PROCESS AND PROCEDURE PROCESS AND PROCEDURE

PROCESS AND PROCEDURE PROCESS AND PROCEDURE

PROCESS AND PROCEDURE
PROCESS AND PROCEDURE
PROCESS AND PROCEDURE
PROCESS AND PROCEDURE

These three words cannot be emphasized enough in their importance, no, their dire necessity, to the smooth and proper functioning of any entity, be it a small or large group, a GM or a CV at WPB. When process and procedure are not integral parts of the entity, there is trouble afoot, major trouble.

When an NGO does not have process and procedure, there is trouble in its funding and spending and you have bankruptcy and scandal. When a big business like GM forsakes its process and procedure, it has the ongoing scandal and major business catastrophe and human disaster that is now happening. And when an 8 million dollar senior community forsakes its process and procedure for over four years, it rings up a major shortfall and guess who that is - US!!!

For four years David Israel and gang have been playing around with the numbers of the budget, forgetting that in the long run truth will out and faulty financial shenanigans will out. There is only so much shifting of money around that can be done and when a major, though unauthorized figure in UCO, states openly that robbing Peter to pay Paul is a perfectly sound financial principle and proceeds to act accordingly, one had to know we were in major trouble. It was only due to the hard work and constant struggle of Dorothy Tetro that we were able to stave off the problem and inevitable for so long. The delegates whom David Israel took out of mothballs to come and vote and his moronic followers who drank not one, but many cups of Kool-Aid, refused to see what was in front of them and what was told to them and now, ladies and gentlemen, the troubles of River City are upon us.

We will have money. We will have money. That was the constant refrain of David Israel. Well, guess what. WE DON'T!!! With very careful work and oversight, we can get out of this hole that David Israel and Ed Black have dug for us, but we must be very careful. We need careful oversight and removal of David Israel from the equation. We need the sharp eye of Howie O'Brien and his tenaciousness, the ideas that Ed Grossman had for raising money, the insight of Dorothy Tetro (and skip the idiocy of living quarters, please), and the experience and skill of George Lowenstein as Treasurer and President and accountant , all working together to find the funds, to find where to cut, to follow process and procedure.

During the campaign I stressed my experience in administration. I stressed that life experience was important. I stressed that David Israel had none worth anything as could be seen by his record and our financial state of being, but there are none so blind as will not see and none so deaf as will not hear.  Looking away from unpleasant events does not make them go away. Now what to do?

Get rid of David Israel. Recall him.
Get rid of Ed Black.
Get rid of his sycophantic and non thinking followers.
Set up the financial committee of the aforementioned people.
Follow process and procedure.
Get a new thinking lawyer who knows what is flying in life and what is happening in Tallahassee. One who will give the answer that is correct and legal, not what the President of UCO wants to hear.
Get ready for some tough times and tight pennies.
Go out and find the talent that we have and get them involved.
Stop talking and ignoring process and procedure.
Stop paying lip service to process but in reality pay it no attention.
In other words, run this village as it deserves to be run, as a business that has a positive balance, a solid financial plan and thinking people at the head.

Run this Village as a democracy with voices allowed to be heard, with a free and open press. The Constitution does not stop at our gates!!!

And really, if the delegates cannot see their way to running this the way it should be, to voting with their thinking caps on, then so be it and vote for a change - one owner = one vote. Yes, a popular vote. How quaint an idea. I think it is called democracy, a rare commodity around here lately.

Now is the time to begin Recall Procedures
Now is the time to Recall David Israel
