Oh my! That’s almost $1 million. Yes folks, $1 million and no details to be
had.
What a nice “slush fund”
and place to spend money without anyone knowing.
So, Mr. O’Brien, I’m
certainly not implying that anything is being hidden. However I do believe that it would be only
correct and proper for you to provide a full itemization –
including the dollars appropriated for each of the line items you have
included.
In the past, this might
have included landscaping, taxes, legal, insurance, office supplies, salaries,
taxes and many more. I would suggest
that you give the delegates the respect they deserve before having to vote on
an issue as important as this one. It’s
not only the TOTAL dollars that count. I
remember often telling everyone – “watch the pennies, the dollars take care of
themselves.”
And then, of course,
there’s Mr. Lincoln – “BUT, YOU CAN’T
FOOL ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME.”
