Who are they ?
How can you tell ?
It takes a special kind of person to be kind to those they don't like. It's very difficult to be kind to those who are not being kind to you. It is the acid test for humanitarianism.
It takes a special kind of person to consider the ideas of those who do not listen to them.
It is the acid test for compassion.
It takes a special kind of person to put value on opposing points of view. It's the acid test for fair mindedness.
It takes a special kind of person to step back and allow others to take the helm despite the conviction that others are not worthy . It's the acid test for trust in others.
It takes a special kind of person to be kind to a liar. Its' the acid test for leniency.
It takes a special kind of person to be kind to those who have wronged them. It's the acid test for tolerance.
We look for the virtues of humanitarianism, compassion, fair-mindedness, trust, leniency and tolerance in the candidates.
More importantly we should look for those virtues within ourselves.
Then vote for that “special “ person.
