Hidden Staff Meetings

STUFF THE STAFF MEETINGS

 Each week, an illegal staff meeting is held at the UCO office under the supervision of David Israel.

Under the Florida Sunshine law, all meetings held by UCO are to be open to the residents. These particular “STAFF” meetings are closed and information discussed is not made available to the residents. The reason given by the President of UCO is that these meetings are not open because they are considered staff only and are for the sole purpose of exchanging information which if this was true he would be correct.  The problem is, this is not the case. I have recently become aware – although I have suspected for quite some time – that more than the sharing of information is discussed at these meetings and therefore, are not to be considered staff only and should be open to the residents.  It’s time for David Israel to stop breaking the Florida Laws and start abiding by them.  

David seems to believe that Laws are only made for others to abide by, and for him to break.

It’s time for an honest administration to take over UCO.
