Paving costs, Insurance, our pocketbooks

Paving Costs, Insurance. our Unit costs

Lets look at how this may play out. The bottom line is: what is it going to cost us?

Lets say to do the roads the way they should be done. Take off most of the surface, and add 4" of spec'd macadam and then let then cure properly. Have proper oversight and inspection. The cost could run maybe $8 million, maybe more. But lets stick with the $8 million number for now. Now if the lawsuit throws off $5 million we net $3 million, the lawyer get his 40% cut. This money is thrown into the road pot so now we only need $5 million to do the job right. Or we could lose the lawsuit and the the cost to us would go up to $8 million for us.

It seems to me you would be a fool not to back the lawsuit.

I envision the roads  and walkways all will be done as was Okeechobee boulevard

Now we have an infrastructure that will last about 10 years and not the 2-3 years we are getting now

Now look at what $5 million dollars cost each unit. If we have 15,000 units then the cost to raise $5 million is $334 ($14/month for 2 years) each. If the cost is $8 million the the per unit cost is $534. $22/yr/unit for 2 years). So pick your poison.

So look at your bank account and decide.
