Could not pass this one up. Too good to let go.
UCO EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING, MARCH 32,2014
Yup! that is for real. Sent in the Initiative, a month late by the way and that is the date on an official document. Wonder how well that would go over in a legal issue. Lucky there was nothing of any substance at the meeting, just the usual rubberstamping and we all love each other atmosphere and business. That is our UCO today.
So.... Houston, we have a problem! Who is running this asylum? I have an idea - one hour and I bet I could teach all you guys out there the old rhyme of " 30 days has September....etc." However, the point is - seriously, March 32! How many bricks short of a full load are we here and how many people let this go by and/or did not catch it. What else have they missed?
We do need some fresh blood in there, but nobody is being let in. Out of eight applications for committee membership, even as David Israel pleads for volunteers in his Reporter article, guess how many answers and acceptances I have received. NONE, apart from one from Barbara Cornish who had the courtesy to call and tell me there was no room at the inn (another day on that) and there was a wait list but I am being placed on it. Where are the answers from the other chairpeople? OH, who are they - David Israel, Marilyn Gorodetzer - getting the drift, are you?
So.... Houston, we have a problem. Oh, Barbara invited me to the meeting on the 15th, but cannot make it. Why? Seriously, I will be in Houston visiting grandchildren, who always have room at the inn for us! Wow, NASA is right there.....hmmm......
