What is so impressive about John Kerry's suggestion that the US take in more Refugees. Say up the number from 70,000 to 100,000? Pretty insignificant wouldn't you say?

So why is any respect given to the Chief Clerk who is trying to force her religious beliefs on any body that applies for a Marriage License in her state. What is right about that?

Iran's supreme leader, that old man, says Israel will not exist 25 years from now. That's probably not true, that's probably more a wish than a fact.

Why would the opposition. the Malcontents, talk with the man that can lie to the Face of the Villagers. What could we talk about that has not already been said, been demanded, and been ignored? So if David Israel wants to to talk with the Malcontents first he has to stop lying. The broadband idea was turned down by the Delegates so why is he resurrecting it. The striping contacts was let without the Delegates advice. It was not a emergency. So admit it and lets go on! The best people to run Channel 63 quit because they were push to far by a non elected volunteer who has the ear of the President, fix that!

So, George, I will tell you where I stand on these various items.

To begin with I believe in Term Limits. I believe we should do all we can to get new fresh blood into the Village Administration. Don't forget Power corrupts and absolute Power Corrupts absolutely. We are getting to that point.

As for the freedom to electioneer in the Village, it does not exist, unless it is at the pleasure of the President. The rules for all of WPRF's property, the pools, the Island, the clubhouse are all propagated by David Israel. If you ask Eva for a rule change she says that it comes from Israel. This is an outrage and a shame. Before Israel these rules did not exist.

So lets look at the way the current UCO Administration is spending our money. The striping contract was let and implemented without any approval by the Delegates. The reason was that this was an emergency and had to be done fast. This problem was festering for 3 years and could have been done properly at any time. Remember Absolute Power corrupts absolutely.

As far as the Olga Affair is concerned, sure that was a stupid move by the PBSO, don't they Vet the source? Now that that anonymous complaint have proven untrue what is to be done about the complainer. It is obvious to all of us that that was a political move to frighten Olga.

And lastly what about Volunteers. Any and all Volunteers have to pass David Israel's tests of loyalty. So this means anybody that opposes his thinking is denied a Volunteer position. So this leaves out all the Malcontents, no matter how shallow.

So, where does that leave us? It leaves us with many problems all centering on David Israel. The sooner he is gone the better.

Decision of an Issue Ending with the 

Executive Board – and more

Let me first establish I have not supported Term Limits as I feel a person doing a good job should be allowed to continue to serve. A person not serving well can be voted out. I am a member of the Advisory Board and the Executive Board. I was out of town when the Advisory Board met to consider the Amendments to our Bylaws. Therefore I can only rely on what I have heard about what was said there. I did attend the Officers Committee Meeting as an observer. The Officers voted down all the proposed amendments. At the Executive Board meeting I listened and considered the positions for and against the motions. I concluded as above to not support Term Limits. I also did not vote for the other proposed amendments as the points made for and against could not allow me to conclude support for either position over the other. Perhaps I could have abstained.

Then came the word that the proposed amendments would not be brought before the Delegate Assembly. It was clearly explained that the Bylaws state that only if a proposed amendment is approved by the Executive Board does it go to the Delegate Assembly. Now I for one expected that the issue would go to the Delegate Assembly, no matter the Executive Board vote. I believe it has been so stated in the past. At today’s Delegate Assembly a number of people walked out in protest. I heard it stated there were about 50 people who left. Now with a quorum of 128 delegates, had a vote on the proposed amendments been taken today it would have required 86 affirmative votes to pass. Perhaps this can be seen as an enlightenment for those proposing the bylaw changes as to how much support there is with the delegates.

Now where does this leave us?  Not very well off I am afraid. For those in opposition to today’s proceedings, they might now be described as being between a rock and a hard place. An obvious thing to do would be to get greater representation on what we may now see can be the all decisive Executive Board. They have been trying to do so with limited success. If anyone expects that planning an absence of delegates in order to block enactment of a motion it would likely fail as the Bylaws provide that in the absence of a quorum the vote of the  Executive Board determines the issue with the exception of a conflict of Statutes or the Bylaws. 

