THE SAGA CONTINUES

It is unfortunate that at the July 5, delegate's Assembly, the delegates decided to disrespect the snowbirds and voted to end term limits for all officers. When the snowbirds were here, the delegates voted to retain term limits, and as soon as they left David Israel and his entourage decided to pull a fast one. While the snowbirds were away, they put term limits on the agenda again. They have temporarily succeeded. . Term limits have been abolished but next month it will be on the agenda again, and delegates will have the opportunity to rectify the situation by voting to have TERM LIMITS FOR ALL.

I must admit that I was not surprised by the vote; I expected it.  Many of the delegates are not aware of the real David Israel. The one who has fits of anger, the one who uses his NSA experience to tarnish the reputation of his adversaries, the one who denies civil rights, and the one who circumvents the truth.  It is unfortunate that many delegates have come to canonize David because they are just privy to one side of him. I can just hope that in time; most of the delegates will come to awaken to his sinister side and VOTE TO HAVE TERM LIMITS FOR ALL THE OFFICERS OF UCO.

  1. Rest assured Olga. It will NOT be on the agenda next month.

    Are you deaf?
Didn't you hear them say it at the delegate assembly.
It's already on the agenda for next month.

  3. There were only two delegates that walked out on this vote. An injustice to their associations. They were not represented and for that I say SHAME ON YOU.
All the rhetoric, quoting our founding fathers about "taxation" without representation, and what did you do? Walked out without voting on the issue.
Each association has a delegate and an alternate to ensure representation. The fact that you and Grossman walked out without representing your associations says a lot. Maybe those associations should recall their delegates and send someone that will represent them, but that is for your associations to decide. Hopefully after this next meeting, this can finally be put to rest as the voters have already spoken.
Business at UCO does not come to a complete halt because the snowbirds go home after the season, nor should it. while there are many that care about their investment, many more come to vacation and would rather vacation than be bothered with the day to day business. Those that are interested in the day to day functions of UCO are most welcome and their voices will be heard, so please stop trying to disrupt it and let us get back to making this THE PLACE to be.

    1. To Bob Rivera:
The real injustice is in NOT HAVING REPRESENTATION FOR ALL RESIDENTS. The gang you represent have fought fearlessly to kill the ONE VOTE AGENDA. The real shame is on you who dare speak for the majority of residents who do not have a voice.
Eliminating Term limits is only an emergency to David Israel who wants to be the PERON of Century Village. Otherwise this issue was NOT Crucial and could have waited till the snowbirds returned.

    2. I really can't understand how you could be so blind. you really need to have you eyes checked and stop bumping into walls, it seems to be doing irreparable damage to your senses. Eliminating term limits give the people a choice! The vote at the meeting that you and Grossman walked out on and failed to represent your association was proof that THE PEOPLE want to have the choice. They don't assume as you do that they don't know how to vote. the only injustice done was when you two walked out and totally looked like fools, especially when your other cohorts remained to cast their votes for their associations.
You are so concerned with the possibility that Dave Israel will get elected again, but the one question you haven't asked is does he WANT to run again? Have you ever asked?
NOPE....you are truly earning your new nickname...MISTRESS OLGA.

  4. I figured that crazy Olga was behind ANOTHER attempt to float a petition to place term limits on all UCO officers. She, Grossman, Solomon and Karpf need to get the heck out of Dodge. You four are miserable human beings that are trying to make the rest of us miserable too. You will FAIL again Olga--for the rest of your miserable life you will fail.

  6. Dear Bob,

Read up on your legislative laws and maybe you will understand why two intelligent people walked out of the meeting.
Century Village will be THE PLACE TO BE when we get rid of David Israel, his cronies and the likes of you.

  9. I am a delegate and leave CV for 3 months every year. My building is entitled to two delegates. When I am away we have an alternate who takes my place. Every Association should have alternates. I don't expect CV to come to a halt just because I'm away. Snowbirds come back at all different times. Some come in November but most of my friends come in December and leave the end of April.

    1. Dear Joyce,
"Every Association should have an alternate" is a nice choice of words but the fact is there are many associations that do not even have one person to represent them. This is the reality of what we are dealing with in Century Village. It's always nice to dream about a perfect world
where things are as we would like them to be but sometimes we must face reality and deal with WHAT IS.

    2. I realize that many Associations are not represented at the Delegates meetings but if they don't care about who runs CV you can't force them. Some of my snowbird friends would have a hard time coming up with the names of our officers! Still, as repeatedly said we cannot stop and wait for those people to return as most of them don't even care. The come with their golf clubs and sit around the pools with no interest at all in our village.

    3. wow Joyce, do you think that sunk in? It might take years for that comment to sink into such small minds. But one can only hope....
