Dr.Uribe and Channel 63

Heres a link to a video I produced last year intending to air it on Channel 63. It's a good example of the kind of programming that residents of CV are missing . Dr Uribe practices in the village but for some unknown reason will not be practicing here any more. . i intended to produce and broadcast on 63 a series of these videos focusing on health issues of the elderly, but became discouraged by the obstructionist behavior of Joy Vestal and Ed Black and gave up in frustration .This one is very interesting as Dr Uribe claims to be able to cure diabetes in some cases and control it in others. too bad all the diabetics in the village were denied the opportunity to see it.

    Joy Vesta & Ed Black think the ADS on CHANNEL 63 are more IMPORTANT, than putting IMPORTANT INFORMATION on HEALTH MATTERS for the RESIDENTS of CENTURY VILLAGE. 63 is a CLOSE CIRCUT STATION for the VILLAGE to be INFORMED.

    RESDENTS are YOU going to let JOY VESTAL & ED BLACK, DECIDE what is BEST for the RESIDETS in the VILLAGE, to see on CHANNEL 63, when WE PAY FOR 63.

    The Dr's practice is in the 'IMMAGING BLDG', between Haverhill & our Okeechobee entrance, on the N side of Okeechobee..and all of the personnel who served our resident's will be moving over there, as of July 1...The explanation I received was that since "OBama Care" went into practice, they now must accept individuals, who do not reside in our Community, in addition to many of our resident's now subscribe to plans,such as "Humana", which have their own provider's,located elsewhere.

    As for 63, it most certainly does BELONG TO THE COMMUNITY, since we all contribute to it's upkeep! Neither one of the 2 mentioned, have the Capacity to put together any ORIGINAL programming....UP until the "Gragg's" came aboard, there
    was NOTHING, OTHER THAN 'MEETING NOTICES", or the occasional " OLD B & W MOVIE (which I believe is now shown, so I have heard)
    Concentrate on What you know, which appears to be NOT much! The paper continues to hire & fire volunteer's, so much so, that they have had to "HIRE" an outside source to solicit "ADVERTISEMENT'S", unheard of!!!!! What next?, will we all be "TAXED" to receive the 'BIASED" tabloid? which so many of our resident's have publically stated they do not read! Further more, what happened to the
    "Proof Reader's" of the Paper? all on Holiday?

      You are not quite correct when you say there was no one but the Craggs to air videos on 63. I along with others in the actors studio put together some very nice video and aired it on channel 63. It wasn't until i produced a set of programming standards at the request of Joy Vestal . That We started having trouble with Channel 63 , The first trouble was when John Cragg threatened me with physical violence at one of the committee meetings.The technical standards I proposed included a standard for sound quality, a standard that The Craggs and Ed Black could not reach, even though I had demonstrated the solution for their sound problems in our videos and showed Ed Black how to easily achieve it The solution disproved Ed Blacks hair brained theory that the sound problems the Craggs were having was caused by faulty equipment. I objected to John Craggs violent behavior in a letter to Joy Vestal which was ignored. Shortly after all this nonsense I became frustrated by the obstructionist tactics against our participation in channel 63 and moved on. The Craggs were more than happy to see me get this treatment and continued in their activities in 63 without objection. That is until they got the same treatment. The last effort was made about a month ago where a member of the actors studio attempted to place a promo video for the club on 63 and were refused. Ed Black was more interested in who made the video than he was with anything else. When he discovered that I had made it, The video was rejected. As for the Craggs , maybe if they had stood up and done the right thing when they saw others being treated unfairly instead of joining in . there might have been someone there to stand up for them.
