So, what is all the hoopla about Century Village and Wi-Fi?The Delegates have turned it down a number of times, at a Formal Delegate Assembly Vote. But Mr.Israel keeps pushing it forward. What is it about No that Dave Israel does not understand? We have voted on this at least 2 times already, maybe 3 times and he still keeps pushing it.
50 or 60 Associations have already gone to the private contract to get the Association it's own Wi-Fi the price is about $5 per unit per month. A lot better than the $30-$40 per month per unit that Israel would have to charge.
If you attend some of the Committee meetings you will hear Israel making up lies as to why the Association Wi-Fi will not work, can not work. But the fact of the matter is that it does work, it is provided by Comcast.
So, what happened at the Hurricane's arrival and the CV security? During the arrival of the Hurricane, the Guard gates at the entrances were empty. The guards went home I guess. Where would we be if the Cops or the Firemen decided to go home due to the arrival of a Florida Hurricane?
This is not good! It is probably not allowed by contract.
