Electioneering in Century Village.

I take it that L.Howe is talking about fairness in the coming election and fairness in the electioneering accompanying it. It is a shame that people that are knowledgeable or, at least, should be knowledgeable, about the practice of vote getting in Century Village are not honest about it.

Look at the UCO Reporter. There is a column there where the President holds forth and brags about all his accomplishments. Included in this is his unabashed bragging and electioneering.

Where does the opponent's get a chance to do the same? They don't.

It is sad to note that the playing field, the electioneering efforts, are not the same for both camps. The sitting President has it all over his opponents.

Unless the Delegates recognize his call for additional power, his call to be a life long President and disallows it, this Village cannot go forward.

Look at what is happening. He keeps calling for a Broadband or WiFi against the wishes of the Delegate Assembly. This was voted down resoundingly. This time, he explained his dream.

That is to have a system that not only includes WiFi but includes TV and Telephone. In other words, he wants an AT&T or Comcast like business here in our retirement Village to be run by UCO.

The naive among us think and hope the expense of this will save us all some money. Not so. The cheapest thing you will find is to eliminate the WiFI by setting up an Association WiFi. Right now the telephone service has to be bought from a telephone company and the Cable from a Cable Co.

The only whiners I see in this landscape are the Minions who keep calling for the elimination of any and all freedoms for the Opponents.

In the beginning, the true Israel was showing but now as the Elections near he shows the kind and nicer side.

The elimination of all Bank Accounts except for one was done so that the taking of monies from one account to pay bills in another account was done so that you, the Villager, the Payor, would not know what was being spent for what.

The President acts as if he is the God-given savior of this Village. He has established a system of Emails, which are privately owned, by him. He has established a Village  Blog which is privately owned by him. He has a voice in the UCO Reporter, his opponents do not.

So we get back to the need for Term Limits. We do not have the advantages of the sitting President.

I vote for Phyllis Richland
I vote for Term Limits
