No Respect

DOM GUARNAGIA AND RODNEY DANGERFIELD GET NO RESPECT

For the last six months Dom Guarnagia has saved the Village $60,000. When Roger Carver quit, Dom stepped up to the plate to take over his responsibilities thus putting the salary of a CAM into the UCO fund.

Dominick did this voluntarily while maintaining his duties as Vice President.

Dominick is also chair at the Bid committee in which he has put a great deal of time and effort. Now David Israel comes along and disrespects Dom by stating the bid committee has no relevance. David’s attitude is abhorrent and sends a message to all the officers of UCO that they are unimportant.

Would you want to run for office in UCO under these circumstances? I think not.

David Israel continues to treat people like dirt and the sooner the rest of the officer’s wake up to this the quicker the total revolt will take place.

In the meantime, put the Wi-Fi off for this year and concentrate on getting the Colonel and his gang of 5 out of here this spring.

  1. I guess Bob Rivera gets no respect either. No one talks to him on his blog so he decided to return to King David.
Will someone with a big foot please step up to the plate and squash this bug?
This guy Rivera's war torn mental condition is getting the best of him.

  2. MY MY, HOW WRONG YOU ARE.
Rodney Dangerfield was a comic, and you are right, and Dom Guarnagia is also a comic, only for real he deserves no respect.
He's a school teacher who teaches mechanical drawing, and he makes little doodles in the corner. That's about all he does that one can call productive. We hired a CAM and the guy can't make a decision - Guarnagia won't let him and shuts him down every time. The CAM, Ted, has no choice but to play the game.
And, several of Guarnagia's decisions have not been such good ideas; he should not be doing what he's incapable of doing correctly.
He votes with Israel on almost everything, and he's a follow the crowd man, not to mention that he holds meaningless grudges. He shouldn't be a Vice President, nor should he be the Chairman of a Committee, - maybe a member of a committee at best.
No doubt about it, - he wants to make Israel shine, that was the deal, but Dom is no politician and he falls flat on his face in that category. Dom picked his Infrastructure Committee members, - Israel vetoed certain people who may have looked at him crosseyed at some point in time and Dom said nothing. Yeah, Dom is real strong.
So, what did Dom do in the absence of Roger Carver? Well, have a look at the roadways and the sidewalks, - need I say more? What did Dom do with the 300 plus pages of roadway and sidewalk Punch Lists, that were not monetized as you would expect, and mysteriously disappeared, and whittled down to about 6 pages? Dom saved the Village zilch, if you follow the money trail. He was involved with the paving and he cost us about five times what you say he "saved."
Take a look at SCANDALS, PART 1
And, Mr. Guarnagia handled the drainage system fiasco. Take a look at SCANDALS, PART 4. I don't need to elaborate on this; it's all there.
With Dom, don't count on a vote that you can trust, because what is his YEA today is his NAY tomorrow. And, I've said only the good things about him.
Personally, he's a nice guy. EDUARDO

  3. Please help me. I have been following this blog for awhile and I seem to detect some disagreement between Eduardo and Ms Olga.
Could there be a lack of harmony amongst the malcontents? Olga praises Dom and Eduardo put him down.
    What gives?

  4. Well, David (not Israel), even though I think you are. You have shown your true colors so please go back where you came from. And by they way, no one has to walk in lockstep with everyone else. That is how Dave (you?) function. We are not afraid of debate and discussion taking place in a respectful manner and then taking a fair and honest vote without threats and rantings and ravings.

  5. To David (not Israel): Welcome to the free Blog where you are able to express anything and everything that may be on your mind. Curse words have to be whispered.
Sorry to disappoint you, - but allow me to say that Olga and I are as close as peanut butter is to jelly. You see, Olga likes everybody, EXCEPT Cue-ball and Black-ball, and the train carriers.
Dominic is a nice guy, and Olga was taken in by his Massachusetts charm. Her expression was the satisfaction that Dominic replaced, so-to-speak, Roger Carver who didn't do very much for a $60,000. salary per year.
And, Dominic is a very smart and capable man, but not for the position he was in or the work that he took on. Olga was praising a man who is, perhaps, way above UCO, but, meld him into UCO and the way it is governed, - I don't believe Dom fits in to that type of bureaucracy.
By your referring to me and/or Olga as "malcontents," you sound like an Israel lackey -- just a "Yes" or "No" answer will suffice. EDUARDO

  6. Ms. Olga needs to clarify a point with David(not Israel).
You missed the point when you thought Eduardo and I were not on the same page. You can rest assured - WE ARE.
When I praised Dom for all the work he has done in the past, I did so in the context of what occurred at the finance meeting. The insult to Dom was an isolated incident that pissed me off and I felt the need to come to Dom's aid. Eduardo disagreed with my assessment because he took into consideration Dom's involvement with the roadway paving.
This is fine with me. This is not David Israel's forum. We are adults here and if sometimes we disagree on one issue it does not mean the world is coming to an end.
Eduardo has contributed much to this blog for which we are eternally grateful so you can rest assured Eduardo and Olga are as close as P.B. and Jelly. And, if you want to take a bite of the sandwich anytime, - feel free. This is a America and we believe in free speech.
By the way, Eduardo. I LOVE the CUE-BALL and BLACK-BALL.
