  1. Gary, thank you, thank you. On this miserable day when once again Jews are slaughtered in the streets of Paris, France, with 4 dead and 4 critical and possibly children amongst them, we must remember the gifts that G-d has given us and music is one of them. In the camps and killing fields of the Nazis, Jewish composers wrote operas, operettas, children's plays and songs galore. So even though that nasty creep called me a disgusting piece of trash yesterday for mentioning music - I believe I am right and I hope that this Ode to Joy has given hope to at least some people today. May the Sabbath please usher in better times, more peaceful times for us all.

  3. Once again, Gary, you put this on at a time of great need. I can just see this being played by a heavenly orchestra as 7 pure souls entered into the presence of G-d. These were my student's children and my heart breaks for her as she lies in an induced coma in the hospital. Music can do much for the soul and the heart. Just look at the faces of the audience - from young to old. If only there were more music in our lives.

  5. MAGNIFICENT!!!! This video is a real deep mood-changer.
Since Israel & Black like to spend our money on frivolous things, why not have speakers installed in the clubhouses, at the pools, at the courts, along the roadways, at bus stops, everywhere, -- and let everyone hear Beethoven's Ode to Joy? You might even get the oppressed and depressed CV people to smile a little and say "Have a real nice day!"
Unfortunately, Israel & Black would take over that speaker system operation, such as they did with Channel 63, and they would not permit anything that they cannot fully and absolutely control. EDUARDO
