Bob Rivera has made a serious accusation against me on David Israel’s blog.
And since I am forbidden to respond there, I will respond here.
The accusation is this: “I am sure she’ll take the opportunity to spit
on my grave as she probably did to returning Viet Nam vets during her so-called
peace protests."
I was married to a man for 35
years, the father of my two children, who fought in World War 2. He was in the Navy on an LCT in Normandy
France that delivered equipment to the beaches. He enlisted at the young age of
seventeen because he felt that war was necessary. He returned home, as many soldiers did;
horrified by their experience, not by the justification of war but by the
horror of it. This was one of the reasons why he felt the Viet Nam's war was a
mistake. There was no justification for it. I and many of our friends felt the
same way. Therefore, we chose to protest
it. We felt we were protecting young innocents from being brutally tortured and
sent to death while the very politicians who were perpetrating the war kept
their own children safe by sending them to College.
The accusation made by Bob
Rivera, is a falsehood and is detrimental to my character. It is suggested he retract this lie on
David’s blog. When he does, the matter
will end. Should he decide otherwise it
will be a blain on him?
It is unfortunate that Mr.
Rivera felt the need to stoop so low in his attempt to discredit me, and the
fact that David Israel had to give him the vehicle to do it is commentary on
their heart of darkness.
*A further note to this
article is a reminder that Robert McNamara Secretary of Defense in the Kennedy
administration who was a consummate hawk and helped to escalate the Viet Nam's
war had pangs of guilt, and before he died, he openly admitted to the world that the Viet Nam's war was a huge
mistake.
Somebody should spit on Bob Rivera now - never mind waiting for him to be in his grave! He is a sick, disgusting human (maybe not) being. Anybody who would say the things he does and feel proud of himself while doing so, is definitely not normal. He and his sidekick David are cut from the same mold, and a very moldy one at that.

It appears that Israel pushes Black's buttons and Black pushes Rivera's buttons. Rivera will say and do whatever they tell him. Know that Rivera has been accepted into His Highness's inner circle wicked club, but he's a pawn - and is one of those jerkos that feels safe behind his DD-214 that he waves in everyone's face. ATTENHUT! A DD-214 has just entered His Highness's domain.

Then they tell the lummox to go write something insulting and stupid on His Highness's blog, - AND HE DOES! Olga, he may get so pissed off, he might sic his dog on you. His dog wears some of his ribbons so watch out when he growls.
So, Olga, understand that you're dealing with one of the dictator's mob. This mob is like Mussolini's Facists; all followers that are on your side only when they believe you're winning. Rivera is expendable; they'll dump him like tobacco spit when they believe he'll serve no further purpose to the inner circle of wickeds.

ReplyDeleteApologize? for what? That's fine that your husband served, at least someone in your family did. Kudos to him. What did YOU do to SERVE your country? oh yeah, you protested. Instead of backing the service men, the protesters spit on them when they came home, they called them baby killers. You and the people like you have no idea what it's like to go to war. Your country asks you to go, you go. Plain and simple. I shall not retract my opinion. Just as you won't retract yours when you came into the Reporter Office and said that I should have died in the war, while spewing filth came out of your mouth. Say you didn't, again. Just because members of your family were honorable enough to serve our country, doesn't automatically make you honorable. THEY went, THEY served. Not you. Are you jealous that I have a dog, you sure do mention her a lot. My dog is a nationally registered Service dog. What Service? Well guess what, her service to me is none of your business. the fact that she IS a service dog gives her access everywhere the public is allowed. BY LAW. Jealous that I ride a motorcycle? I have no shame in serving my country. I Proudly serve in two conflicts, Operation Just Cause and Desert Shield/Storm, I served on SIX U.S.Navy ships. Sacrificed being with my family to protect the freedoms you take for granted. I didn't hide under my bed nor would I now.
I would love to see some of the idiots on this blog live in some of the countries that I've been to and try to survive. 50% would be put up on a wall and shot without a trial, the others would be jailed. Think about that when you try to twist my words into your little propaganda.

DeleteI am a World War 2 Veteran who was on Omaha Beach in France on D-Day. I can tell you war is a terrible thing. Anybody who thinks different needs help. I saw terrible things happen which should never happen to anybody. Maybe something terrible happen to Mr Bob that he should get help.

When we go to war because of tyranny, it’s justified. When we go to war because of religion or economic reasons, it’s questionable. When we go to war because of some Washington dimwit, we’re crazy. It is unfortunate that you were unable to differentiate the reasons for war and jumped in when the powers that be said, GO.
You are correct when you say I do not know what it’s like to go to war, but I can understand and sympathize with the horror of it, and it is for this reason that I can protest when I feel a war is unjustified. I regret you were unable to do so because if you were you may have avoided a lot of unnecessary anger in your life.
You are also correct when you say some peaceniks spit in your face. The factions that did this were on the West Coast. I happen to live on the East coast, and did not participate in such actions.
FYI: I am not crazy about dogs or motorcycles.
I personally don't care if you are crazy about either, they are here to stay. I am not the only motorcycle owner in the Village. As far as the dog, nothing you can EVER do. Unless you want to wind up in FEDERAL court. Check with your lawyer. Your friends don't like it, take me to court. You guys are good at that. Just remember, YOU WILL LOSE. And punitive damages tend to be VERY high.

post or grab the mike at a delegate meeting that holds no truth.
I have yet to read you applaud David for all the money savings,
excellent ideas for improving CV and the many many hours he gives
to keep improving and making CV one of the best gated places to
live. It is people like you that put a black mark on CV. Why
not make a complete turnaround and open you eyes and ears and
and admit that you knocking down David is wrong and you should
compliment David and tell him you are sorry for all the ill remarks you always make to one of the best President of CV and

DeleteYou said David made many improvements to the village, but no one can name them. You also say he saved us money.
The truth is, he came close to putting us into bankruptcy.
The only reason we are slowly becoming solvent is thanks to Dorothy Tetro our treasurer.
How can I possibly compliment a man who continuously feeds our delegates misinformation in order to achieve HIS Goals?
If,as you say, Mr. Israel is FOR the residents and is the best President we ever had, we would not be in the quagmire we are today.

ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon this website accidently and I would like to correct an erroneous statement.
ReplyDeleteI am from the San Francisco bay area and I was present when Joan Baez and Bob Dylan were advising recruits that they did not have to go to war during the Vietnam protests. At that time their were a group of right wing supporters of the war spitting on Joan and Bob Dylan.
I needed to correct this gross error and let people know who the real villain's were in this melee. They were not the war protesters, they were the supporters of the soldiers.
