Lets take a look at the history of David Israel's firing his volunteers. Any of the Volunteers that were fired were fired for no cause. They were fired because Israel did not like their comments,or their ideas, or for no reason at all. They were fired because David Israel did like the the ideas that the Volunteer was espousing.
Howie was fired by Joy Vestal.
This firing by Joy Vestal was at the behest of David Israel. He was the one that was annoyed. He was the one who does not allow anybody to stand against himself, his blog, his channel 63, etal.
Howie is the definitive volunteer. He is knowledgeable and freely gives of his time and expertise.
Israel and Vestal are going to miss him.
Howie is and has been a great ASSET to this Village, we all know who is behind this, but as I conveyed to him "He is in Good Company" This has become a "Personality" conflict, if you don't agree with the "so called Know it all's" your out the door! Shame on the Co Editor's of the paper...Your a disgrace!

Unfortunately the Paper, has deteriorated over the past yr or so...( having served since mid 2011 up until I too was "Terminated" earlier this yr. & a few other's as well) we all know who is responsible for that...Actually it's more of a duo than a trio...calling the shots....I am confident knowing that they too will get their just desert , sooner I hope than later...
When no one else runs, how would you ever expect the current clowns to get their just dessert Betty? Who in their right mind would willingly put themselves in a position to endure the abuse they would have to take in order to run for the position of UCO President? If nobody runs, no changes can occur because term limits have been abolished. Dave wants to be president for life, and he probably will be if term limits are not restored, and you can kiss Century Village goodbye. I too, am a proponent of outside management. However, it may not even be affordable. Then where does that leave us?
ReplyDeleteCarole, It couldn't possibly be more expensive, considering we are paying a part time CAM 75 K..in addition there are other areas, that I believe would be"trimmed"..(Electricity, supplys (tremendous waste of paper/no doubt ink as well) shall I go on?) in addition, we would have PROFESSIONALS, and not those, who are not! (LOL) your apology accepted...
