Civility and Disruption

It's the same old complaint again and again.

If we oppose then we are labelled Uncivil, Malcontents, Obstructionists, Disruptor's and just bad people.

But if we agree then we are on the Good List.

What is the matter with these people? Are we not allowed to oppose, are we not allowed to question, are we not allowed to offer an alternative opinion without being called names. If every idea we put forward is to be labelled as Malcontent, as obstruction then there is a problem at UCO. He can't face new and alternate ideas.

His, D.Israel's, idea of a well run, good Delegate's Assembly is one were there is no opposing. Everything put forward by the Master is Voted on quickly and passed. No problems. That is not the real world. That is the world of the Wizard of OZ. Inhabited by the Wizard of OZ. Our own David Israel.

What would Jefferson have said? What would John Adams have said? What does the Bill of Rights say? What would any of our Founding Fathers say? David Israel calls them Malcontents, they certainly were, and he certainly would have.

Now we have election. The opposition are being called names. Why? Is that the way to win elections? Is that the way to eliminate the Opposition? With name calling? I don't think so.

We now have a Town Hall Meeting called by the Messenger Club. Here we will have a opportunity to hear the Candidates tell us how they feel, and what they propose to fix the many CV problems. They should come to this meeting. You as Voters should come to this meeting. Here, at this meeting you will get enough information without the name calling or silencing that goes on at the Delegate's Assembly.

If as a candidate you don't come to this meeting then we should have no use for you. We will not hear how you stand on the various CV problems and we will not vote for you

As a matter of fact, we will advise the rest of the Delegate Assembly not to Vote for you.

What precisely is the matter with attending this meeting and meeting with the Delegates? What are you afraid of?
