From the poisonous pen of David Israel

"MALCONTENT ATTEMPT TO PANIC THE DELEGATES OVER NON-EXISTENT MONEY FEARS. - UCO VP MAGIC SOLUTION - "KILL WI-FI"

-
Today's Delegate Assembly was treated to Mr. Ed attempting to panic-monger the Delegates about money. He has been at the same old "pop-stand" for 4 years. He was wrong then, he continues to be wrong now. ALL bills are paid and being paid timely; Reserves are being slowly built up! So says David Israel."

But the gamble that the great one is taking, over next 5 years or so, with our money, is that there will be no need for reserves, there will be no expensive accidents. There will be nothing that will happen that is unforeseen and expensive.

Oh Yeah! What about the pipe failure at Borden Ave. Totally unexpected and expensive to the tune of $75,000

This is a Gamble that the President of Davidisraelland should not have taken. That gamble belongs to the Residents and maybe the Delegates. As a matter of fact there should be no gamble at all, Ever!!

Hi all,
Yes! Correct, UCO is a Mutual Benefit Organization, organized under FS-617.

Let's see who can find any mention of "Reserves" in FS-617!

Let us know when you do.

So this  is the attitude that I am complaining about. Do we care 617 or 718? Good business practices tell us have a reserve. In fact our own auditors say that at lease 2 months cash in the bank for operating accounts and that  the reserves should be backing up the future expenditures such as road repairs, infrastructure repairs, and such. Israel's attitude is that we are  current with our bills or at least they are being paid in a timely manner. That statement is probably not true.See Ed Grossmans post following. - Gary

Have we sunk to Recall yet!!??
Remember - Dump Dave

  2. David Israel says our reserve fund shortage of 1.2 million dollars is being built up slowly, but he neglects to tell you the shortage is being built up at a cost of $17 per month for each resident for a total of five years. He also neglects to tell you he caused the shortage by signing a five million dollar one page contract for the roadway paving which UCO engineers said did not have to be done for another 2-3 years. Some of you may recall; we did not have five million dollars to pay for the road at the time, yet David has the nerve to call Ed Grossman, who brought this to the attention of the residents, a panic monger.
David Israel is a danger to our community. He is sinking us deeper and deeper into debt. Soon we will all be singing phrases from the Tennessee Ernie Ford song, “ I OWE MY SOUL TO THE COMPANY STORE”.
