Licensed to Carry

Mr. Rivera, a number of things have been said of you and about you in great detail on this Blog, including quotes from you, and you haven't responded to a single posting.  The unwritten law of mutual understanding and recognition in the civilized world dictates that if you don't respond to the matters put before you that are duly recorded, - it is normally deemed that all that is said of you and about you is authentic.

And, since you haven't responded to all that is now on record, then you are hereafter known to be a CERTIFIED FAKE.  The sad part about this is that you know it.

Now that you have admitted that you own a gun, - are you a FAKE or a FLAKE?  Because if you are on medication that may indicate that you are a FLAKE, owning a gun may be something people have to worry about.

  1. Eduardo’s post is so transparent to me, and amusing. He’s undoubtedly been having a high old time ridiculing Bob Rivera of late (I have to admit Eduardo’s “resigning/not resigning” post was a corker). But now, when Bob apparently won’t play the game any longer, Eduardo has lost his foil--and apparently his sole raison d’etre as well!

Like the schoolyard bully who has been having his way in a game, when the one he’s been abusing picks up his marbles and goes home, Eduardo cries, “No, Bob, no! You HAVE to play the game!”

Only, of course, being an “adult" and having to save face, Eduardo cites an “unwritten law of mutual understanding and recognition in the civilized world that dictates that if you don't respond to the matters put before you that are duly recorded, it is normally deemed that all that is said of you and about you is authentic. And, since you haven't responded to all that is now on record, then you are hereafter known to be a CERTIFIED FAKE.”

Wow! That IS a mouthful, and a new one on me! Unfortunately, it still sounds straight out of the schoolyard.

This couldn't be true for the existence of the My Village blog as a whole, could it? That 95% of the reason for the blog’s existence is to feed off the alleged misdeeds of a certain targeted few?

    1. You've got it all twisted around, Lanny Howe. Bobby-boy Rivera was the schoolyard bully. Take a long look at the postings on the blog, - he was taking pot-shots every day....every day. And then, when he started coming after the fair sex for no good sensible reason at all, I simply had to neutralize this sick S.O.B.

You talk about Bobby-boy not wanting to "play the game any longer." Well, that's not quite so true. After a number of damning facts about Bobby-boy were brought forth, and left undisputed, the PRIVATE blog controllers apparently saw that he was an embarrassment to UCO just by moving his lips, - and I believe they prohibited him from making postings unless he spoke without being so brash and insulting. On the PUBLIC blog, when Bobby-boy spewed out nothing but pure unadulterated garbage, his postings were removed by the Blog's Administrator, and rightly so. So your schoolyard yarn is something you just conjured up in defense of this loud-mouthed character, and believe me, - he is a character.

Oh, by the way, while you're up there in the great Rocky Marciano City of Brockton, may I suggest that you stop in at McMenamy's Seafood on Belmont St., and get a bucket of steamers and their Fisherman's Platter, - you'll never finish it unless you haven't eaten for two days.

    2. It would seem to me that this man, Eduardo, has gotten it right. I happen to like and I agree what he says about Bob Rivera. Rivera is the BULLY, and Eduardo put it right to him. Congrats, Eduardo, I'm on your team. KOREA '53

  2. No, Lanny. The raison d'etre of this blog is to allow for free speech and for all to be able to respond to issues or raise them, something that cannot be done on the other blog unless they are one of the blessed disciples of Dave and Ed. Even on issues such as the uptick in car thefts, one is blocked and by the way, I would like to see statistics on that as it does not seem to be that way in the reports in the UCO paper. Could this be another way to refocus attention off of Dave's errors and by the way, several weeks ago I sent an invitation to Dave to call or email and have a sit down to see how we could all work together. Guess what? NO CALL OR CONTACT> What a shock!!!The response on the other blog about that issue that actually said much of what I think is the one which raises the issues of renters. I see many new people here who are not of age and some other characters. We must all be aware of what is around us and make sure the rules and laws are enforced. Perhaps somehow a censure of faulty condo associations could be made or even a loss of common privileges if they are bringing in too many renters with too little investigations. I do not know the rules and regs but there are many that do. Why not find a solution that way?

  3. Lanny,
You have appeared to have joined Bob Rivera on another planet.
This blog was created to inform the residents of the truth about what has been happening in the village. Bob Rivera and a bunch of David's sycophants are the people responsible for putting their garbage on this blog. I and some of my supporters have only responded to their lies and false accusations.
I know first hand that you are a supporter of Dave but I am disappointed that you do not have the ability to see through his
    façade.

  4. Esther, if you are concerned about an "uptick in car thefts" or any other crime in Century Village, the best place to obtain that information is the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, where accurate statistics are compiled and are made available to any concerned private citizen. PBSO, unlike UCO, is required to provide this information upon request. A supervisory officer from the Sheriff's office gives a security report at each Delegate Assembly, answers questions during and after the meeting, and usually attends the Security Committee meeting which you are welcome to attend and participate in.

This information is also available on one of the many Internet websites that gather and present crime statistics for public consumption. My favorite is neighborhoodscout.com, which lists Century Village as tenth safest zip code in the "334" postal district. If the Airport and one or two industrial areas are culled from that list, CV moves up to five or six safest.

So, Esther, there are many ways for you to excercise your right of free speech and your right to obtain public information, without fear of being "blocked", and without any requirement to become a "blessed disciple" of anyone.

  5. Don4060,

Esther is correct when she states we do not receive IMPORTANT
information immediately from David. Especially when the information may prove negative to him.
We are ALL concerned with the safety of the village and no one should be faulted for wanting information warning us of impending danger.
This blog, unlike David's blog is OPEN to ALL. It is only when someone replies with a stupid one or two liner that they are deleted. If you read this blog carefully you will discover that it is information oriented and both sides to a comment are printed. The people who attempt to disparage this blog with their one liners are the simpletons who support David Israel's at any cost of civility.

  6. Here is another great crime info app- CrimeMapping.com- info is updated almost instantly. No reason to rely on any other person to receive "important" information- just get it yourself.
