GOOD GOLLY MS MOLLIE, ARE YOU FOR REAL?
Mollie Marshall Thinks having
the Gestapo in the clubhouse creates an aura of peace. Sorry Ms Mollie that is exactly the way Adolph
Hitler started out.
When Hitler began his
propaganda campaign, he had armed troops in the audience. This was the way he
controlled everyone and this is NOT what I want to see happen in Century
Village.
Mollie also believes her
husband Bob is a saint. I beg to differ with you Mollie. Have you read this
blog when we posted a secret agreement YOUR HUSBAND BOB signed with Mark Levy
giving Levy the right to put the residents' money in his pocket in the event
the clubhouse was unavailable due to a hurricane?
What’s the matter Mollie? Are you having an attention span problem? This agreement YOUR HUSBAND BOB MARSHALL signed caused us millions of dollars in extras, which were not needed in restoring the clubhouse. And you dare to make this somnambulistic man who wants to run for Vice President of UCO a hero. Give me a break Mollie. Wake up from your fantasy and get real.
I don’t want an armed camp here in Century Village, and I don’t want your husband as Vice President. I want to get all the vermin out of office and see a sane and sensible person in charge. One who does not want to go back in time but only seeks to move forward.

RIGHT ON OLGA!
ReplyDeleteRIGHT ON, TOO - EDUARDO
ReplyDeleteRight on Three!!
ReplyDeleteNo, it's not "right on" excoriating a good and decent man to his wife like this, referring to him as "vermin." You should be ashamed. He and those who handled the cleanup and restoration after three major hurricanes hit us, two of them in one year, had an awful lot to contend with.
ReplyDeleteLanny, You appear to be an intelligent man but, sometimes your thinking becomes
ReplyDeleteclouded. You forget that BOB MARSHALL was responsible for signing a secret agreement with Mr. Levy giving him the right to hold the residents 2/3 share of WPRF dues in the event of a hurricane. He never told anyone about this agreement - he alone signed it.
I may guess that what he did may be considered a criminal act. And you dare call him a decent man. I think it's time for you to review this blog. This agreement was posted and you should take the time to read it carefully before you open your mouth.
By the way, I have never seen you at any UCO meeting. If you took the time to attend, you would notice Bob Marshall half asleep most of the time and if he were a decent man and was unable to stay awake at meetings, he would have resigned from the committees David put him on. OH NO!, instead he puts his head up only to vote for Dave's agenda, whatever it is and not having a clue about what transpired.
Lanny, By the way, I forgot to mention that the so call cleanup and restoration of the clubhouse that Bob Marshall and crew was responsible for cost the residents millions of dollars in overruns because of that secret agreement.
ReplyDeleteI question my intelligence myself, Olga, excellent point.
ReplyDeleteI would say, though, that only Mollie would know if Bob is a somnambulist; but should it be true, I would have to say he has accomplished more while sleepwalking than most of us have while awake.
I know I don't show up too much at UCO meetings, you are right, and I don't like to talk in public. I always think of what I should have said about an hour later. In my defense, I was away all summer, staying at my son's, near Boston. The story of my drive back ("Highways, Byways and Wrong Ways") may be in the Dec. Reporter. I was at the last two delegates meetings and usually attend the editorial meetings; beyond that very little. I'm an old soldier, fading away, mind included if you are right.
This is a complete nonsequitur, but if you are into opera and like Maria Callas, you should get her recording of The Somnambulist by Bellini. It's fantastic. Better than her Norma, some say.
The best to you today.
Sorry Lanny, Bellini's aria La Somnambula puts me to sleep ( no pun intended) I happen to be a fan of Verdi and Puccini..
DeleteGOLLY-MOLLIE IS ONE PIECE OF WORK.