On another issue. At the Executive Board meeting it was charged by some speakers that UCO elections are not conducted on “a level playing field” They state the office holder has the advantage of being already known to the residents while a challenger is not permitted to distribute promotional flyers. When I came to live in C.V. and for a couple of years candidates for UCO office were invited to present themselves to the residents at the Kent pool. I am uncertain if this was done at other WPRF pools. This practice was ended and no pool or other WPRF property can be used for election candidates to meet and introduce themselves to our residents. I have heard it said that this change was pressed for at the behest of office holders. I can’t say anything about that. I can say that at what might have been our first Operations Meeting with Eva Rachesky, that as I recall she stated she was ruling out politics at the pools   as this was how it was at C.V. Deerfield where she felt it worked well.

For those who attend the Delegate Assemblies I believe they know what to expect when Ed Grossman takes to the microphone. He will likely be raising issues and questions of matters he finds troubling. These things are sometimes delivered in a barrage of words and ends in being just that, without any resolution. I believe it was at the August Assembly that he addressed himself to Ed Black whose response was that if Mr. Grossman would ask one question at a time he would try to answer them. Well Mr. Grossman then asked his questions one at a time to which Mr. Black gave his answer. It seemed to me that Mr. Grossman considered each answer and seemingly accepted it as at least reasonable and may have even thanked Mr. Black.

Which brings us to the Delegate Assembly of 9/4/15. Here again Mr. Grossman rose and addressing PBSO Captain Bruckner he delivered a barrage of words. All that most of us know about a threatening email sent to Esther Sutofsky is what we have read on a blog or heard from others. Surely I denounce sending such emails and am concerned for her safety. It has been said that the sheriff’s response to the email is that they do not consider it a credible threat. While I don’t know all that PBSO knows I still find it unfathomable. I suppose I would need to know what is their criteria for being credible.  Recently, I have received emails seemingly from people I know that were determined not to have been sent by them. I have wondered who did send them and if and how it is possible to find this out. We hear a great deal about emails in today’s news reports and these suggest agencies like the FBI are able to determine who sent an email. In his forceful presentation to Captain Bruckner Mr. Grossman asked  “did you press the button”? Seemingly it is his understanding that doing so would somehow reveal who sent the email to Esther. Along with his commentary on the threatening email Mr. Grossman spoke about the report made to PBSO accusing Olga Wolkenstein of having a cache of guns in her home which brought a visit of 2 deputies. I feel certain they determined that the report was unfounded.  In introducing this matter I feel Mr. Grossman diverted focus from the email. Captain Bruckner having listened to all Mr. Grossman had said simply responded he heard no question and moved on. Well there was a question it was “did you press the button”? Which I feel was Mr. Grossmans way of being cute as though that’s how simple it could have been to find out who sent the email to Esther. Apparently Mr. Grossman lost sight of the exchange he had with Mr. Black last month as to dealing directly with one thing at a time without a lot of verbiage. Perhaps a better way of posing the question would have been to first ask if identifying the sender of an email can be done and then asking if so did PBSO do so? Then again, who knows? Is it not possible that PBSO is pursuing this matter and does not choose to reveal anything about it at this time?

Facts as I see them.

So, lets look at some facts here.

Number one the Great One has decreed that the Executive Committee controls the way the Delegate Assembly Votes. So if they say NO to a festering problem it will not reach the Delegates. Ala the Term Limits By-Law changes.

Number two, if the Powers to be do not act on  problem that last years, they can call it an emergency and spend the necessary money to fix it. Without going to the Delegate Assembly. Ala the striping fiasco.

Number three, if, or when the opposition reaches the height of annoyance of the Great Mind, he can sic the PBSO on you. Ala the Olga affair.

So, you begin the get the idea here. This is scary times. The UCO Manager is using the Baker Law, with the blind assistance of PBSO to hassle the opposition. It will not work.

As a matter of fact the latest is that Esther has had a meeting with the PBSO, Criminal Watch division, and the Hate Mail Mongers are being investigated. Their time has come.

I also note that the Very Private Blog is attempting to become the Village Blog. He is posting all the Village news that he can. That is good, but it still is not enough and to late.

