The Wizard & Term Limits revisited

One of the arguments against Term Limits was that there are not enough good people available for Committee work, therefore we need to recycle the existing people. So how come when a qualified person applies she is told sorry no room, we have a waiting list? And/or the Great Wizard** ignores her application.

We need now and will always need good people to administer this Village and small minded people should be eliminated by Term Limits if all else fails.

** Great Wizard refers to the Wizard of Oz, or maybe it should be the Scarecrow?

While we are talking about Road Repairs please understand this. The roads cost us about $5 million divided by the number of units, about 9700, let say 10,000. that works out to $500/unit. That is monies spent, not well, but spent. Now what is it going to cost to fix the roads properly $5 mill?, $3 mill?, $7 mill?. Well if you want to do it right and once use the $7 mill number. Now take off of that what the Lawsuit brings in, the balance is out of our pockets. So call the lawsuit frivolous, call it stupid, it still is going to save each and everyone of us a bundle. The leader fights this since his reputation is on the line.

Right now the only way to get rid of inept officers is with term limits. Delegates! Hear us - Vote term limits in!
