Elaine Brown

DEAR ELAINE BROWN:

On the “private” blog when referring to UCO you state that it is a secular organization and “. . . god beliefs will be offensive . . .”

I wonder, Elaine, might these people be the same ones who do not stand to pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America?  Or perhaps they do not recite the pledge at all.

  2. UCO is not a secular society; a secular society is one without religious beliefs. If UCO as Ms. Elaine Brown states is secular it would mean UCO is an entity in itself; it is not; UCO was formed to represent ALL the residents of Century Village; Jews, Gentiles, Hindus, etc. It seems Ms. Brown believes UCO is a separate entity and should operate independently without regard or consent of the residents. Of course this is exactly what UCO has been doing in the past but since the residents have awoken from their long naps the tide is changing. The residents are taking back their village and if they have to pray to their own G- DS to help them get things back on track, so be it.