He still discriminates against his opposition. He still does not allow the opposition to post or comment on this VPB!

Why do we keep him in office?

Emergency again!!

So, the Great one has decided, in the face of common sense, that the striping of the roads is an Emergency. They leave this situation lie dormant for years and then all of a sudden the sky is falling, we have a emergency that can only be resolved by the application of money, lots of money.

No, the Delegates are not to be advised. They are not to be asked to Vote on this. After all this is a 3 year coming Emergency. The delegates are told to mind their own business, this is a real Emergency.

So, you may ask, what is going on here? The Elected President is taking over the functions of the Delegates. He is doing this by decry. He is doing this by Executive order. He wants what he wants and when he wants it. The Delegates can be advising on something else. They can Vote on something else. This is too important for the Delegates. Right now Ed Black and David Israel are in charge and it's their way or the highway.

UCO Broadband again and still Nein!,Nein!,Nein!

So, what is happening? The Broadband initiative is supposed to be dead. The need of a Broadband was to be left in the hands of the Associations. But NO, the Mighty One refuses to let it lie. He keeps bringing it up and forming a Committee after Committee, to look into to it. He wants to see if he can sneak it through even though the Delegate Assembly has voted and said No to UCO Broadband.

What is it about NO, he does not understand?

Herb Finkelstein needs to have his brain evaluated.

Darling Herb, the sweet talking Rodney King wannabe of Century Village who wants us all to get along and make nice made another big mouth mistake.  Herb put his foot in his mouth after Myron Solomon spoke to the Delegate Assembly to remind them that David Israel illegally violated the bylaws when he did not allow the Delegates to vote on the road striping.   In order to show up Mr. Solomon and prove how smart he is, Herb said the following:  “We knew about this problem fourteen months and when it became an emergency, we had to act” - act on what and when Herb. Were you waiting for Godot?  Were you acting in a play of fools?  If you, the President, Officers, etc., knew of this problem fourteen months ago, why in hell did it take you so long to act on it?  When a person goes to the Doctor to complain of chest pains, the Doctor does not wait fourteen months or until the patient suffers a heart attack. He orders tests immediately. Why did you wait so long?

Wake up Herb, it is time for you to take a step back and resign from the Executive Board and all committees. It is time for you to make room for someone with common sense and smarts.

The Delegate Assembly Wars

So what exactly did happen at the last Delegate Assembly meeting?

To begin with El Presidente was very laid back. There was no bluster, no gavel banging, no calling for PBSO. All was very serene, even if Mr.Ed went over his time to talk, which he did, there was no reaction from the Great one. Even when Mr.Ed yelled at the timer person for banging her gavel continuously after the end of the 2 minute rule. There was no reaction.

It was as though he was tranquilized. Which maybe he was.

But to continue, right off the bat Mr. Ed took the mike and spoke with Captain Bruckner PBSO. He explained that the situation with Olga and the visit was wrong, and there was a more egregious situation with Esther and her hate mail. It was explained that a complaint was lodged with PBSO about that and it was replied that that was not a credible or viable threat.

So what happened is the the Captain did not hear the question. I will repeat it here.

"Why should Esther's hate mail monger not be a credible threat and Olga's is??"

But later it was noted that the PBSO Criminal Analyst left with Esther, so I guess this situation is going to be looked into. Which well it might.

So the meeting went basically unexcitingly except for the fact that Esther was appointed to the Executive Committee to fill an opening.

But wait, Esther, to make a point asked all Delegates that felt that the actions of the President were not in the interest of the Village should stand up and walkout, which they did. So did the quorum with them.

After the meeting there was another meeting when Eva, Manager of the Clubhouse accosted Mr. Ed in the lobby. The conversation they had was about the suppression of the CVMessenger paper in the Clubhouse as well as the suppression of all political actions on any Village property. All of which is controlled by Eva. All of which is further controlled by David Israel. The outcome remains to be seen.

Eva's argument is that this choice is not up to her. She seems to take her orders from David Israel in this regard. After all he holds the Village purse strings.

With or without Delegate approval.

