Flummoxed again, again

So now that I am totally flummoxed, again, and as some more information surfaces. I write some more.

The first is that with the magical move of $700,000 from its hidden spot in the budget to its not so hidden spot. Is there a tax liability there? Is this some sort of profit? Remember we are a not for Profit entity. Did anybody check this out before the magical move? I don't think so!

How about the blending of charges? Did we have a delegate vote on that? I don't think so! So who gave the power in charge to do this if we, the Delegates did not? Was it  Ed Black? David Israel? Olga? Did Mr.O'Brien take it upon himself to do this?

I will tell you. Nobody gave the OK for that little change. That is nobody that is a majority of the Delegates. That is a Majority vote from the DA.

In some circles this is known as cooking the books. In Century Village Bloggasphere is it known as good sensible business. This is the way the Powers in charge like it. This is the way David Israel likes it.

It may seem sly and sneaky, but if it is OK with the head Wizard, then, dammit, it is OK with the balance of CV.

But it is not! And should not be!

Just where did the money disappear to?? And where did they find it with out affecting a penny in the budget??

And what about the WiFi money. Mr. O'Brien moved it out and then back into the W#iFi budget slot. Without a Vote by the Delegates. Not Good.

Maybe we need a Town Hall meeting to air all this out. Or maybe all we need is an Investigation by Pam Bondi the Attorney General.

Maybe, after thinking a little harder, the answer to our problems is to get the AG's office to run a full scale investigation into UCO and all its machinations, financial and otherwise. That could straighten out all our difficulties and injustices.

Why not?

  1. Right on the nose, Gary but we will never get a Town Hall on this because they will never be able to honestly and sensibly answer the questions posed to them. Much better to rush people thru things and hope they will never notice what is missing until too late and if someone does notice, why then just shut them down, cut discussion and defy the principle of transparency.
