AND THE SILENCE IS DEAFENING

Olga has recently posted an article about peace in our time. I have written so many times about peace and cooperation. Many have commented that these are great ideas yet why have we not heard from the "other" side. Well, we have heard from Bob who also has now pleaded for peace and cooperation. And the response from David Israel and Co., - a loud and deafening silence. Not a word. Not a peep. Zip. Zero. Nada. Riens. Why is that? (What is the meaning of Riens? - Editor)

It is because they have nothing to say, are allowed to say nothing by the master, David Israel. What can they say? We do not want to cooperate? We only want to call you names and write negative things about you? Truly, what can they say? Unless they agree with us, agree to work for the Village and not for themselves, or rather for the maintenance of David Israel's power, then what can they say?

What they can say, what David Israel must say, is that we are ready. We have seen the light and it ain't us! We, who were in the dark, now are coming into the light and we will work with you all. We will work for the benefit of the Village.

The other day I met a lovely woman, bright, intelligent, creative, active in the Village, an owner - just the type of resident we want to have and keep. Yet she is moving. Why? Because she cannot keep up with the fees as they rise and rise. And why are they rising? Because of the wastage in our budget and in UCO's actions. We wasted five million dollars and will need to find the same amount or more soon. Instead of looking at that problem, we are running ahead with WIFI even as the pool WIFI is having connection problems, even as people are saying we do not want Village wide WIFI. We have our own or will do it with our building. And the list can go on and on.

David Israel, I once again call on you to rise to the challenge of working well with others, of hearing other voices and not just your own or those of your lackeys. I call on you to answer. WHY WILL YOU NOT AGREE TO WORK IN PEACE AND COOPERATION WITH OTHERS IN THE VILLAGE? WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO WORK IN YOUR OWN LITTLE WORLD TO THE DETRIMENT OF OTHERS. You are forcing people out.

Where will our Camelot be when you are through with it? I shudder to think. Come back to the people. Work in peace and harmony, with courteous disagreement and cooperation and compromise. Try it. You might actually like it.

  1. It may be that Bob is calling for peace because he has experienced the brutality of war in the army. David Israel has not been subjected to that experience since he was closeted in a room married to a computer most of his life, therefore, is not motivated to seek a peaceful solution. Rather, he appears to enjoy the sport of being the King watching the gladiators being torn apart by the lions. He is the classic example of a psychopath.

  2. Olga, perhaps you are correct, even though David Israel maintains he has saved the country numerous times. Just ask him and he will tell you. He has so many tales of the Cold War that might "interest" you - not! He is entangled in his own mind and a legend in his own mind and refuses to listen or hear words of peace, but his not responding is killing him and his dudes. They have no answer - either yes or no for yes means giving up their dictatorship ideals and saying no then exposes their rusty underbellies. But we must try something before it is too late. You reading this, David Israel? Man up, gird your loins, as the Good Book says, and ask for a conference, extend a detailed offer of reconciliation, not a useless statement of just apply to be a volunteer since we all know how hat turns out. How much longer do you think this can carry on?

    2. What would he say? What could he say? He has a reputation of saying one thing and meaning another. The man is not trustworthy. David Israel is not trustworthy? He must bt gone. He cannot be in the middle of a conversation where trust is paramount.

  3. Olga: Your last statement couldn't be any truer! I recently had communications with him through email, which wasn't going very well. His last email to me had a "redirect" attached to it. What is a "redirect"? It directs you to someplace unintended. In this case, every time I opened the last email, I was directed to a frivolous news article. It was his way of ending the emails. It was malicious, to say the least, and only someone with extensive knowledge in this area could this. He should not be in any position of authority. I repeat, your last statement couldn't be any truer!