David Israel with the assistance of Rod Tennyson has ordered the final solution.  By refusing to allow the delegates to decide bylaw changes, they have put us under a dictatorship in which the next step is annihilation.  We no more have the right to use our bylaws to determine our fate.  We cannot use our bylaws to protect us - we are no longer a Democracy; we are sheep heading to the slaughterhouse.  Since we do not have the right to use the law to determine our fate, we must use whatever means available.

The time has come to take back our village – to use the right to bear arms - to fight against tyranny.

For those of you, who do not understand the phrase “THE RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS," it is a defensive term used to protect oneself against tyranny. It does not mean you must go out and buy a gun.  It means when living in a government with absolute power – a tyranny, you have the right to defend yourself, and fight back.  You may use words, swords, knives, brooms, propaganda, peashooters - yes, even guns. The WORD (ARMS) does not specifically mean guns it does not mean it in the Constitution of the United States nor does it mean it in my article.  It is also   used as a metaphor, as a way of telling people, it is time to take a stand and fight back.

I deleted the phrase from my article because some people erroneously mistook it to suggest you go out and immediately arm yourself with a gun.

For the sake of freedom of speech and expression, I decided to repeat it as I originally wrote it.

A note to the individual who contacted the PBSO to visit me at my home, I want you to know that you have only compounded the animosity between the political factions in the village when you falsely suggested I might be hiding an arsenal of firepower. You have added many more enemies to the list of David Israel and his supporters. For that, I thank you.

Worse yet, when it was complained about Israel's and his Cohorts threaten Esther, and calling her names. They said this was not a credible threat, not a viable threat.

So go back up this post and read her post, what did she say that was credible and threatening?

MY COMMENT ON THE FINAL SOLUTION WAS EDITED BECAUSE IT WAS MISINTERPRED BY SOME INDIVIDUALS.   

History tells us when   we have a dictatorship, and no longer have legal recourse to air our grievances the next step is revolution.  When this happens, people need to protect themselves.    When we have a dictatorship as we now have in century village, my fear is someone will act out of frustration and become violent. David Israel and his zealots have put us in a situation where such an incident could become a reality.  I do not want to see this happen, but if it does, I may anticipate every law-abiding citizen to exercise their legal right to bear arms -  but before  such a disaster occurs, I want to see David Israel step up to the plate and return the power he has stolen from the delegates.

For the record, in the past, David Israel’s henchmen have threatened Esther Sutofsky and me.

Crimes committed in CV

So, what is happening here with Olga?? It seems as if the Great One has lied to the PBSO and called in his friends to investigate and hassle her about her stack of illegal guns.

Believe me she doesn't have any.

Israel is truly hassling her, for no reason. The PBSO has been lied to. Criminal acts have been committed. They must be prosecuted and punished

So Where does Israel get the nerve, the gall, the balls to call the Sheriff and lie to him and so get the troops out to hassle Olga?

Do you think think this is the first time?

How about the time he had the PBSO stand on the stage and looking around for threats from the DA? (we  paid for that). He has had some queer ideas as for the correct operation of the DA.

Now he has decided that that the Executive Committee has the right to turn down any Petition for redress addressed to the DA. He has activated a long forgotten rule and readapted it for his own purposes. It is a line in the By-Laws that has never been used, ever!!

A crime has been perpetuated and must be prosecuted and punished.

Running Scared

DAVID ISRAEL AND HIS CRONIES ARE RUNNING SO SCARED THEIR PANTS ARE TURNING BROWN.

An article I wrote recently on this blog provoked  David the Dictator and his sheep into neglecting to use the toilet to dispose of their waste. My article frightened them so much that after surveying the mess they made on the floor, they called in the troops to clean it up. Unfortunately for them and fortunately for me, I had the opportunity to have a pleasant chat with two delightful troop members of the Palm Beach Sheriffs’ office that paid me a visit because they were told I might be concealing an arsenal of guns to start a revolution. Too bad for you David I did not have any - I know you and yours truly would have gotten your jollies to see me handcuffed and trotted off to the hoosegow.  Sorry to disappoint but the only revolution planned is to get you out of office the good old-fashioned way; the ballot box.

