I will tell you what I think.
The other day I had the opportunity to visit the Pools at the Club House. They are superb. The lap pools have been redesigned into a beautiful round pool, with paving blocks all around. Beautiful.
The indoor pool is still a work in process, but you can see this is also going to be beautiful pool and a pleasure to use.
Nice job, Eva.
Now take at look at some of the Private Pools, particularly the Wellington Pools. To say that they resemble something you might see in a 3rd world country is saying a lot. They look seedy and they are.
This morning, the Wellington Federation invited David Israel, Ed Black and Joy Vestal to promote their candidacy. The Lord also chose to speak by creating a rainstorm to drown them out.
ReplyDeleteThe clubhouse pools are beautiful because there has been money spent to make them so. Yet many people would rather live with the 1970 version of the Village and hoard money.
ReplyDeleteYes, there was money because the officers committee who controls WPRF budget gave them the money. Money which has been increasing every hear. Meanwhile, our infrastructure is failing and WPRF says we do not have the funds.
DeleteWhich is it? Do we spend the money for fancy pools and useless murals or do we spend it to keep the thermometer in the party room at a reasonable temperature in order for residents to not have to wear winter coats to keep from freezing or bathing suits to keep from sweltering?
Your choice.
Would we not, according to you, by fixing the AC be improving Mr. Levy's property?
DeleteIn reply to anonymous: fixing the A/C falls into MAINTENANCE, that's something we are obliged to do. Painting murals and adding stuff is IMPROVEMENTS. That's something WPRF is obliged to do.
