bow and I may throw in some dull humor now and again just to break up the stigma and get you to think beyond your nose. You see, there may be another side to a story, or a third side. You have a tendency to agitate me because you don’t want to recognize things that have already been proven to be fact. And, you take that very subject matter and talk it to death. Just a word to the wise, -- people will read what you have to say so long as you’re not on the attack.

The only thing you're going to hear from Israel is: "MY MOMMY ALWAYS TOLD ME TO PLEAD NOT GUILTY, YOUR HONOR."
And, Ed Black will write a secret note to the judge saying, while openly crying: "I SIGNED NOTHING, YOUR HONOR, I'M NEVER GUILTY OF ANYTHING.....NOT GUILTY.....NOT GUILTY."
And, Bob Marshall will shake his head up and down and then side to side depending upon what Black tells him to do. He'll eventually say:
" I WAS ALWAYS GUILTY, YOUR HONOR, SO WHAT!"
And Elaine B. will say: " I PLEAD TO ASS-KISSING, YOUR HONOR, - I LOVE THE SMELL."
Don 4070 will talk for 22 minutes and the judge will say "SHUT THE F---- UP AND SIT DOWN," at which time his seat will collapse under his weight.
Of course, Bob Rivera will say: " I'LL ENTER A PLEA , YOUR HONOR, AFTER I TAKE MY BRAIN MEDICATIONS AND WAIVE THE FLAG WITH MY MEDALS PINNED ON IT."
Claudette LaBonte will say: "I ADMIT TO SAYING A LOT OF VERY STUPID THINGS, YOUR HONOR, BUT IT'S ONLY BECAUSE I'M REALLY STUPID."
And then, all of DING-DONG-DAVID'S-DOPES will clap......and yell "HOORAY!!!!"
You have to inject a little flapdoodle into this whole picture because everything that Israel is trying to do, with his knave Black, to Dorothy Tetro is nothing but wickedness with acts portraying evil intent.
Dorothy is too busy doing her job and doing it properly and honesty, trying to rectify the mistakes of the administration. She has no time to answer the slimy accusations and personal attacks against her. Why you cannot see how wrong Dave is for the Village, why you cannot see how evil he is with his tirades and accusations, with his lack of transparency and his refusal to answer questions or provide information - it is just beyond belief. You seem to wear the same blinders he does, along with the ninnies. His words are not pearls; they are often drops of mud, even a stream of it and yet you all seem to wallow in it. While we state that there will be a time for wifi, but done properly and only then, all of you seem to go along with the NOW NOW NOW approach of Dave and Ed, just like their paving job and look what we got for that. A new administration will bring transparency, care, honesty and civility. These divisions that Dave has brought about are only harmful to the Village and serve no positive purpose. As my little grandson says, put on your listening ears and your thinking cap and for sure you will reach a different conclusion than the one you now profess.