Petitions and the DA

So, some obscure line in the by-laws. One that is rarely or never used, has become the center for the denial of the rights of the Unit owners to present their petition for a By-Law change to the Delegate Assembly.

This line has never been used. In the past all Petitions have eventually been brought up before the Delegate Assembly. Although occasionally some contracts that should be brought before the DA are not, and are put in force anyway.The stiping contract for instance.

But in this case these By-Law changes are denied. The reason? David Israel does not want his Lifelong Presidency put in jeopardy. He hates Mr.Grossman and he thinks and says I am a Cyber-Terrorist. Imagine, that is coming from a Bully-Boy.

Unjust? Of course. Typical of the UCO administrators protecting their turf? Of course.

What is going on here is that the Executive Board is protecting their future as UCO administrators The addition of the Term Limit By-Law change would push out the President (at the next Election) since his tenure is over 5 years long. The passage of the Term Limit by-law would end the tenure of many of the UCO Execs after 2-2 year terms.

What is wrong with that??

Take a closer look at the By-Law that the Great One is using, with the aid of his Lawyer-on-a-lease, to justify his latest attack on our liberties.

Please note that the interpretation by Israel/Tennyson cabal is that the Executive Committee or is it the Officers committee have the last word on what is sent to the Delegates for consideration.

Or to put it another way the Delegates have the right to a Yes or No a vote only if the Executive Committee wants to send it to the Delegates. If the Executive Committee wants No they can have it, period.

Or if the Powers that be don't like the by-law change, or anything else that should  be presented to Delegate Assembly they don't have to present it.

Or to put it another way. The final say is with David Israel, not with the Delegates. If he deems it necessary to present an item to the Delegates then we have the right to say yes or no to it. But if it isn't presented then the up or down vote lies with the Committees, ONLY!

What is right about that? That seems to say that every vote that any committee says no to is not to be presented to the Delegates.

Or some votes never reach the Delegates. Yes or No. Such as the stripping contract. Or if they do reach the delegates, they are touted as so good they cannot be turned down, such as the Security Contract.

Slowly, but surely, the President is gathering and getting more power and all at the expense of the Delegates. This must not be allowed to happen!!!

Egregious and wrong.

This post of Israel's is the most egregious I have ever seen. The fact the the lawyer on a lease proposes that the by-laws  can be interpreted in a number of ways does not make it so.

The fact that the President wants to get rid of these By-Law changes because it threatens his life as the Lifelong President is and should be paramount in every Delegate's mind.

Israel and his minions are afraid for their jobs.

Term Limits will certainly affect the aims of D.Israel as far as his plans to remain Life Long President.

But there is more. The change that says essentially one bite at the apple. Officers can only vote once. That means, although a vote is required at the 3 committees, all voting members can only vote once.

Look at what is happening here, Israel is threatened with these By-Law changes and so he is doing everything he can think of to get rid of them.

But the worst thing he has thought of and is trying, is to stop the Delegates from Voting. To stop the functioning of the Delegates before it even starts.

I think Idi Amin did that in 1984, successfully. How did that work out in the long run?

So what are we to do if the Grand Master does not bring these needed by-law changes to the Assembly?

Are we in charge or is Israel completely in charge and, at this point answerable to no one.

Certainly not the Delegate Assembly!!

So we must arise, we must challenge him. For now the only place left to do it is at the Delegate Assembly this Friday. This must be brought up, discussed and Voted on.

A QUESTION FOR DAVID ISRAEL

      Here is a question posed by Marilyn Pomerantz, a former officer of UCO, and a hard working asset for the Rag when it was the Reporter, before she was thrown under the bus. It asks a question that is concerned actually with the lack of honesty and transparency in the present UCO administration.

"David:  I have been looking for the video of the Officers meeting which took place Thursday, August 27th, 2015.

Where is it?  

Do you not want the people of CV to see what was discussed, what is happening at these meetings?  I think it is important that people hear what is being said, see what committee members are actually attending these meetings and what is happening here in the village with WPRF and all of our other committee meetings. All meetings should be on your blog and on Channel 63."
