                              "LET'S GO TEAM"

For many years, the budget had to be passed in October. Suddenly, David Israel informs us that the budget, if not passed in October can be passed as late as December and,  if is not passed in December, will revert to last year’s budget.

OK, let’s do it. Let’s vote the budget down because David Israel refuses to abide by the Delegates request and take out Wi-Fi. Let’s show him who has the power in Century Village. Let’s remind him and all the Finance committee members, Officers and Executive board members who voted with David who the real bosses are; they are the Delegates. Let’s go team, we’ll vote the budget down and throw all the bums out in the next election,

  1. So now Olga, the Delegates are your friends; members of your "team".

Last month, you called them "Dummies".

Next month, after the budget is approved, what will be your new insult to 300 people who volunteer ninety minutes each month to sit as a captive audience for your manipulative theatrics? Will you call them Nazis, Zombies, or some new lunacy?

Will you refer to Canadian homeowners as "the French" and command them to "keep their mouths shut and their wallets open"?

Every day, another car carrier unloads at the Okee Gate. Another load of "dummies", back for another season of "The Olga Show". Let's see just how dumb they are.

  2. Dear Don 4060,

Just a little note to inform you that you have committed a felony for which you may go to jail and be fined. You admitted to this felony on Mr. Israel's blog and it was printed before Mr. Israel realized it was illegal and deleted it. Maybe it's time for you to quiet down and take a little breather. Those big guys in the jug don't like smartasses like you. If I were you, I would start to do, some serious thinking. Oh, and by the way, you should also consider getting a good lawyer.

Your hatred of the man clouds any kind of judgement in the shadows of what you call a mind. We will all wait and see what you will pull out of you rear end next. No doubt another tidbit of propagandist wisdom (in your mind). Maybe you should shut YOUR mouth and dig deep for something resembling intelligence. let's see if this gets posted, like the last four posts that didn't make it.
For the rest of your followers, I am collecting computer donations for the people that can not afford one, so if you have an old computer, have recently upgraded or planning to, consider donating your old computer and let's give it to someone that can't afford it.

    2. Dear Bob Rivera,
I guess you have decided to come out of the closet by disguising yourself as Bob's.
As you well know, unless you are completely oblivious to the American Constitution, the sign hanging out my window is my right of free speech.
You are a man of many contradictions. On one hand, as a soldier, you fought FOR your countries values. On the other hand, today, you fight AGAINST those very values you stood for years ago. I guess you are unable to know where you really stand. You are like a fish in the water swimming everywhere and going nowhere.
Yes, I do dislike Mr. David Israel. I dislike him for what he has done to the village. I dislike him for his lies, his underhanded tactics, his inability to admit his wrongs and countless other reasons.
I will continue my dislike him until I see him OUT OF OFFICE.
As for your being so gracious as to donate computers, I congratulate you for your generosity, but please, when you donate the computers to the people who cannot afford them, think about paying their additional UCO, WPRF and MANAGEMENT dues as well.
Now, to put this and any other issue to rest as well, I have decided to eliminate your future posting from this blog. One of the main reasons I choose to do this is because you have not contributed anything positive to this blog. The purpose of this blog has been to inform the residents of information that has been withheld from them and to give them a voice to express themselves contrary to David Israel. .Since you do not fit this profile, you are hereby BANNED. I will say to you as Mr. Israel said to me: YOU HAVE YOUR OWN BLOG, USE IT.

HAVE A NICE DAY MR> BOB RIVERA

  4. Hello Olga- rest assured, I did not commit a felony, or any manner of crime, ever. No need for me to "quiet down".

  5. Dear Don 4060
Of course you committed a crime. You admitted it on DAVID'S BLOG.
    I rest my case.

    1. Interesting! I had no idea that theft was not a crime, but as usual, Don4060 knows it all................so he thinks.

  6. A year or so ago, someone was trying to do a good deed for those in the village who don't have computers. She offered to purchase computers to be given to people, if monies were donated by other residents. That failed. She also tried to recruit people who would set up Skype encounters with loved of those who didn't have computers, so they could have visual contact with their family members. To the best of my knowledge, people without computers didn't rush to her doorstep, or the doorstep of any volunteers. I have no idea how many volunteers she was able to recruit, but the computer-less people apparently were not very interested in her very nice offer, and to the best of my knowledge, this 'offer' no longer exists. So Mr. Rivera, you too will fail. The majority of people who do not have computers, smart phone, tablets, don't have them because they do not want them. People talk at the pools, on the busses, etc. Not a single person that I have spoken to that doesn't currently have a computer or other device, doesn't have them because they simply don't want them...............not because they can't afford them. Like your cohort, Dave Israel, you don't listen to the wishes of the people. You think you can decide what the majority of others do and don't want. It's time you learned that you can't think for other people. They do have brains of their own, which may come as a huge surprise to the both of you. In fact, I find that their brains function a whole lot more successfully than yours or Davids'.

  7. Carole- sadly, I have to agree with you on this- well intentioned efforts to introduce computer technology to people on an outreach basis tends not to work. What does tend to work well is having expertise readily available to people who reach out for it. In this, Century Village is ideally suited, and the Computer Club is the primary means of aquiring that know-how.

Happily, cost is becoming less of a factor in this- flash drive net books cost less than one hundred dollars and top end tablets go on sale for two, and at some point, the Lifeline Program will make Internet capable smartphones available to qualified applicants. I believe that it is the smartphone/tablet end of the Internet device range that will allow the most people to take advantage of the wifi environment that is coming to CV.
