Do you, the Resident, feel that you are as safe as you were when you moved in? I say NO.
There are many threats to our safety now. If you are looking to UCO for help, forget it. The attitude from that quarter is, it is NOT UCO's responsibility. It is the responsibility of the individual Condominium Boards.
Maybe. But there are Condos out there that don't have a Board of directors. There is one Association that has given up their rights almost completely. One of their owners own 15 units out of a total of 29. He has warned us that he is about to advise the balance of owners that they must sell to him at Appraisers prices.
Then there is the Condo that allows Visitors to rent a unit for one day or one week. This has opened up the Association to undesirables. In effect this Condo is running a business and a Motel. Both of which are illegal. Remember the State says we are a Senior (over 55) Community.
UCO's attitude is that all of this is the fault of the Association and can only be corrected by their Board.
This is an over 55 Community. Yes, but we have school buses stopping here. Why?
Still feel Safe?
