LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE
Well, what a turn of events. For a long time Dorothy kept pointing out that there was a problem with the reserves. During the campaign, Ed pointed out the same thing and so did I , asking questions, pointed questions and all we got in return were nasty comments and evasions. Well, folks, you elected this liar and his team and now the new Treasurer, who is just about the only one not scared of David Israel, has pointed out that we are SHORT BETWEEN 3/4 OF A MILLION TO A MILLION DOLLARS. You read it right!
You elected this guy who created havoc in his first two terms and then gave him another two years to wreak more havoc. He shouts about Wi Fi but we do not have the money for that. He hires armed guards because he is so fearfull for his physical self and that the truth will out and we do not have the money for that either.
Howie O'Brien pointed out the shortfall and it could be as much as $16 more dollars a month over 5 YEARS to pay off this shortfall and this does not include the increase that we will have to pay as the new contracts come due.
We need to move to an austerity budget, put WPRF on notice that fancy plans will have to wait and WE NEED TO THROW THIS DAMNED GUY AND HIS COURT OF DANGEROUS FOOLS THE HELL OUT OF UCO.
We have people who are barely making it now so how are they to pay so much more and when those hard hearted people of David Israel say, "Well, this is not a welfare community but a middle class community" guess what? These people were middle class when they moved in and now longer than expected lifetimes and very careless, perhaps even criminally malfeasant in financial doings have brought them and us to this catastrophic point. and what will David Israel do? Here you go -
"Well, alrighty then. (Gavel) We really aren't short. If we move A to B and Q to S and forget certain bills and do all sorts of crazy things, well, we will be just fine. Oh, and maybe we can sell room on the ugly Wi Fi tower", as if there aren't any other towers around for people."
People there is no easy way out of this mess and the blame falls squarely on our fearless leader's shoulders along with those of Ed Black and all the rest of the crew. And you know where else?
On all the people who voted him in and refused to see the truth as it was presented to them. Now is your chance to try to right the wrongs and when a recall motion goes through, make sure you vote properly this time.
