It was a shameful display at the delegates assembly today when Ed Grossman was booed by the delegates and called a liar by the representative from CSI.
It seems as though UCO has now had a change of heart and is promoting Comcast as their provider of choice for the upcoming renewal of the telecommunications/cable contract.
Ed Grossman informed the assembly that The Messenger Club was instrumental in bringing Comcast back into the negotiations with a better deal that includes the option of WIFI and a better price for cable TV. The representative from CSI immediately called Ed a liar and the assembly booed and jeered at Ed for making that claim.
I can attest and confirm that the Messenger club was instrumental in bringing Comcast back to the table as I was the person who made the calls to Comcast, and informed them that Atlantic broadband was being courted as a new service provider.
ERIC BURTT a senior director of Comcast was taken aback at the news that they may lose the contract and in subsequent discussions asked me for suggestions as to what I thought a new proposal should include.
My suggestion was mostly that it should include the OPTION to sign up for WIFI. and to get a competitive bid prepared for cable TV. Comcast quickly arranged a meeting with David Israel and discussed the details of a new proposal. The new proposal is now being promoted by David Israel in spite of the fact that he claimed that the Atlantic Broadband proposal that he intended to put before the assembly in March, is the best deal ever.
It is a shameful disgrace that the delegates would boo and jeer at Ed Grossman who collaborated with me in getting a deal that will save each and every unit owner in Century Village a good deal of cash.
Shame on those who acted like rotten children and are all too happy to join in a mob mentality. One would think that delegates would conduct themselves with a dose of good manners and decorum.
Shame !
